Im a singer & I want 2 b a lead singer in a rock band wen im older. (im 14, almost 15) but i have a lot of guy problems & ive noticed tht there r a lot of guys who date girls tht play bass guitar. i no its not gonna keep me from having guy problems, but im hoping tht itll make me have LESS guy problems. is tht ok?
YES, you can be a bass player and lead singer at the same time. I did it, so can you. However, playing the bass and singing is NOT (as you well know) going to solve any of your guy problems. If you really want to know about love and all the things people do wrong and all the false perceptions they have which get them into trouble with the opposite sex, there is a wonderful movie directed by Clint Eastwood that points out all of them and if you watch it with an open mind and just absorb what is being said and think about the situations portrayed in that movie, you will come away a better person for having seen it and your chances of understanding and applying the common sense approach to love that the play-write wanted you to obtain will be very high. When asked about his favorite movie during an interview Clint Eastwood said it would have to be "Breezy". It's available at Netflix on DVD.
One word of warning about watching any movie. If you want to get the most out of a movie or anything else that you observe ponder this ... "Unless the soul goes out to meet what you see, you do not see it. Nothing do you see, not a beetle, not a blade of grass." That is also true of a phenomenon we commonly call love at first sight. When two hearts meet and their eyes touch, their souls will reach out and embrace one another. The soul is capable of learning more about the other person in an instant than the conscious mind is capable of learning in a lifetime. Soon thereafter when you meet again and you feel that warm cheerful assurance that you are in the presence of someone who truly cares about you, that is when you have the very best opportunity to fall in love successfully. That is what the movie Breezy so perfectly portrays. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I wish you well!
