Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Where are the best places to eat in Disney?
My family and I (12 others) will be at Disney in 2 weeks, and we need to start making reservations! What are some good places to eat? Anywhere in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Downtown Disney, the Boardwalk, anywhere!! Thank you

    • ANSWER:
Oh good lord EVERYTHING is good! Epcot by far has the best choices of both sit downs and snacks in the World Showcase.

It can be very hard to make suggestions considering everyone likes different food... thus I would go online at Disney and look over the different places and the menus.

I can say our personal faves are...

      Magic Kingdom:
-Crystal Palace, character meal with pooh and friends and is a great buffet
-Aloha Isle, Dole ice cream stand for snacks is great!
-Cinderellas Royal Table, great food and fun if you have little girls
-Liberty Tree, sit down family style meal, great for meat and taters
      -Main Street Bakery, wonderful sweets!

      Epcot:
-Coral Reef, mainly fish but a few beef meals, eat next to the fish tank
      -Nine Dragons, really good Chinese
-Boulangerie Patisserie, extremely good French sweets, the chocolate mousse is to die for
-Le Cellier Steakhouse, books VERY quick, wonderful steaks and is in the Canada area
-Teppan Edo, great Japanese like a steakhouse setting, very fun
-in Germany the handmade giant soft pretzels are WONDERFUL!

      Hollywood Studios
-Sci-Fi, american food, really good shakes, you sit in a car and it is like you are at an old drive in movie
-Mama Melrose, great italian, i love their pizza

      Animal Kingdom
-Tusker House, that is the only sit down place we eat when we go there, really good buffet
-Rainforest Cafe, nice place but they are all over so we never eat there
-Yak and Yeti has really good Asian but not a big menu

      Animal Kingdom Lodge
-Boma and Jiko have GREAT food (jiko is very expensive and i think it takes two dinner credits)

      Ft Wilderness
-Hoop-De-Doo is really fun if you have small kids, fun for adults too

      Contemporary
-Chef Mickeys, another character meal (breakfast and dinner) with Mickey and friends

      Grand Floridian
-1900 Park Fare, another character meal with Alice in Wonderland and a few others
-Garden View Tea Room, fun for the girls (adult and kid)

      Polynesian
-Spirit of Aloha, fills fast and is a family style meal with a hawaiian show

      Downtown Disney
      -Fultons Crab, great fish

But again I suggest you just go online and look at the menus. And do not shy away from character meals, they are fun even if it is just all adults.

Really look at the World Showcase in Epcot though, they have many great snacks at small stands in each of the areas.

      Have a great time!!!!

  2. QUESTION:
Anyone have any opinions on the Economy Hotels at Walt Disney World?
I'm taking my kids to Disney this summer and want to stay on the grounds but can't decide which economy hotel to use- they all look pretty equal. Anyone ever stayed there or have any great Walt Disney tips? I've been doing research and want to make this the best trip ever for my kids as they have never been. We will be there for 5 days and I have an 11 yr. old daughter and a 5 yr. old son. I know all the basics, park hopping, extra magic hours, etc. I just want to make sure they both have a great time and are totally saturated by their Disney experience! I haven't been since I was a child so it will be like a first time for me, too! I know we won't be in the hotel a great deal, but we want to have a nice place for when we are there but not pay a fortune. Anyway, any help is appreciated! Thanks!

    • ANSWER:
The way I understand it is that you are wanting to stay at a value resort, correct? My recommendations would be either the All Star Movies or Pop Century. While all of the value resorts are pretty much the same, these are the newest. Then you also have the Music and Sports. Sine you have a girl you may not want to do sport. But the last two are the older of the values. For kids I think that the All Star Movies will be your best option. The icons are amazing and kids always love it. The icons at Pop are also great, but I think mom and dad will like them a little more than the kids. But still, when a little kid sees these huge icons, they will be amazed. Now another option would be to stay in the new All Star Music Family Suite. They just opened these up. They can hold up to 6 people, so you would have a little more room to move around, but they also have a small kitchen. I believe it has a microwave and refridgerator. It's another option for you, but I think they run slightly higher than the moderate resorts.

As far as tips, there are so many. I definitely would do the dining plan. It will make your trip a little more expensive, but you will save a lot of money while dining in Disney. If you are staying on property and won't have a car, this is the absolute best way to go and even great if you do have a car. I think that a character meal will also be great, since you have a little boy and girl, something like Chef Mickey's would probably be good. You can also eat at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle at Magic Kingdom.

All the parks are great. Since your son is a little younger, you will probably be spending the most time at Magic Kingdom and maybe Animal Kingdom. All the parks are great, but these tend to be a little more popular for younger kids.

I also love Downtown Disney. It's beautiful at nice and very enjoyable. It's also fun for the kids because they have the huge World of Disney Store and Once Upon a Toy Store. They are large and sell everything you could possibly think of, I love them.

I think this covers most things for you. There are so many different things that I could recommend, but each person will be different, so it really depends on what you like.

One final suggestion I have is contacting a good travel agent. Find an agent that specializes in Disney, trust me, it is well worth it. I would stay away from online discounters like Expedia and stuff for two reasons. First, they usually cost more than using a travel agent and second they usually don't offer the Disney hotels. Not to mention they are not travel agents and don't help to book your trip, and many people have had pretty bad experiences using them.

I have used http://mousetrips.com/WaltDisneyWorld.html for the past several years and I have been 120% satisfied with them. They answer all my questions, plan the trip, book my dinings, give me recommendations, etc. It's great because they know everything about Disney and can give me tons of tips for my trip so I can have the best possible time. Since it has been a little while since you have been to Disney, a lot has changed. It can be difficult to book your own trip and get everything out of it. Some people say you can find the same information online. I don't really agree. While some of it you can find online, not all of it, plus you won't have to do the research. My agent does not charge anything for her services, so it really is a win-win situation. I definitely recommend them. There website is also a great resource to plan your trip.

I hope this answers all your questions. I go to Disney quite often, so if you have anymore, feel free to e-mail me.

      Hope this helps!

  3. QUESTION:
Do you think Disney Channel is becoming worse every year?
Disney destroyed the perfect Disney image back in the day when it was the classic Snow White, Mickey Mouse, Cinderella and all that. Now they have stupid shows like Phineas and Ferb and other cartoons, and embarrasing Hannah Montana. Disney's perfect for creating $luts too! And come on...what is up with that typical long hairstyle you see on every guy in Disney! (The only cast I respect are those on Wizards of Waverly Place).

Oh, and can someone explain why they don't have commercials other than their own annoying commercials???

    • ANSWER:
Yes there is nothing for adults

I miss Vault Disney. I used to watch Zorrol, Daniel Boone all the old classics. The Hallmark channel shows the old Live action Disney movies. They need a Family Disney Channel. They have Too Disney. I wish I could have a channel that I could see all the live action classics and show my kids the things that I grew up on. The all tween channel drives me nuts.

As soon as you get a show you like, they cancel it. Phil of the future was a riot! Gone!

It seems like they have forgotten there are Disney fans over 14.

Why does the channel to have tween programing all day, 24 hours a day. It seems like there is room for adults too.

I have had to go and buy the old classics to show them to my kids.

      20,000 leagues
      Mary Poppins
      Pollyanna
      The Cat from Outer Space
      Zorro
      Mickey Mouse Club

I could go on and on. I have even found that the shows have gone from very sweet to teens with attitudes and Smart a&* comments. I am not sure what they are thinking? My 6 year old watches Hannah Montana and just seems like you she will watch whatever they tell her is good.

I think Lizzie Maguire was better

Overall they need to rethink the direction they are taking the channel and who they are leaving out in the process.

They need to drop all the breaks to just run their own ads. I really hope they do not adopt actual commercials.

Overall I say give us Family Disney Channel. I would pay a monthly fee to see better programming, no commericals and get to see the classics.

They did a test run on cable PPV last month with Disney Classics and the program was very successful. Hopefully it will show them that there is a audience that is going ignored.

Your question inspired me to find this online petition. Maybe with 1 million people? We could get a Vault Disney Channel.

  4. QUESTION:
Kids and Disney World? Best Plans For Travelling?
We are taking our 5 year old daughter and 3 year old twin son and daughter to Disney World in early/mid November (we will be flying from Massachusetts to Florida), and we would like some help on where to stay/activities for the kids on the plane ride/best parks and attractions for the 5 and under crowd. They're very excited and so are my husband and I because we've wanted to take our kids to "see Mickey Mouse and Cinderella" for a while. Any ideas on planning for this trip?

    • ANSWER:
I'm jealous. Taking kids that age is fun. It is not without it's trials, as I am sure you will learn. But, with patience is can be great.

Where you stay is really dependent on budget and whether you plan to spend time at your accommodations. When we go we spend every moment possible in the parks, so we just need a place to crash. Many other folks like a much more relaxed experience. So, just think about all of that.

      1. Have all the kids birth certificates with you. I have never been asked, but just have them.

      2. If you are staying offsite and there is a Disney Store near you, go get your tickets there ahead of time. It just saves you some problems on that first morning. You can also order them online and get them delivered to you.

      3. If you are staying onsite the tickets and your room key are the same card, so you will get that all fixed up when you check in.

      4. If your kids are used to 4 hour car trips and staying belted into their seats, the plane ride should be littl different. If your kids are the ones that like to squirm and get out of their seats, you are in for a pain in the rump.

      5. Get to the airport early. With three young kids, you really don't want a forced bump.

      6. Have one adult go through security, then the kids, then another adult last.

      7. Check out their carryon bags on the way to the airport to make sure one of them did not throw in scissors or something at the last minute.

      8. Take your own strollers. This will let the three year olds have a comfortable, at home, place where they can nap.

      9. Take snacks and such and leave them in the stroller basket. No problems.

      10. You can do some 'grown up' rides using the kid swap. Ask the cast member at the entrance how it is handled for the ride you are interrested in. Basically, one of you waits in line and rides. When they get off the other person gets to go to the shorter line.

      11. You can also do the fast passes for the kid swap thing.

      12. Lots of the attractions are in dark theatres, so see if you can get your kids ready for that. Take them to a Disney Movie before you go.

      13. It's tough to be a bug is scary for little kids.

      14. The Magic Kingdom is the number one park for you. I would go to all 4, but MK will be your favorite.

      15. With the kids along, you have to roll with the punches a bit. If they get cranky, you might have to slow down, or end the day early, or whatever. You have twins, so I am sure you get it, ya know.

      16. Your kids might love getting picures with the characters, or it might scare the crap out of them. Could go either way, so just go with it whatever happens.

      17. I am going to assume that you won't be doing too many sitdown restaurants while there, just based on the age and number of kids. That is fine. There is lots of 'fast food.' The quality is about what you probably expect. Edible...OK... So, have their snacks and drink boxes with you in the stroller so you can have options....

      18. ....

I can go on forever... But it becomes not very useful at some point. Just make your reservations based on what you want to spend, and go have fun. Read up on the parks so you know what you want to do, and just do it.

      Wish I was going.

With popular kids Austin Ames, Shleby Cummings, and their crew, then her house family, the only escapes she has are the Diner Staff, her best friend Carter, and an online buddy-Nomad. They both go to North Valley High and dream of going to Princeton. They have a relationship that goes on through text messages and emails. He finally asks her to the Halloween dance, where they meet, and she finds out Austin is Nomad. Not knowing who his 'Cinderella' is, he goes on one of the toughest quests ever, as Sam's friends convince her to tell him. He finds out at a more than humiliating pep rally that Cincerella is 'Diner Girl'. She finally tells off her steps, and she manages to tell off Austin. At the end, they supposedly end up dating, going to Princeton, and she finds her dad's will, stating it leaves EVERYTHING to Sam. Happy Ever After? Who knows. Written by Kaylynn

  10. QUESTION:
Old Cinderella cartoon, probably an anime, someone please help me find it!?
Okay, there's this old Cinderella cartoon I used to watch as a kid where she gets her dress and slippers from a big tree, and she gets locked up in a house and climbs out the window, and there's this creepy carpenter guy that chases after her and he gets caught in a net and the birds fly him away... She goes through a big garden at the prince's ball... Someone please reaffirm my sanity by helping me find this movie!!! I lost it during a move a few years back and can't find traces of it online. I KNOW I watched it...I KNOW it exists...

    • ANSWER:
I can't help with the movie but if you go to www.imdb.com and search Cinderella it will bring up all the movies with that title ever....even the ones that went straight to video.
      hope this helps :-)

  12. QUESTION:
What's your opinion on A Cinderella Story?
Ok Ok I know this movie is a few years old, but still, I have to say this!
In the movie, Sam, or Hillary Duff, was "in love" with some guy she had met in a chat room and never met in person! They were texting saying how all they could think about was eachother. This is a little kid's film and she is putting herself in potential danger, sending the message that it's ok to meet ppl online and "fall in love" and meet, which is completely unsafe, I know by experience. Unfortunately I learned the hard way. I am wondering what Disney was thinking! And the worst part was, they would stay up so late talking about how much they liked eachother and stuff and she agreed to meet him. I am totally against the idea of this film because of the strong influence it has on little kids. It's completely unsafe. What do you think?

    • ANSWER:
It's a movie. You aren't supposed to do the things that you see people do in movies. Harry Potter flies around on a broom stick. Does that mean you are going to jump out of your third story window while on a broom hoping to fly off into the distance? I hope not.

People have to realize the different between reality and fiction. Movies don't show what real life is like. End of story. It's up to the parents of the kids to teach them internet safety among other things.

  13. QUESTION:
What should I see during my one day visit to Disney World with my 3 year old son?
We are going for one day to Disney World and I have no idea what to do to see the main things there. I have never been there and there will be more of us but we do it mostly for him. He loves Cars movie and Princess stories. I heard there is a dinner with the character? How does that work? I will also have an 18 month old daughter but she will most likely just tag along. I don't think we will be going on roller coaster rides. So what is there to do for a 3 year old boy? Also can I buy a ticket there or should I do it ahead of time on the internet? Thank you so much!!!

    • ANSWER:
Wow, this is going to be such a fun experience for all three of you! I am so excited for you, because Disney World really is the happiest place on Earth, and you are going to fall in love, I know I did! [:

      Tickets:
You are going to want to plan ahead of time and buy your park tickets online, that way so you can be prepared and go right through the park gates when you enter the park instead of waiting in a line with anxious children, ready to get into the park. There are many different options on park tickets, for example the "Park Hopper" ticket. You can go to any of the FOUR Walt Disney World theme parks all in a day, as many times as you want to visit.
You can go to the Walt Disney World website for ticket pricing and details here:

      http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketTrans?storeID=DRD&tktFitterDefaultQty=ADULT=1|CHILD=0|ALL=1&lengthOfStay=7&tokens=WDNJBeEaWBW0E9FJ4hadq5FX6H%2B75JCI%2F7c4HdCq0USv11JwLfjh3lR0lQFa3FRV9jYfCp6aFFJ2b3oUeOo9kB0UrBt9R1%2Fn%2FBqym7%2FMk60J7WR2BQBMGL%2Fbwk8DJWgIaxe8GkVjl5bJP8aGCnhUH4TJeF4bRzGV77SHTbY0b2q1EIayGuIWb43a5IUKFZqw3ldBgr%2FdOUh5CfvCmPAk7hA1r0t%2F32Xy9byN%2FPJ%2F5n0dKzyFfQPeg%2BApepC%2B5WcxEiwXhtsgEEjwXa%2FBlJcVxhIw%2BNHqDIRNNbv7MWHoUoCdAKGUHcUReuQnc3QkX5r76fVue2Uh6lv3jEkHLsuuThXx4Mr9hjNi5F%2FllUDUQCFTDer5NfOCrKGVJT1bn%2BsIq4g1qGI3uG9ehe9TPelCtx0AyzC%2BXxykiO4VJWUSGUzaiWL9CwQtlZINcTgiA7z37ANzWoybvudpy3T7gZSZVe%2BpZwfRRz0Z89H8l00mcrHvzhlKMMyaUgyAGLHocfkvEe6suZEexVsnAcmh%2BC%2BRTwyAGLHocfkv1lJ%2F0i%2BygYaSV2cz%2FqezZJi02U%2B0jZKHLnVM7FZMqHLD0z1JHJoVZbeQ64SKDLSkxs8EjVdN17DG2Oou24DnvniwffuEcZY7K1CfXfwSSXfMBL%2Fe%2BjVLHfqp56oywppNUZzpyYgw%2FIu%2BsThkpmb8WRDHR2Aw1X7K2jlqvbPktBMQx0dgMNV%2ByqcyF5fv28NetWvft20yjCQHIX%2F3VzKRjhLRCkI0xeYe1RlP9Qvt29o6i0h7ajmyXHW6C7qONPU%2BA2KPU0y8%2Bev47gpxyEfaFEqE%2B6NT9EauujOn8c7F4qcsTE3CJmky8xjb2TKisXMmxzM3s9TrkAQ%3D&drnid=4220182

There are four Walt Disney World theme parks:

      1. Magic Kingdom -
The Magic Kingdom is every child's dream. Your child will do things he only imagined in his wildest dreams. He can playfully pillage with pirates, dance with fairies, meet and greet the princesses, or race around a car track. However, Disney World is not only for kids, but adults too! It's the only place you can truly feel like a kid again, and you will love it just as much as your kids will.

      Magic Kingdom Information:
      http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/

      2. Animal Kingdom -
The Animal Kingdom is the place to go if you and your child love animals. Go on a Jungle Safari,or ride down River Rapids in the setting of "Africa".There is alot to see and do at the Animal Kingdom, but it's not really one of my favorites.

      Animal Kingdom Information:
      http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/animal-kingdom/

      3. Epcot -
Epcot is the future of our world. Explore planet Mars, see what our future will become, or walk around the WHOLE world at Epcot's World Showcase. Visit different countries and sample foods, stores, and meet people from around the world. Dance with Nemo and Friends, and explore the Living Seas. There is a lot to do in Epcot, including Kidcot Fun Stops for the little ones.

      Epcot Information:
      http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/

      4. Hollywood Studios -
Hollywood Studios is all about the Glitz and Glamour of old Hollywood times and movies. Watch Indiana Jones defeat the villains, Watch Mater and Lightning Mcqueen race down Hollywood Boulevard in a parade, and explore the world of Narnia.

      Hollywood Studios information:
      http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/hollywood-studios/

*i highly suggest you should take your children to the Magic Kingdom, as it has the most attractions and fun things for your little ones. (:

      Dinner With the Characters:
Located inside the Magic Kingdom Castle (Cinderella's Castle), there is a restaurant called Cinderella's Royal Table. If you look up the number online, you can make reservations for dinner on the date you are going to Disney World by calling their number. It is a meet and greet with all of the characters while you eat dinner. (They come around to each table while you eat.) It is a very very neat experience, and you don't want to miss out. However, it is very popular and expensive, so if all else fails, you can go to Chef Mickey's (restaurant), located inside the Contemporary Resort right next to Magic Kingdom. (A meet & greet buffet, also an AMAZING experience). Whether you choose either of the two restaurants, you'll have a great time.

      Chef Mickey's Information:

  14. QUESTION:
Which actress do you like better?
Selena Gomez or Hilary Duff. Decide according to their acting abilities, singing talent, physical appearance, and overall personality. (you can also do style, but I'm not)
    Here's what I think:
Acting abilities: I think they're both amazing. In my opinion Hilary Duff is better at drama and Selena Gomez is better at comedy, but they're both amazing. So here it's a tie. Here's a list of the major work each have done (that I know of)-keep in mind that Selena is still working.

Those are just what I know so there may be more-If there are, feel free to let me know so I can check them out.

    Singing Talent:
I think they're both great, but I have no idea how much of either one's voice is edited for singing. I personally love them both, but Hilary Duff sounds more natural and overall, I think I like her better in this category.
Here's a list of songs they've done that I know of.

    Winter Wonderland
    Wizards Of Waverly Place
Wizards Of Waverly Place Theme Song
    Yo Quiero Ser Perfecta
(I got this list online so I'm pretty sure that's it)

    Physical Appearance:
Okay, so here, I had a real dilemma. They're both natural beauties with and without makeup. I think Hilary USUALLY looks better in pictures, and Selena USUALLY looks better in real life and movies, but, personally, I think I have to say Selena's prettier. Nobody should take offense at this, because they are both completely different, but, if I could look like one or the other, I think I would choose Selena.

    Overall Personality:
This was also really hard. They're both amazingly sweet and human, despite being famous and successful. I love them both, but I think I'm going to go with Selena Gomez because she has a really great sense of humor, she's light and easygoing, and very personable.

So here we tally it all up.
Acting: tie-really I'm not sure; it might change sometime, because I've only watched a few movies with Selena Gomez and a bunch with Hilary Duff, and it's so hard to judge because their styles are so different, but...
    Singing Talent: Hilary Duff
    Physical Appearance: Selena Gomez
Overall Personality: Really close, but Selena Gomez.

Soooo, for me it was really, really close, but, for now, my favorite is Selena Gomez. Now tell me what you think. Factor in whatever you want and feel free to tell me if I missed something. But please realize that this is just my personal opinion and it was really close, so don't criticize me or anyone else who answers. Thanks ya'll, and I'm sorry this was so long.

    • ANSWER:
I like Hilary Duff better. I think she is in general a better actor & a MUCH better singer. Selena is a horrible singer live.
As far as looks I think they're both beautiful.
Since hilary had a baby, I think it made her a little more pretty.
      She has that mommy glow.

  15. QUESTION:
Hello, I just turned 26 years old and I feel that i should only be 16! ?
Hello, I just turned 26 years old 2 days ago and I feel that I should only be 16 max!
What I mean by that is that I still haven’t finished school yet while my brother who is only 22 is getting his PHD next year and he is in a serious relationship for 3 years now and my older sister is married with 3 kids and have her own business. I’m proud of them and have always encouraged my brother to go further than he could go... I, on the other hand, don’t know what I want to do with my life, so I keep changing degrees. (I work full time and go to school part time in the evening). The worst part is that I’m still single.
I had a brief... brief ... relationship that ended 8 months ago with a retard... Literally, and now I’m back to being single. I keep telling myself that I’m ok, that it will come one day, not to worry, etc but I’m only telling myself these things so that I don’t go into a depression.
I met some people (both online and in real life) but none interesting. I never really had a real boyfriend before my ex because I’m very picky and have a no B*ll shit type of attitude (which is bad I know cause I always want the perfect guy even though he doesn’t exist but I still try to find him and when I end up talking to a guy that’s far from being my ideal guy, I get discouraged and disappointed and just end up leaving him without giving him a chance). So when I met my ex I tried to stop being so stuck up and gave him a chance, and I lost myself and didn’t look at the cheating signs from him
Last year, I bought a house and had my mother moved in with me after 3 years of living by my self. I only did it because she really wasn’t in a good place, emotional, financially and physically. Since I had the means of helping her I chose to do so. She is now healthy (she used to take 18 diff types of pills each day just to be able to stand up and go to work and now she only takes 2 types for her blood pressure) , and she’s also loving her new life with me, she’s going out, going to the movies, gardening, etc etc. The only issue is that t she now believes that I will live with her forever and she doesn't seem to think that I one day would want to have a life of my own... in other words, she makes me feel guilty each time I try to bring it up and she tells me that she’s just going to rent a basement or a room in somebody’s house if I ever leave her. I have no regrets because I see how she is now compared to how she was before, and I’m not a selfish person, so that’s why I did it.. .But still... sometimes I wonder if it was the right decision.. Sometimes I feel like I should’ve been selfish like my brother and sister...
It seems that everyone around me is getting married, engaged, having kids, living with their mate or even alone. I know things are not always what they seem, and I'm not the jealous type, so it's not about being envious. It’s about wondering when will it be my turn and if at 26 I have to give up and just accept that I will forever be in the same place as I am right now and not evolve.
I don’t have that many friends because I don’t trust girls that much. They have always backstabbed and betrayed me and weren’t happy for my success. They were never there when I needed them, but wanted me to be there when they wanted me! But that’s ok, because with time i’ve learned that you can only trust yourself.
I met this guy at work and he has invited me out a couple of times but for some reason, I’ve always refused and I feel bad cause I’m really interested. I feel that he could have anyone he wanted, so why would he be interested in me? Even though the signs are there and he’s super sweet with me and keep telling me that I look pretty, I still feel like he’s not really interested. I live in this fantasy world where he would ask me the Cinderella way!
I seriously don’t know what or where I should be or should be doing at 26! I should be more mature, more driven, I should have a career, a house with my husband and kids and not with my mother. I should be doing lunch with my girlfriends and brunch with my relatives. Should be going on vacation in Greece and not working in a dead end job where a degree is not required.
    I’m lost !
I feel like I’m 16 year old cause nothing has changed since I was that age!

    • ANSWER:
Not everyone life ends up like that, i'm 23 with 2 kids adn when i was 15 i told my self that i was gone finish high school at the age of 17( i was homed schooled) and that i was gone finish with college at the age of 24 and then i was going to buy me a car that always wanted and that i would buy me a house and then i would find me a husband but it didn't work out that way i had a boyfriend for 2 and half years got pregnant with my daughter had her he left me before i had her, then when she was about 5 months i found out i was pregnant again with a son. I only finished one school year in cause i was sick alot, now it has taken me a while to figure out what i was going to do, but i just take it one day at a time and right no i'm not dating with anyone right now, i have a guy friend that i talk to on the phone that's it, trust me if i didn't have my kids and i was your age with and with the money i would be out traveling going to spa treatments, having fun, no matter what age you are as long as you know you got the money and you have worked hard for it why not spoil your self, you can go out and flirt with guys, and not have to talk to them any more, I think i'm jealous of your life! Don't get me wrong i love my kids to death.
Don't worry it will all come just take it one day at a time, and don't go looking for no man let him come to you. in the mean time i don't think its a bad idea for you to date that guy that you work with or at least go out with him to the movies or something as friends. Don't be in a rush to get married or have kids, let it come natural.

And i'm glad to hear that your mom is doing better im in nu

  16. QUESTION:
    Can I use this monologue?
I found it online and it is in the original script but not in the final cut of the movie the notebook if not what is your suggestion on an awesome monologue?
Do you remember sneaking over here the first time you told me about this place? I got home late that evening, and my parents were furious when I finally came in. I can still picture my daddy standing in the living room, my mother on the sofa, staring straight ahead. I swear, they looked as if a family member had dies. That was the first time my parents know I was serious about you, and my mother had a long talk with me later that night. She said to me, “Sometimes, our future is dictated by who we are, not what we want.” And I know it was wrong of her to keep your letters from me, but just try to understand. Once we left, she probably thought it would be easier for me to just let go. In her mind, she was trying to protect my feelings, and she probably thought the best way to do that was to hide the letters you sent. Not that any of it matters, now that I have Lon. He’s handsome, charming, and successful. He’s kind to me, he makes me laugh, and I know he loves me in his own special way… but there’s always going to be something missing in our relationship- the kind of love we had that summer.

    • ANSWER:
i love that monologue! it's great.
but here's just some other ones to look at!

      From A Cinderella Story:

      Sam:
No, you listen. You turned out to be exactly who I thought you were. I never pretended to be somebody else. It's been me all along. And it was me who was hurt in front of everybody. Look, I didn't come here to yell at you, okay? I know what it feels like to be afraid to show who you are. I was. But not anymore. And the thing is, I don't care what people think about me... because I believe in myself. And I know that things are gonna be okay. But even though I have no family, and no job, and no money for college... it's you that I feel sorry for. (pause) I know that guy that sent those emails is somewhere inside of you, but, I can't wait for him... because waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this drought. Useless and disappointing

      From Spider-Man 2 :

      Aunt May:
He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that, saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams

i really like these monologues too!
      good luck!

i changed the step mother part, the exclamation point, and price to 20/day and 15 before and after school. It is an online ad, but this is a small town where everyone know everyone anyways. I have to put until may because Im going back to work

    • ANSWER:
Is this an online ad? Because most mothers would never leave their kids with someone they met over the internet. You have a better chance at putting the ad in your local newspaper. The first thing I see is 'loving stepmother' which instantly reminds me of the evil stepmother in Cinderella. If you have the kids full time then you should just say 'mother'. If the step children only visit weekends then leave that part out altogether. The exclamation point in 'non smoking home' isn't necessary. Caregivers should never smoke around children anyways. Also you might want to check with prices in your area. Does other in home child care charge 5 per week? In my area that is what a certified daycare center would charge for an infant, not school age. I just noticed you said you are only available to babysit until May. Most people wont put their kids in childcare only to have to switch them in 4 months. So good luck!

    • ANSWER:
Oh those assignments drove me crazy haha.

I usually went for something that was, like, not based on fact. I did one in ninth grade on paranormal investigations for the fun of it. Last year, my second year in University, I did a presentation on the origins of fairy tales (which was a LOT OF FUN! Fairy tales used to be super-morbid and not intended for children... did you know that in cinderella, the ugly stepsisters mutilated their feet to make them fit the glass slipper?)

You could talk about anything silly, too. You could find out some crazy laws to talk about (in Canada, it's illegal to pay for anything with 100 pennies. Not even joking.) You could talk about different phenomenons in space or in the sea, places that have only been explored minimally (there's a pretty cool video online that I'll link in sources about the size of our Earth and sun in comparison to some of the largest stars in the universe that totally blew me away). Usually the stuff I find lurking around the science and technology sections of tumblr or stumbleupon wind up capturing my attention like whoa.

If nothing else, talk about something you're passionate about. Like horror movies? Talk about how the trend began, or why people like being scared. Enjoy animation or video games? I bet you could find a way to present them as more than just kids' stuff.

Then there's also coming up with silly how-to discussions. "How to get rid of a bad roommate." Or maybe "how to creep out the employees at WalMart."

  19. QUESTION:
Fondest memories of you and your friend?
I want to know some memories you and your friend had. :) *One with the longest list gets the Best Answer! :D*

    Mine are...

Playing Shrek 2 for the Game Cube. I was Donkey or Shrek and she was Puss N Boots or Fiona. Lol, I love that game. 😀

Swimming in my pool real late at night. xD And early in the morning.

Playing the PS2 in the living room at midnight. We loved the game Sled Storm! xD

Staying up till maybe 4 am and getting snacks. xD

Playing with my dog Max outside. :)

Making videos randomly with the Flip Video. xP

Riding in the Jeep when the top was taken off. 😀 (Once it rained though xD)

Sneaking across the field to see my cousin's horse. xD

Skating down the hill on scooters. 😛

When we invited this little girl, Sara, over to my house to play with the hose xD She got really mad at us for getting us wet...which didn't make sense at all....

Prank calling random people out of the phone book! xD

Playing the Wii, we still do this...

When we were walking down the road during this really crazy snow storm, the snow was so cold and blowing so fast, it made our faces hurt so we went back in.. xD

Riding bikes down the block 😛

All the memories we had in Elementary a while back : ' [ R.I.P B.E.

When we were little we used to play this survival game at recess, in school, and pick dandelions for macroni xD

When it was raining we would take of our shoes and splash in puddles! xD

Blasting music in my room and jumping on my bed acting crazy xD

And my favorite memory of all is when we first met when we were extremely young, we would play in the sand with each other, play with her doll house, and play with my puppies.

Post as many as you want! :) I will probably make another question like this when this one is full.
