Frequently Asked Questions
Does San Diego municipal code prohibit movie theaters from banning outside food and drinks?
AMC Entertainment Inc. has banned outside food and drinks at all of its theater complexes. Didn't the City of San Diego pass an ordinance some time ago prohibiting this practice? I can't find any record of it.
How can they? It is a privately owned business.

What is there for kids between the ages of 14 and 18 to do at night in San Diego?
I am from Germany and am helping with a youth exchange program. The kids in the program are between these ages, and I wanted to find them some fun things to do at night when they have free time.
I would go to Boomers. It's a miniature golfing, arcade games, batting cages, and race cars. There's the Fashion Valley Mall where you can do some shopping and have something to eat. There's an AMC 20 movie theater as well.

does plaza bonita in san diego open on labor day?

I don't think the stores will be open but the movie theatre will. AMC is ALWAYS open. So you won't be completely bored on Labor day
im going to cincinnati OH with my family and i get to bring three of my friends what should we do?
please give me a list of things that three 15 year old girls can do in cincinnati, thanks!!! we want to have fun but we dont know what to do!!
I have lived in Cincinnati for 23 years. Aside from what has been said, here is a list of attractions:
Kentucky Side of the River:
Newport on the Levee AMC Theater, IMAX, and Newport Aquarium
Newport Gangster Tour
Star Lanes Bowling Alley--plush bowling. I believe you will be okay to attend early in the day.
Wakeboard cable park in West Chester (great for beginner's and experts)
Duck Boat Tours on the River
Riverbend concerts--next to coney island
Sand volleyball at julifs park, beech acres park (great skate park here too), or any other park in the area
Krohn Conservatory and Botanical Garden in Eden Park--one of the best in the world. Views of the city and the river aren't far, either. You can walk to the reflection pond and do some small-time rock climbing down by the basketball courts on the old reservoir wall. The Cincinnati Art Museum is great. Even if there is nothing spectacular on display, the gardens and architecture make it worth your while.
Cincinnati ZOO--second only to San Diego
Hang out on fountain square--movies often played on big screen on Fridays.
Go to a reds game on Friday--fireworks are awesome (this alone is worth the trip, even if you don't like baseball)
Go shopping in Clifton on Ludlow and at the Urban Outfitters on Ohio street. Both are very unique. Check out Shake It Records in Northside--often record release performances for all ages
Visit the contemporary Arts center downtown and visit the School of Creating and Performing Arts--as seen on Taking the Stage on MTV
Take a walk through Ault Park's gardens
Eat Graeters ice cream in Hyde Park square. You will see many boys and girls your age here.
Ride bikes on the Little Miami Trail
Kayak or Canoe Little Miami (Morgans Canoe in Loveland)
Get a gourmet hotdog at Senate in Over the Rhine
Eat a burger at Terry's Turf Club--amazing!!
Grab food at any of the amazing restaurants in Mt. Adams, downtown, and Hyde Park (Green Papaya sushi is amazing!)
Keep your eyes pealed for Nick Lachey 😉
Best theater in San Diego?
What is the best movie theater in San Diego to go see 300?
Depends on your preference in taste and crowds. If you like the teeny bopper scene, I suggest the Westfield malls in either El Cajon or Mission Valley. If you like the 21&up scene and want to drink and party before or after the movie, Downtown Pacific Theater or Horton Plaza would be for you. If you like the Fashion scene and the Cheesecake Factory go to Fashion Valley AMC Theater. If your a gangster in east san diego, go to the Regal Cinama on university avenue near 54th street, there's no wait plus a hometown buffet for all your ghetto eats.
Anywhere in San Diego I can buy fresh duck w/ an EBT (food stamp) card?
I want to cook a duck for thanksgiving, and I was told fresh duck is best, I just don't know where to get one with an EBT card. Anybody know??
When I was going to the AMC Prommenade 20 Movie theatre I saw a Fresh Meat/ poultry place that accepted EBT.
I can't remember the street - I was on the 933 bus - It stops right in front of it. I hope this helps.
I took the blue line trolley to Iris Ave Trolley Station and took the 933 Imperial Beach / Iris Station
does amc theater charge for 2 year olds ?
do they charge and if they do how much
in san diego
and how much is a adult ticket
I know that the AMC theaters in Florida charge for ages 2 and up. You would pay whatever the children's rate is in your area. When I took my 2 year old to the movies last week, I just said two adults and one infant, and they let her in for free. They didn't even ask for her age (but she is petite for a two year old). So, unless they ask, you may be able to get him/her in for free.
Where to eat around Disneyland CA?!?
Im coming from San Diego and its my golden birthday at the end of this month. I wanna go somewhere nice in Anaheim or even OC for a nice birthday dinner on a Sunday evening.
Well you should eat in Downtown Disney. They have restaurants like the ESPN Zone which is my favorite, you should go there, and after you eat, you can also enjoy you birthday by playing up stairs in the sports arena, an arcade with bowling, and rock climbing also. Other places to eat in Downtown Disney is the Rainforest Cafe, a rain forest themed restaurant, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Cafe, a New Orleans Style Restaurant, the House of Blues, a music concert venue, but you have to buy tickets for those. If you want free live music, every night in Downtown Disney, different kinds of artists perform out side in Downtown Disney, and if you want to watch a movie, there is an AMC Theatre there also. Another place you can eat by Disneyland is in the Anaheim Gardenwalk. It's a couple of blocks from Disneyland, restaurants they have there you can eat in is Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, California Pizza Kitchen, McCormick & Schmicks Grille, Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, and P.F. Changs China Bistro, and more. If you want to do stuff there other than eat, you can go shopping, there are different stores around the Anaheim Gardenwalk, you can go bowling in the 300 Anaheim which is a contemporary bowling alley where you can also celebrate and eat there, and also you can watch a movie in their IMAX movie theatre. For more information about Downtown Disney, and the Anaheim Gardenwalk, the websites are below in the sources.

Did perks of being a wallflower come out today?
I heard about it, I read the book, and I really wanted to see it, But I checked my local theater an they didn't have it, my mother works there and even confirmed it. (we've been going through some financial difficulty.) I checked a fandango app on my phone and I checked for theater near me, it said there weren't any that showed it within a 15 mile radius, so I upped it, and it still said it wasn't playing within that radius, I kept upping the radius till it said it wasn't playing within 250 miles of me. (that's as high as it went. I wasn't actually thinking of driving that far just to see a movie, but still.) why isn't it playing anywhere near me.
Just in case it helps I live in Phoenix Az
In Los Angeles the movie can be seen at the The Landmark and ArcLight Hollywood cinemas. In New York, it is showing at Landmark Sunshine Cinema and AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13.
