Cinderella Movie Part 1 Disney

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Why is Cinderalla the most favorited, well known Disney story?
Also, what Disney movie (with a Disney princess) do you think should be on top? Any random thoughts or comments on Cinderalla?

    • ANSWER:
You seem like a Sweet person, but I am not sure why you think "Cinderella" is the most well known Disney story and is the favorite Disney film.

I would suggest that other Disney films such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"; "Beauty and the Beast"; "The Little Mermaid"; "The Lion King"; "The Jungle Book"; "Aladdin"; "Bambi" and others are more popular and considered better Disney movies.

Regarding Cinderella, I felt at times the movie shows signs of a lower budget or a strict time line that restricted the film from being as great as it otherwise might have been. There are many nice touches, but I also see spots where improvements could have been made.

The best Disney films with a Princess as part of the plot, in my opinion:

      1. The Little Mermaid
      2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
      3. Aladdin
      4. Beauty and the Beast
      5. Sleeping Beauty
      6. Mulan
      7. Cinderella

  2. QUESTION:
What advice do you have for a couple going to Disney World for their honeymoon?
We are staying at the Pop Value Resort, but we will be getting the dinning plan and everything. (His grandpa is paying for everything has a gift!) What are some things you recomend us doing? The best shows, rides, resturants? We are not into spas or golf but we love rides, fun food, crazy resturants, shopping and the movies!

    • ANSWER:
LUCKY!! lol. I wish I had his grandpa....

The Pop Century resort is pretty cool. I've never personally stayed there, but I've checked it out and taken a tour of some of their rooms.

Depending what package he got you, I THINK it includes tickets to La Nouba. (The Cirque De Soleil show at Downtown Disney.) i'd check into it and make sure whether it does or not, because you probably want to make reservations if it does.

(Assuming that you have the Magic Your Way Plan Plus Dining, or Plus Deluxe Dining. This DOES NOT APPLY if you have the quick service dining option only.) I think the dining plan includes a character meal. (Other than Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle...that one requires 2 "points" per person.) I recommend that you do this! I had a breakfast one time with Pooh and friends, and Piglet came up to me and plopped right down to me on the seat. GREAT photo ops!! (And it was awesome since Piglet's one of my favorites.)

Definitely ride the Soarin' ride. As one answerer already said, it's AWESOME. Also, the coaster at Animal Kingdom(can't remember what it's called). DO NOT rent a car. It's very easy to get around the parks on Disney's transportation system. Use it, and don't spend the money on a car unless you're planning on hitting Sea World or Busch Gardens while you're down there too.

I've been to Disney on 2 occasions for 7 days each. I recommend that you allot for a day each at MGM and Animal Kingdom (there's really not too much to do/see at these two, and you can easily do each in one day). I'd take AT LEAST 2 for the Magic Kingdom. And probably 1-2 for Epcot (one for the cultural part, one for the sciencey part). If you've got the Water Park and More option, hit the water park early in the day (ESPECIALLY if you're going in the summer). It'll be less busy, and not as hot. Then you could go back to your hotel, relax a bit by the pool, and head into Magic Kingdom for dinner and the fireworks show, Wishes.

      Some "Not To Miss"es:

      Wishes at the Magic Kingdom
      Soarin' ride at Epcot
      Test Track ride @ Epcot
Space Mountain at MK (Magic Kingdom)
      Tiki Room @ MK
Pirates of the Caribbean @ MK
      Haunted Mansion @ MK
Small World @ MK (It's airconditioned, and this will cool you down in the summer too!)
      Any of the other "coasters"
Don't skip the classic rides, either, like Dumbo and the spinning teacups.
The Arcade where you can make your own roller coaster at Downtown Disney. (Did this once...it's GREAT.)
The night show at Epcot (REALLY COOL)
The opening show at the MK. GET THERE EARLY! It's well worth it! (I cried the first time I saw it!)

ALSO- If you can, take just a day for the two of you. Maybe just hang out in the hotel by the pool or whatever. It is your honeymoon afterall...

TIP- Disney can get hectic. If you don't have to make too many reservations, DONT! It IS your honeymoon, and you don't want to be worrying about being here or there by whatever time TOO much. (A character breakfast and the La Nouba show would probably be OK, but I wouldn't make ALL of your meals be reserved character breakfasts or anything.

There is also a VERY good Mexican restaurant in Epcots World Showcase. I can't remember what it's called though...

*ADD* Just remembered...the coaster at Animal Kingdom is Expedition Everest. Sorry had a brain fart yesterday when I answered this....

Also, the safari ride at Animal Kingdom is pretty cool too, and a nice relaxing break to a hectic day.

*ADD* The thing that Alonzo is talking about is FastPass. Your "KEY" to the parks is your hotel key. You swipe this at the parks. Basically if you lose this card, you're screwed. The way the fastpass works is this....
For the more popular rides (Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, etc...most of the coasters) they have fastpass. If you get to the ride and there's an hour long wait, you swipe your room key and it gives you a slip of paper telling you to come back at a certain time (usually a range of two hours, like 5-7 pm). When you come back, you get in the fastpass line and you MIGHT have a half hour wait. It's AWESOME.

You guys are lucking out by staying on property. Your room key isn't just your room key. It's your ticket to the parks (H2O parks and Downtown Disney too), your room key, plus you can charge stuff to your room on it. I've never been to Disney with a dining plan, but I'm betting that the people at the restaurants will have to swipe your card when you guys eat, too.

  3. QUESTION:
What are some things to do in Disney World for a couple?
My boyfriend and I are going to Disney for a week in March. What do you recommend we do? What parks to visit, things to do at night, shows to watch, etc?

    • ANSWER:
My boyfriend and I love going to Walt Disney World! We've been the past two summers and we're going again in July for 11 days. There's a lot of fun things for couples to do at Walt Disney World. These are some of the things my boyfriend and I enjoy doing...

      1. Spa treatments (massages) at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It's very relaxing and romantic. You can get them done together in the Couple's Room - a perfect way to either begin or end your vacation.

      2. Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba at the West Side of Downtown Disney. My boyfriend and I have seen it the past two summers and are planning to see it again this summer. It's incredible and just gets better everytime! And you can't see the show anywhere else in the world!

      3. A romantic fireworks cruise. Walt Disney World offers fireworks cruises for couples and families aboard pontoon boats. There's the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks cruise for EPCOT and the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks cruise for the Magic Kingdom. My boyfriend and I did the IllumiNations cruise this past summer. It was so wonderful! We cruised Crescent Lake near Disney's Boardwalk, then cruised over to the Disney - MGM Studios, and finally to the World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT. We'd seen the show the night before, but it wasn't as great. There were obejcts blocking our view and crowds of people all around us, obviously. On the cruise we were all alone on the boat with a perfect view out onto the Lagoon. We're taking this fireworks cruise again this summer, too.

      4. Spend a day at Downtown Disney. There's all sorts of fun stuff to do. My boyfriend and I always start off early in the afternoon just checking out all the different shops. Then we have lunch at Bongos Cuban Cafe - it's a gorgeous restaurant and they serve the best Cuban sandwiches and flan! After lunch we usually head over to the AMC 24-Theatre Complex to see a movie. I know, you can go to the movies at home, but it's such a nice theater and the seats are so comfortable. Plus, it's nice to enter a cool, dark place for a while after walking around in the hot sun all afternoon. Then later in the evening we go see Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba. Afterwards you could go to Pleasure Island for a couple hours.

      5. Take a tour. Disney's Animal Kingdom Park has a tour called "Backstage Safari." You get to go behind-the-scenes and learn about all the exotic animals they have. You usually get to interact with an animal, often the white rhinos. Then you get to embark on your own personal Kilimanjaro Safaris ride. At the Magic Kingdom they offer a really grea behind-the-scenes tour. You get to tour parts of Cinderella Castle and the somewhat secretive Utilidoors (the level for Cast Members underneath the Magic Kingdom). At EPCOT they have the "Dolphins in Depth" tour. You get to stand in a pool with a couple dolphins and learn about them, feed them, give them signals to do tricks, etc. There's also the "Seas Aqua Tour" which is amazing! You get to swim in the aquarium tank with SCUBA gear on. You swim with the sting rays, sea turtles, and other tropical fish, and then the sharks below. It's so much fun! My boyfriend and I did it this past summer and had the time of our lives! It was all we could talk about our entire trip! We can't wait to do it again this summer.

If you're going for a week I suggest spending one day at each of the four theme parks (Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Disney - MGM Studios, EPCOT, and the Magic Kingdom), a day at each of the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon), and one day at Downtown Disney. There's a lot to do at Walt Disney World, so just try and do as much as you can in the amount of time you'll be there.

There's a lot of excellent shows that you can't miss while you're there. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, the fireworks show at EPCOT is amazing! Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, the fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom is just as amazing if not more! And the best part is everything is set to classic Disney music. It's really magical. And at the Disney - MGM Studios is this incredible stage show that takes place each evening, Fantasmic! Sorcerer Mickey battles all the classic Disney Villains, and there's fireworks, pyrotechnics, and water fountains, and clips from classic Disney movies are projected onto a really big water fountain (basically just a wall of water). It's an awesome show. And if you can afford it, definitely go see Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney. It's mindblowing.

Also, be sure to dine out at some of Walt Disney World's nicer restaurants. The California Grill, Narcoossee's, Le Cellier Steakhouse, the Coral Reef Restaurant, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse are some of our favorites.

Hope I could help! Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.

  4. QUESTION:
What Disney soundtracks do you think I should purchase?
I need your help! I'm trying to think of some of the old Disney movies, with good soundtracks so that I can purchase them on itunes. I LOVE Lion King & Aladdin, and the song that Phil Collins did on Tarzan. Can you think of some of the other older Disney movies, or single songs that are classic Disney? Thanks :)

    • ANSWER:
=D I've purchased a lot of Disney music, as well - some of it off of iTunes, but mostly from a collection of albums called "Disney's Greatest Hits," which if you find (at least Volumes 1 and 2) have a really nice compilation of some of the best songs from throughout Disney history.

So, aside from the movies you already mentioned, which all obviously have fantastic music, I'd especially point out...

Beauty and the Beast - "Beauty and the Beast," "Be Our Guest"
Hercules - "Go the Distance," "I Won't Say I'm in Love"
The Hunchback of Notre Dame - "God Help the Outcasts"
The Little Mermaid - "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl"
Mulan - "Reflection," "I'll Make a Man Out of You"
Pinocchio - "When You Wish Upon a Star"
Pocahontas - "Just Around the Riverbend," "Colors of the Wind"

Other older Disney movies that may have good tracks:
101 Dalmatians, The Aristocats, Bambi (instrumentals), Cinderella, Dumbo, Fox and the Hound, Lady and the Tramp, Oliver and Company, Peter Pan

Relatively more recent Disney movies that may have good tracks:
Brother Bear, A Goofy Movie, Fantasia 2000 (instrumentals), Lilo & Stitch, Toy Story (Toy Story 2 has that really nice solo by Jessie, "When She Loved Me")

Good luck finding the music you want!

  5. QUESTION:
What is your all time favorite movie?
I've been wanting to watch some good movies and I don't want to look through a bunch, pick one, and then be disappointed. Any genre you want. I've also been looking back through at some old disney classics like cinderella, pocahontas and other movies from when I was a kid, so any movies like that would be great too. =) can't wait to see what you've got and thanks in advance.

    • ANSWER:
Here's my top 5 all time...

      1) Star Wars (1977)

Part IV in a George Lucas epic, Star Wars: A New Hope opens with a rebel ship being boarded by the tyrannical Darth Vader. The plot then follows the life of a simple farmboy, Luke Skywalker, as he and his newly met allies (Han Solo, Chewbacca, Ben Kenobi, C-3PO, R2-D2) attempt to rescue a rebel leader, Princess Leia, from the clutches of the Empire. The conclusion is culminated as the Rebels, including Skywalker and flying ace Wedge Antilles make an attack on the Empires most powerful and ominous weapon, the Death Star.

      2) Inception (2010)

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

      3) Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Six criminals, who are strangers to each other, are hired by a crime boss Joe Cabot to carry out a diamond robbery. Right at the outset, they are given false names with an intention that they won't get too close and concentrate on the job instead. They are completely sure that the robbery is going to be a success. But when the police show up right at the time and the site of the robbery, panic spreads amongst the group members and one of them is killed in the subsequent shootout along with a few policemen and civilians. When the remaining people assemble at the premeditated rendezvous point (a warehouse), they begin to suspect that one of them is an undercover cop.

      4) Far and Away (1992)

A young man (Cruise) leaves Ireland with his landlord's daughter (Kidman) after some trouble with her father, and they dream of owning land at the big giveaway in Oklahoma ca. 1893. When they get to the new land, they find jobs and begin saving money. The man becomes a local barehands boxer, and rides in glory until he is beaten, then his employers steal all the couple's money and they must fight off starvation in the winter, and try to keep their dream of owning land alive. Meanwhile, the woman's parents find out where she has gone and have come to America to find her and take her back.

      5) The Dark Knight (2008)

Batman raises the stakes in his bourgeois war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

  7. QUESTION:
What are things a couple visiting Disney World must do? We have never been there together.?
We are going in January for a week. I want to do at least one day at each Disney park, a day at universal, and a day at downtown disney. Please give suggestions!

    • ANSWER:
      Magic Kingdom:
-Try to get reservations to eat inside Cinderella's Castle. The restaurant is very romantic, and makes you feel like a princess. It is called "Cinderella's Royal Table". You'd call 1-407-wdw-dine to make reservations.

-Visit Cinderella's Wishing Well, up the path to the right of the castle. It is mine & my husbands favorite place. We like to make a wish together each trip.

-Paintbrush hunt at Tom Sawyer's Island. Each day, paintbrushes are hidden there, and if you find one and bring it to the raft captain you get a special prize. It's so much fun - we always do it. You want to be on one of the first rafts of the day to have a shot, although this is still a pretty well kept secret.

-Watch the Wishes fireworks from the Polynesian Beach - best place to watch em! Very private & romantic. Just take the resort monorail from the park to the Poly and walk down to the beach.

      Epcot Center:
-Get a times guide, look for Miyuki's candy making times in Japan. You have to go see her! She's amazing! If you're lucky, she will choose you to make a piece of candy for. Do a youtube search, you'll see what I mean about her being awesome.
-Eat & Drink around the world. It's fun to visit each country, put on a hat & take pictures together for a scrapbook, and have a drink or something to eat.
-Ride Spaceship Earth. The newest refurbishment of this ride takes a picture of the two of you, and it becomes part of the ride all the way til the end. Very cute!
-Make sure you catch Illuminations! End of the day fireworks show.

      Hollywood Studios:
-See Fantastmic, it's a great fireworks & character show at the end of the day in the Hollywood theater.
-Try to get to this park at open, and grab a fast pass to Toy Story Mania. It's possibly the best ride in any on of the parks, and gets a 2-3 hour wait. If you get there early, you can grab a fastpass for it and come back later.
-The new American Idol attraction will be opening, or may already have opened. If you like the show, you might want to see that.
-Ride the Great Movie Ride, it's a classic!
-If you do a "Hidden Mickey Hunt", this is the best park to do it at! Buy the Hidden Mickey 3rd edition book on Amazon - it's well worth the purchase. It's made for some very fun trips!

You don't need a full day at Animal Kingdom, or Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is more magical at night all lit up. Rainforest Cafe is fun, Portobello's has awesome food, and T-Rex just opened and looks great too. Take your time & visit all the stores, some are a little hidden in the back but worth a look!

Another thing that would be nice for a couple is a romantic dinner at the Contemporary's California Grille. If you time it right, you can see the Wishes fireworks during dinner!

      Have fun!

  8. QUESTION:

  13. QUESTION:
What are some good songs for a kids dance camp?
Tomorrow we start our two week long dance camp, and I'm looking for some good family friendly songs that the kids might like. The kids are grouped by age, which range everywhere from 5-14. We tend to do just silly fun things since most of our kids aren't serious dancers. For example, we always use something by the chipmunks for the youngest class. We're thinking of things like Spongebob Squarepants Best Day Ever, or Vogue, or equally fun things.

    Any ideas welcome!

They probably won't, the original came out in the 80's so ti was pretty amazing that they made a sequel especially because it's not that popular. Only movies they think will sell well get sequels generally: Cinderella, Toy Story etc

anyway the second one sucked in comparison to teh first so I'd just as soon they didn't defile it's memory anymore :/

  23. QUESTION:
want to surprise my child with a disney world trip?
she'll be 6 when we go and ill be taking her in october for her birthday. What are some good ways to surprise her with a trip. I seen this one where this mom gave her kid a backpack as an early present and after the child had pulled out all the items the mom had her guess where she was going but i'd like some more ideas if possible.

    • ANSWER:
Aww! That is so adorable! I wish my parents would've thought of something cute for me! haha but anyways, if I was 6, I would've LOVED being surprised about going to disney! I've thought of some ideas for you -

      1) Settle in to watch a family movie together. But when the movie starts…wait! It’s not really a movie. It’s a video you’ve put together with scenes from Disney, put in some disney music in there, maybe some scenes of the hotel that you are going to be staying at, hey why not! - a personal message from you concluding with a happy birthday!

      2) Tell your daughter that you are going to go somewhere special on that day. Set up a scavenger hunt in which you could spell out the place you were going, and when it spells disney, SURPRISE!

      3) As a birthday present, buy her a princess dress from one of her favorite princesses of all time! cinderella, belle from beauty and the beast. Tell her that that special princess has invited your daughter to disney world for her birthday!

      4) Take your daughter to the airport and tell her you are visiting a relative for her birthday as part of her birthday gift. Tell her the relative has a nice surprise for her. Then you will end up in disney and she will be very surprised! (caution: make sure it is not a relative in which she will be dissapointed about not seeing.

      5) On the morning of her birthday, have a cake shaped as mickey and have the cake read "Happy Birthday (Insert Name)! You're going to disney world! She will be shocked!!

      I hope these helped! :)

  24. QUESTION:
Good song to sing for KIDZ Bop Star audition...?
I need a good song that shows off my range, but still has a good melody. Probably something more popular, like pop, or a disney movie song, would be good. I'm a high soprano with a wide range. Tell me what you think!
    Good suggestions.
Just keep in mind that this is for Kidz Bop, so it needs to stay fairly kid friendly. PG. 😉

  25. QUESTION:
can anyone think of a fairytale cartoon films that is non disney?
i'm a huge fairytale freak. when I was younger i used to be in to fairy tales from disney, but got bored of it after a while. just out of curiousity can any one think of cartoon films that have fairytale themes, but aren't disney thankyou.. :)

    • ANSWER:
You could try The Thief and the Cobbler, which is based in part off of 1001 Nights (fairytale-ish at least). It has a princess, villain, and most of the fairytale elements. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgQy2I9NCS8&feature=PlayList&p=18B0CA620B61D076&index=0&playnext=1

I can't think of any others like Cinderella for example, unless we want to count the Barbie cg movies (which oddly are actually fairly entertaining).

    • ANSWER:
      Cinderella (1997 TV movie)
starring Brandy Norwood as Cinderella, Bernadette Peters as Cinderella's stepmother, Paolo Montalban as Prince Christopher, Whoopi Goldberg as Queen Constantina, Victor Garber as King Maximillian, Whitney Houston as Fairy Godmother
      IMDb synopsis:
In this Rogers & Hammerstein musical version of the classical fairy tale, where only the genetic miscasting surpasses the implausibility of most colors and sets, a royal heir is as bored with court life as fascinated with commoners lives, but his mother commands another grand ball in his name. He concedes to attend only if another lack of acceptable marital candidates wins him the right to switch to a selection process of his choice. However, Cinderella, a black stepdaughter (de facto maid) gets to attend till midnight by the magic of her fairy godmother and, unlike her hideous stepsisters, is the only one to capture his heart. So, when she rushes off, he orders every young woman in kingdom to try to fit her left-behind glass slipper.
      Here's Part 1 on YouTube:

      TRIVIA:
Lesley Ann Warren made her acting debut as the lead in Rodgers & Hammerstein's "Cinderella" when it premiered in 1965 on television. Her prince was played by Stuart Damon. (It's a wonderful version!)

  29. QUESTION:
Going to Walt Disney World, have any must sees?
We are going to Walt Disney World in March. My, my husband, Hailey-5, Hanna- 3(in April). We have never been and want to make sure we see everything that we possibly can. we are going for a week. which places are the best, worst, pros/cons. good places to stay. planning on staying at the Movies Resort.

    • ANSWER:
This will be long lol sorry. I worked there for the college internship a few years back. My first suggestion is have a plan before hand and get all the maps when you get there. It will have a list of parade times and fireworks, stuff like that. Also go to the customer service booth and tell them its your first visit and they will give all of you 1st visit pins to wear. By wearing these it lets all the employees know, and you may get extra special treatment for it. Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom are geared more towards children. Magic Kingdom has a parade and fireworks every single night by Cinderella's Castle, along with a light show. It is a must see! Also i should note that if your girls want to get pictures with characters, they are at specific locations at certain times during the day, usually inside, they don't walk around anymore. Another fun thing they might enjoy is "Pin" tradin...its very big. The girls would buy a lanyard and a pin (more if you like) and pretty much every single employee is required to wear a lanyard, some are blue and some are green. They can go up to any employee and trade for a pin that they'd want. You can do that as many times as you want. The green ones are for kids only (Adults do it too!). The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is very cool for all ages. Space mountain is also here on the futuristic side. It can be a very very long wait I recommend for all popular rides to get a fast pass.

      Animal Kingdom:
Very neat place. Lots of lush and trees. Every park has loads of shows throughout the day, so you should plan to see one. The lion king one is pretty good, kids would enjoy it. They have a new roller coaster that is AWESOME, it looks like a huge mountain-you'll know what im talking about- i probably wouldn't recommend that for the kids but the parents might enjoy!

      Epcot:
This is the one i worked at. It is has two parts, World Showcase and the other side (i cant remember the name at the moment lol). On the epcot side it has Test Track (a must) and Mission Space-i dont recommend for those who have a weak stomach. They have another new ride which is in a rather large building (again i cant remember but you glide through like california and stuff) you will know it when you get there. The cafe/restaraunt that is nearby (its like blue and pink-reminds me of the 80's) has some of the lower prices for food in the park. If you are planning on dining anywhere like in the World Showcase or somewhere more expensive, do yourself a favor and make a reservation as soon as you know you are eating there.
The World Showcase is so awesome. They have many different countries with people who are from that country working there. Each place has an authentic place to eat. There are also shows here. Make sure to look at the show times to plan. The park closes at 8 or 9 I believe and every single night they have a light show/fireworks in the lake that is in the middle of all the countries. Its suppose to showcase all of them.

      Hollywood Studios:
This is my favorite I absolutely love love love this park! They have many great rides like the Tower of Terror, and Aerosmith. They have a Fantasia show every night which is a must see. Whenever it starts get there ATLEAST an hour before hand, trust me seats fill up really fast. There are some really neat diners and things around too. Oh, do make sure to bring an umbrella, it tends to rain a lot, also make sure lots of water and sunscreen. Be prepared to spend a lot on food, everything is way overpriced. Every park usually has a McDonald's, it still tends to be pricey. You can also rent strollers so the girls don't have to walk around all day.

      Downtown Disney:
Planet Hollywood! Eat here! It is so much fun and such a cool place. They have a bunch of neat shops and places to eat here. They have a HUGE disney store here. They also have a movie theatre (very nice), Cirque De Soleil every night (also very cool!), and a Wolf Gang Puck restaraunt (he is the chef here i believe). There is also a House of Blue.

The cons of everything is the rude people, the long lines, the heat, and jacked up prices. But its an experience you can't really prepare for. Just go with a plan before you arrive at each park of places you know you have to see. You will have a really great time! Hope I helped!

  30. QUESTION:
I like acting cuz i like to make people laugh. Do I NEED an agent or acting classes before i audition?
Im a 15 year old guy and i make my friends laugh alot i have acting in mind for stuff like Disney or Nick. The only downside to actually getting the part is that while im doing stuff, my family might make me look like an idiot or do something emmbarassing lol.
i did act in my old school before as the Herald in Cinderella

    • ANSWER:
you do not 100% need an agent or acting classes, but what you do need is a portfolio. it should consist of pictures of you outside or something and can cost anywhere from 100-500$$ depending on who you are having do it... sorry but that's how it works :(

ok so here's how a good agent works - (after seeing this you may change your mind)

      1) you do need a portfolio. if they don't ask for one they are probably just a scam

      2) they are not there to cast you in movies, commercials, w/e the case may be... what they do is find you auditions to try out for

      3) they are usually free - until you get cast. then they take a fee out of what you made in that movie/Commercial/show or w/e.

the thing about acting classes is when you show them your resume, they can see that you know what you are doing and that you are taking this seriously.

      what NOT to do...

      1) if you hear a thing on the radio saying - casting calls for children ages x-x for disney channel or nick, DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT call them. it's just a scam.

      2) do not pick the first agent you see just because they send you a friendly e-mail... YOU contact THEM first, if it's the other way around (other than a few rare occasions) it's a scam.

      3) do not go on those stupid websites that say you can get the world... (talenthunter.com or other ones like that) don't waste your money on that, odds are all of the leads you get, will be scams.

      when you first start -

i reccomend doing small roles, start with the people in the backround to make the scene look real just to have something on your resume (plus it pays about 0 per day... )

just realize it's really super hard to get into. make sure you stay out of trouble when you are trying to get in there's a lot of compitition. and odds are - if they see you are not able to keep control over your life as is... you will not get the part.

      BEST OF LUCK!!!!

what parks should i visit in disney world?
i have i have six days there but what parks should i visit the most

    • ANSWER:
You should check out www.disney.com, and order the free park maps from the site. Or you could get a guide book, my personal favorite is Passporter. You can check off every ride and restaurant you want to see. Plus it has pockets to hold paper souveniers. http://www.passporter.com/wdw/guidebook.asp

With any of these things, you'll be able to read about every single attraction and show at each park, and then decide which parks seem the most interesting to you. There are 4 major parks, and you should see each one of them.

Magic Kingdom: Make sure you spend at least one full day here, if not more. This park is iconic to Disney, featuring Cinderella Castle and attractions from the most famous movies. There's a lot to do here, and it's typically the most crowded park. Make sure you see everything, including the evening SpectroMagic Parade and Wishes Fireworks display. This don't run every night, so look up the schedule before you go.

Epcot: This is the other park that you should spend at least one full day, if not more at. It's the largest park, and also has a great deal to do and see. Future World features famous rides like Test Track, Soarin and Mission: Space. There are fun, interactive areas like Club Cool and Innoventions, that you won't want to miss. I find in the later afternoon/evening, it's the best time to visit the World Showcase. This is the part of Epcot that has 11 different countries featured. You can eat their foods, drink their drinks, and experience their cultures. The theming is extremely well done. Don't miss Epcot's nighttime show, IllumiNations. It's nightly.

Hollywood Studios: This is my least favorite park, personally. There isn't a lot to do, which makes the lines at the few things there are to do, horrific. Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster and Toy Story Mania are about it for major attractions. Expect each to have 1-2 hour waits, no matter what time of year you visit. I'd go in very early, try to hit the big rides, and then see any little things you want to see. It's really a half day park for me, but you might spend a whole day there if you've never seen it. Fantasmic is a cool night time show, but it only plays randomly, so it's hard to schedule around it. Plus, since it plays randomly, it's packed with people. You need to get a sit an hour or more in advance.

Animal Kingdom: This is a great half-day or 3/4 day park. It closes early, usually at 5. Mostly it's walking around and seeing the animals, with a few hit attractions here and there. It's really well done theme-wise, and is more than just a 'zoo'. I prefer it over Hollywood Studios, but still think it doesn't warrant enough time as Magic Kingdom or Epcot.

Besides these four parks, you could go to Sea World Orlando which is amazing. You could also try Universal Studios or the Disney Water Parks. Try to give yourself some time to relax at the pool too. Walking through the parks all day is tiring. Have fun!

  42. QUESTION:
Is 4yo too young to go to Disney World?
Everyone keeps telling me to wait until my son is 6 or older.

    • ANSWER:
I would not wait until 6 at all. The first time we took my daughter she was 4 years old, and we had a blast. I know the argument is always "they are too young and won't remember anything." Honestly, how many special occasions or trips does anyone remember from when they are younger. I don't remember what happened last month, let alone when I was at Disney for my first trip. Sure, there are bits and pieces, but that is what pictures and videos are for, to help us remember. My daughter, now 11, looks at the pics from her first trip and laughs. There is always something magical that happens on each of our trips that will help you remember. On her fist trip, my daughter found the small playground near the pool area at the All-Star movies resort. When we got all checked in, our room was not quite ready, so we decided to go to the Magic Kingdom. She had a fit! She did not realize that the resort was not the only part of Disneyworld. All the way to the MK she was pouting, mad that we left Disney so soon after we got there. As the MK got closer, she got really quiet. We walked into the MK, Mickey was walking around, and I think Peter Pan was off signing autographs to the side. We stood there looking at Cinderella's castle from Main Street, and I said "Sweetie, welcome to Walt Disney World." She looked at me and smiled, then said "Dad, we don't have to go back to that playground, if that is o.k. with you." My heart melted. I will never forget that moment. It is moments like these that are made when you visit Disney.

My son is one month from 7 yrs old, and was just a year old on his first trip. He too looks at the pictures from his first trip and can see what he did and some of the faces he made when the characters came up to him. Each time we go with the kids is a new experience, because the older they get their taste in rides change, they get a little bolder in wanting to try some of the bigger rides, and we change the experience a bit. That does not diminish the time we had when they were little, it just changes the way we go. If you are thinking of planning a trip to Disney for your 4 yr old son, do not hesitate. There is more than enough there for him to see and enjoy, and it you will all have a great time. I would recommend going to the Disneyworld website to look at the rides and attractions there. It will peak his excitement. Also, I always pick up the Birnbaum's guide to WDW. You can do a resort comparison, see different descriptions of each ride. Sit down with your son and make a list of some things he would like to see. Things like Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom and Pirates of the Caribbean are things that appeal to anyone, from 1 to 99! I have also listed a link to the Dis boards, a discussion / chat board that has just about any and all info you could possibly need to plan a trip to Disney from people who really know what they are talking about.

      Have a great time!

  46. QUESTION:
I need help choosing a song for a routine!?
Hello. I am a dance coach and I need to choose a kid friendly song for my kids' routine. I didn't want it to be the typical Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus song because that's what most of the routines always use. I kind of want something upbeat and retro - or maybe something Disney 90s esque! Just something unique that the kids will like but also easy to count to so that they can be synchronized in their routine.

    Thank you so much :)
