Frequently Asked Questions
where can i watch new moon for free without taking quizzes or downloading graboid?
i wanna watch new moon for free without downloading graboid, i already had one and it won't let me make a new account. and i don't wanna take quizzes and then have to type in personal info so anyone know of a website where i can watch it for free?
You are burning the future of the American Film industry!
What are your opinions on watching pirated movies?
I really want to watch New Moon on the internet but i want to wait. What do you think about watching movies illegally on the internet. I've never done it before.
Look at it this way. If you created a film you spent much time and money on writing, producing, directing, staring in, building sets, costumes, props, make-up, special effects, advertising, music and so on, would you like some pube to pirate it for free? Would you not want to hunt that waste of oxygen down?
Yeah, watching a film in a movie theater has become pricey- but it's still one of the cheapest forms of entertainment out there. I'm all for cracking down on video or audio pirates of any kind. We all want to be entertained, but where do people get off thinking that should be free? You want free, go to the library. They may not have the latest thing, but they often carry or can get a hold of anything else.
How many seasons were there of Sailor Moon? And anyone know where i can find them?
I've found sailor moon season one on www.sailormooncenter.net but how many seasons were there and do you know what website I can watch them on. in english preferably.

The 5th season & the 5 memorials are not available dubbed in English.
You can download all of the anime & the J-drama (49 eps. & 5 specials!) subbed at the sailormoonfansubs.com forums. It's free to join. You can d/l them via BT or MU on that forum. And,they also have the Sera Myu musicals as well, but some of them are RAW,however most are SUB.
And,if you want the DUB version of Seasons 1-4,you can download them via torrents at The Pirate Bay.Just do a search for "Sailor Moon",and look through the torrents, and they will be easy to spot.
How can i watch New Moon online?
i wanna watch new moon online without downloading it or having to take the surveys/ other annoying shit... so does anyone know a place where i can?
Buy it on itunes? sorry but it wont be free as it is a very new film (even 20+ year old films aren't free to watch online!) =) xx
Where should I buy the New Moon DVD and Why?
Which one has the best special features?
If you know a better place please feel free to say.
I'm buying mine from Target.
You get the bonus clips, deleted scenes, Limited-edition film cell collectible, plus more.
Sure Walmart has the eight minute Eclipse preview, but I'll just watch that later on you tube when someone posts it there.... and you know they will.
Best buy does have the cool steel cover, but I would prefer to have the trio on my DVD.
So with that all said, I believe Target has the best package out there.

How do you get your cats to not jump on your counter?
Someone suggested packing tape, which I did and it works. I put it up and they try it once and then wont go back but as soon as I remove the tape they might wait a day or 2 and the paw prints (dust from the litter box) are back. Any other suggestions?
Here are several things you can do to keep kitty where he belongs:
Make sure that your cat has other places to climb so that the countertop is not his only vertical challenge. Climbing frames positioned by a window, providing a perch with a view, may divert some attention from the counters.
Make sure that your counters never have food items lying around on them. Always clean up properly by putting unused food away. A cat that finds morsels of food once in a while will keep looking for more for many moons.
Make counters unattractive. Cats, generally, do not like the smell of citrus or disinfectants. Try using a countertop cleaner with a citrus odor or wash the countertops down with Pinesol® after use.
Train your cat - preferably using "click and treat" methodology. Train your cat to jump down to the cue word "off." First train the cat to touch a wand (touch-click-food reward) that later serves as a target. When the wand is positioned over the counter, the cat will have to jump up on the counter to touch the wand and get the click and treat. (You can't teach a cat to jump off unless she is up in the fist place!). The wand is then lowered to floor level. The cat jumps down to touch it (click-treat). Finally the word "off" is interjected as the wand is lowered to the floor. Of course, you do not always need to use the wand once the behavior (jumping down) has been put "on cue." But rewards are necessary from time to time if the cat is to stay trained.
Booby traps/mild punishers. Various booby traps have been invented to deter cats from counter surfing. Some of these deterrents include: putting cling film over the countertop, making a shallow tray out of aluminum foil and filling it with water, various springing devices (upside-down mousetraps or proprietary plastic jumping frogs), or attaching a black thread "trip wire" across the access to the counter and attaching it to a nearby pile of shake cans.
More severe punishers. Sounding an air horn (boat horn/fog horn) at exactly the moment the cat's feet touch the countertop. You should hide when doing this. The idea is that the cat thinks that the counter made the noise, not you. Some people have resorted to electric shock pads that give the cat a mild shock when he jumps on the counter tough these can cause considerable distress to some cats.
The only alternative is to teach yourself not to worry so much about your cat being up on the counters. This is the cognitive approach to therapy – for you.
My cats free range across my countertops while I'm watching them because they know I don't care. I could yell at them and chase them off, as many people do, but why bother? All you teach your cat by this approach is that you are unpredictable, mentally unstable, and should be watched carefully for signs of sudden behavioral meltdowns. Then, when you're not around, your cat will cruise and patrol the counters as if nothing had changed. The only thing punishment teaches an animal is how to avoid the punisher ... you. With the remote punishers, the situation's a little more acceptable in the sense that it's the counter that they avoid.
What are some of the easiest and most effective ways to be eco-friendly?
I want to help the environment, and I don't feel I'm sufficiently informed. Help?
There are many ways to be Eco friendly it just depends on how much time and money you want to invest. Now some of the easiest ways an individual can start is by first NEVER littering, another is keep your car tuned up and recycle what ever you can.including used oil from your oil change.
Use organic pesticides or introduce the natural enemy of a pest into your gardens and flower beds don't use commercial pesticides which end up in the water table you or someone else will drink from.
Never burn anything other than wood or paper products in your bon fires and home fires.
Use a brick or two in your toilet tank to conserve water.
One that really gets me mad is to see someone throw trash and especially lit cigarettes out their windows of their cars.
If you go hiking pack your trash back out from your camping or hiking and dispose of it in trash cans or dumpsters.
DO NOT BUY SMALL FLORESCENT LIGHT BULBS! By LED lightbulbs because the mercury in the small twisted florescent bulbs will end up in the land fill even though they are being pushed on you by the media and advertising saying it saves energy, but it pollutes the land and water later down the road and besides LEDs use even less energy than florescence.
Use manual can openers instead of electric one's in fact if you can do it by hand don't use an electric version of what ever tool you may use.
Then there's the old if you turned it on turn it off, or if you opened it close it, if you raised it lower it, if you used it up replace it. If you can think of it do it.
Use water wisely. Water your plants and garden in the evenings or mornings. Mulch your land waste from leaves and small branches to help your gardens.
Then buy solar generators which can power most of your house without being on the grid and using oil.
Ride a bike if you can instead of driving and make those driving trips count when you go out by doing multiple things in one trip.
Also watch "the great global warming swindle" on Google for free and view some real science that doesn't involve Al Gore's folklore which by the way is totally debunked in this film.
Do not fall for the ol' carbon footprint crap because that's just an elite agenda meant to tax you for breathing and expelling what the plants need to live so they can return to us oxygen that we breath, And the worst offenders like China won't pay a dime in taxes so there is really no benefit to the planet but rather to the globalist wallets.
Remember global warming is a natural cycle controlled by the sun which is much more in control of our weather than we could ever be. Polar caps are melting on the moons of Mars and other planets without any SUV'S being there. It's the sun!
Man is not the enemy of this planet he's just ignorant of how to properly exist along side nature. We need to return to the science of nature not the science of politics.
How do you live life to the fullest if you are significantly constrained by your financial situation?
I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas?
Living life to the fullest in our modern day society appears to be linked to finances.
But the TRUE meaning of life is not found in those green bit of paper, you know...
Living life consciously and with intent and purpose is the TRUE fullfillment.
Sound like an advert for a cult, so I do.
What I mean is that the simple pleasures of life are those which, often, fullfill us more than those we pay for.
Take the full moon the other night- watching it while driving home after a nice day having a cheap lunch with my friend and window shopping rounded off a perfect day in a perfect way. Had I spent money (have had an addiction to spending already- not nice) and just bought loads of stuff I'd not have had nearly as nice a time! I would have felt the adreniline for a moment and then crashed.
So, yes, cheap and cheerful and FREE pleasures can make life very fullfilling indeed.
Appreciation for nature (and doing something for it can even save you money!), art and socialisation are cheap and rewarding ways to "better" your life.
Get out more. Enjoy the trees, the snow, the wind. Go to galleries and museums and appreciate the beauty you see.
READ. Reading books can teach. LEARNING is a brilliant way of reaching fullfillment.
Socialise. Join real life groups for stuff like dance, poetry, philosophy, politics (hehe- I get great fullfillment wishing I were world leader and teach our lot a lesson or two!) to challenge yourself.
Art- ooooh! It is a lovely fullfilling thing. Go to galleries, museums and exhibitions. Go to the movies and see challenging, thought provoking films!
And remember- few things are as fullfilling as being a good person. Volunteering at your local charitable organisations is a good thing. I am a parent- THAT is a WONDERFULLY fullfilling occupation. And I work in my vocation- designing environmentally friendly lifestyle accessories. OK- it is my own company so it is doubly "satisfying".
Where can I watch films online free?

Is it right for religious people to be worried about porn becoming more violent?
I heard this briefly mentioned on the radio the other day and I’m not sure if I’ve got all the details correct. But it seems that some religious person, probably a Catholic, spent some time studying available porn and was worried about the trend of porn becoming more violent. Is this really happening? Was porn in the 70’s more peaceful than today’s porn?
Porn in the 1970s was in movie theaters Desiree. Often at drive-ins. If you deployed to Vietnam in the late 1960s, when you got back, there were suddenly these ratings on movies: G, PG, R, X. The last one was for porn. R movies had some sex, but not graphic penetration scenes on a 50-foot-long screen. Soldiers were amazed. Never underestimate how low Americans will stoop to make a buck.
Society looked the other way because hedonistic love was an even higher form of love than the hippies mythologically practiced in their cultish communes. The 1970s were great, don't get me wrong. But you have to realize the context (AGAIN) before you look at the event. There were no videocassettes -- do you remember VHS and Betamax? Porn fueled that technology. No one thought it would take off. Today we have Netflix DVDs and buck rental Redbox vids. The Japanese consumer electronics business was built on rock 'n' roll, but it skyrocketed with porn. You no longer go down to the bijou to sit in a theatre and watch Marilyn Chambers dress up like a chambermaid and play find the cobra with Jack Holmes. Debbie does everything today, anytime anywhere. I remember when I learned about these free porn sites on Foxnews a couple of years ago and finally realized what the nephew was referring to when he talked about porn. It's available two clicks from your screen in ways we never dreamed of in the 1970s. Back then, having a Playboy magazine in your mattress was a big deal. Mature men kept them in the bathroom. We were big time by golly. Free of repression.
Sadomasochism, punk rock, bondage, cocaine, Judas Priest heavy metal, gang bangees and snuff films became more widespread in the 1980s it seems. Today, it is just another market segment. Violent porn has been around, but it is more prevalent and more available because people have not heeded the message of the Catholic Church. The industry -- while suffering from the pirate DVD trend -- is still producing. There are enough people looking for personal gratification to support porn AND Bible thumping. Even religious people are hedonists, and religion is their drug, not coca leaf, a vicarious double life or deviant sex. The gay pride movement has made hedonistic sex even more acceptable. Abortion -- don't get me started. All of these things are temporary movements. AIDS was a huge scare in the early 1980s. It was bizarre. But porn flourished even while the actors died left and right of the disease that rocked the fashion and entertainment industries. Funny, you didn't have very many priests dying of AIDS, but a few did. Psychology may one day provide answers, but it is a new science that is still working itself out. Quantum physics probably holds the key, but that may be another moon in Galileo's telescope. Reason never works as well as simple faith, and we need more of that than ever.
Religious people, that is people who sacrifice for the Church (priests sacrifice earning money, having their own family, vast amounts of private time), have an obligation to speak out against events that obvioiusly put their fellow man's faith in peril. The truest love for you fellow man is to want them to get to heaven and to do everything in your puny power to help that happen. Porn can be very disgusting if you look at it with mature, critical eyes. If you've ever known anyone in the business or seen a porno filmed or been friends with a porn star, believe me, you realize just how fake it is. Fluff girls, penis pumps, Viagra, tape editing, lube, sound engineering, asynchronous scene framing.... all of these tricks of the trade make sex a cartoonish scene that is mimicked on these amateur sites without all the props. So porn has become a sport where individuals now attempt to replicate the fantasy world sex scenes they've so vigorously enjoyed on DVD or the net. It is only appealing to the immature or those who adopt an immature mindset to achieve some temporary emotional surge. If you are a grown up, or sexually mature, you know the transitory nature of sexual pleasure. As a woman, you're in gender culture that has used sex for centuries as a bargaining chip, and that's no different even today. Sex becomes the partner or husband's reward. When all we guys want is a beer, ESPN 1 and 2 on separate HDTV screens and chips. ......lol just kidding..... Ignoring the woman in your life is often what leads them to stoop to sex reward/refusal as a tactic. Men need to follow women on many issues, and I do believe most women wish porn was nonexistent. The porn industry would not exist without women willing to demean themselves, trust me. The gay porn biz would not be a big deal; there is no volume in that. At some point, the knowledge that hedonistic sex is transitory makes it extremely unfulfilling. At that point, you're growing up young'n. Keep the faith. We need you in the Catholic Church.
What is a good (and free) website to watch movies?
i'm looking for a free website that doesn't want me to fill out any surveys or that junk. I want all types of films ranging from Dracula to Thirteen (I realllly wanna watch that) and even new stuff like 2012 or New Moon. please just post a link, dankeee
I've seen dozens of working links online to both New Moon and 2012, too bad so many of them are crap quality. If you check out http://www.GRAB0lD.com , they add better copies as they become available. As soon as somebody sneaks a copy of the projection DVD out of the booth, Graboid should have it.
Just don't use a torrent, you can be sure they will be logging IP addresses from all New Moon torrents.
Where can I find good Asian drama romance TV shows?
What kind of Asian Drama shows can I watch that are like these?

The Devil Beside you
Why Why Love
Hello My Lady
Sorry for any bad spelling!
You asked 2 questions. As for where you can find good Asian drama romance and TV shows:
- http://dramafever.com - I'm not sure whether you can get dramafever.com in Australia, but that is an excellent website. A basic website is free and if you subscribe to one, the site will keep up with everything you have watched and let you go back to the exact spot in any episode where you last left off. You can also see other subscribers ratings of shows and you can sort shows by genre. The majority of the shows and dramas on this site are Korean. It has numerous other cool features, as well.
- http://mysoju.com - great for finding dramas from different countries. It has some really good Japanese dramas and movies, which are a plus because Japanese dramas have less episodes than Korean ones
- http://dramasub.com - comes out with eps quickly, and often the subbed eps show up in no time
- http://viikii.net - can be tedious to deal with at times, but is a faithful supplier to other sites
- http://todou.com - this site is great because a lot of times you can see an entire episode as 1 file here
- http://youtube.com - lots and lost of movies and dramas are on the tube.
- http://veoh.com - This is where I found Hana Yori Dango
- http://wiki.d-addicts.com - great place to read a synopsis of a drama, review its official tv ratings, find out who the entire cast is and review actors' and actresses' backgrounds. You can also download unsubbed files, find out what dramas will be coming out in the future and when and in which countries. Several other sites pull their synopsis from this site.
- http://asianmediawiki.com - I recently discovered this site and I love it. It has some of the features of wiki.d-addicts, but it also shows past, present and future Asian movies and has trailers. It also allows members to submit reviews on movies, dramas and actors.
Now for what to watch. If you want to see some dramas partially filmed in Australia the watch:
- Creating Destiny (Korean) - The interesting thing about this one is that it shows some of the dating differences a couple run into b/c the guy is raised in Korea and the girl was raised mostly in Australia.
- One Fine Day (Korean) - It has its moments, but I wouldn't rate it as a 5.
- Sorry I Love You (Korean) - I tried to watch it but couldn't sit through it.
As for Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu, Diamond Girl and Attention Please, I have not watched them but I went to wiki.d-addicts and searched on Australia.
As for absolute must-see dramas, here are my picks (I rated these as 5's on a scale of 1 to 5):
- Mischievous Kiss/ (called Playful Kiss on dramafever) this is funny and lighthearted. I don't rate it a 5, but I listed it because I make reference to it below.
- Goong (Comedy, Romance) if you liked Playful Kiss then you will love Goong.
- We Got Married Season 1 (Reality Show, Romance) this is the only thing on my list that I rated as 5+. I don't think I've ever laughed this much. I've seen bits of Season 2, but Season 1 was so good that I know I will absolutely watch it again
- Painter of the Wind (Historical, Romance, Gender Bender) I have a thing for historical dramas and Moon Geun Young did a great job in her role
- IRIS (Action, Romance) I didn't believe the hype and stayed away from this for a long time. When I finally gave in and watched it I was glad that I did
- Chuno (Action, Romance, Historical) Every time I think of this drama I want to watch it again
- Sungkyunkwan Scandal (Historical, Romance) The last ep comes out today. My Korean is great, but I watch this one without the subs as soon as its online so that I can find out what's going to happen next. Yes, it is THAT good!
Japanese (are typically 12 episodes or less)
- Boku to Kanojo to Kanojo no Ikiru Michi (Melodrama) this is a heart warming story. No one dies, which is a plus for me,
- Kaikyou o Wataru Violin (Melodrama) this one is a true story and only 2 or 3 eps.
- Koizora (Melodrama, Romance) you can watch the movie or the drama of this. They are both equally good. The drama is just more info, of course, and the characters are different in each.
- Shokojo Seira (A little of everything) A Little Princess is one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid and this version was an excellent rendition. Even my mom watched this and was glued to the screen
- Last Friends (Romance, Melodrama) I saw that someone else recommended this on Y!A to someone so I checked it out. I am glad I did.
- Majou no Jouken (Romance, Melodrama) Not quite rated as a 5, but it is definitely a must-see.
I have a few more 5's on my list, but this is a good start.

anything with large scale battles using swords.
Pan's Labyrinth here's the plot for the movie:
The film opens with a fairy tale. In it, Princess Moanna, whose father is the king of the underworld, becomes curious about the world above. When she goes to the surface, the sunlight blinds her and erases her memory. She becomes very ill and eventually dies. The king believes that her spirit will come back to the underworld someday.
The story cuts to post-Civil War Spain in 1944, after Francisco Franco has come into power. Ofelia, a young girl who loves fairy tales, travels with her pregnant mother Carmen to meet Captain Vidal, her new stepfather and father of Carmen's unborn child. Vidal, the son of a famed commander who died in Morocco, believes strongly in fascism and was assigned to root out any anti-fascist rebels.
Ofelia discovers a large insect resembling a stick insect which she believes to be a fairy. It follows her to the mill where Vidal is stationed and leads Ofelia into an ancient labyrinth nearby. Before Ofelia can enter, she is stopped by Mercedes, one of Vidal's maids who is spying for the rebels. That night, the insect appears in Ofelia's bedroom, where it changes into a fairy and leads her through the labyrinth. There, she meets the faun, who believes her to be Princess Moanna and gives her three tasks to complete before the full moon to ensure that her "essence is intact". Meanwhile, Vidal's cruel and sociopathic nature is revealed when he brutally murders two individuals who had been detained on suspicion of being rebel allies and who may merely have been farmers.
Ofelia completes the first task of retrieving a key from the belly of a giant toad, but she becomes worried about her mother whose condition is worsening. The faun gives Ofelia a mandrake root, which instantly begins to cure her mother's illness.
Accompanied by three fairy guides, Ofelia then completes the second task of retrieving an ornate dagger from the lair of the Pale Man, a child-eating monster who sits silently in front of a large feast. Although she was gravely warned not to consume anything, she eats two grapes, awakening him. He eats two of the fairies and chases her, but she manages to escape. Infuriated at her disobedience, the faun refuses to give her the third task.
Meanwhile, Vidal becomes increasingly vicious, torturing a captured rebel and then killing the doctor who euthanized the tortured prisoner to stop his pain. Vidal catches Ofelia tending to the mandrake root, and Carmen throws it into the fireplace, where it then begins to writhe and scream in agony. Instantly, Carmen develops painful contractions and dies giving birth to a son. Vidal discovers that Mercedes is a spy, and he captures her and Ofelia as they attempt to escape. Ofelia is locked in her bedroom, and Mercedes is taken to be tortured; however, she frees herself, badly injures Vidal, and flees into the woods, where the rebels rescue her.
The faun returns to Ofelia and gives her one more chance to prove herself. He tells her to take her baby brother into the labyrinth. Ofelia steals the baby after sedating Vidal; although disoriented, Vidal continues to chase her through the labyrinth while the rebels attack the mill. The faun tells Ofelia that the portal to the underworld will open only with an innocent's blood, so he needs a drop of her brother's blood. Ofelia refuses to harm her brother, and eventually Vidal finds her, seemingly talking to herself as the faun is not visible through his eyes. The faun leaves Ofelia to her choice, and Vidal takes the baby away from her, shooting her immediately after.
When he leaves the labyrinth the rebels and Mercedes are waiting for him. Knowing that he will die, he calmly hands Mercedes the baby. Vidal takes out his watch, and tells Mercedes to tell his son the exact time of his fathers' death. Mercedes interrupts, telling him that his son will never even know his name. Pedro, one of the rebels and Mercedes' brother, draws his pistol and shoots Vidal in the right cheek, killing him.
As Mercedes enters the labyrinth and comforts the dying girl, drops of Ofelia's blood spill onto the altar that is supposed to lead her into the underworld. Ofelia is reunited with the king and queen of the underworld. The faun is present too, and the king reveals to her that by shedding her own blood instead of the blood of an innocent, she has completed the final task and proven herself to be Princess Moanna. In the mortal world, Ofelia dies and Mercedes mourns her death. In an epilogue, a narration dictates that Princess Moanna ruled the underworld with a just and kind heart, but left behind "small traces of her time on earth, visible only to those who know where to look."
What is your favorite Pink Floyd album?
Feel free to list multiple favorites. I won't say mine till the end.
My top five. Sorry, The Wall is a fantastic, epic album, but I can't resist the purety, the clarity and the absolutely perfect, pristine sound on the first two. My inner music critic says, "The Wall is the best", but the pleasure center of my brain says, "let's listen to the pretty ones first".
Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You Were Here
Meddle (Echoes tranports me to other worlds)
A Momentary Lapse of Reason (It proved there was still life after the mad genius, Waters left)
Animals and Umma Gumma come in off the bench. Animals gets playing time if I am in a dark or pissed off mood. Umma Gumma gets in the game when..... Oh damn it! That's right, I forgot, I don't do that anymore. Oh well, it's still a good album.
I remember spending the night at my friend's house, 13 years old, On the spur of the moment, we went to the midnight movies to watch the film, Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii (1972). Seeing those guys playing in the ruins of Pompei, hearing them on a great new sound system in a darkened theater. By the end of month, we convinced all of our friends to go see it. I must've seen it six times. I've loved them ever since.

Whats the name of this werewolf movie?
The movie starts with the birds-eye view of alot trees like the woods or sumthing during day light. Its about a house with a mother & a son only, I think. Also, I remember a part where the guy chains himself in da woods so when full moon comes he wont kill anybody. I really dont remember much, because I seen it a while back when I was a child. Thanks for the help! I appreciate it!
Bad Moon (1996)
starring Michael Pare, Mariel Hemingway, Mason Gamble, Primo as Thor (amazing animal!)
The film is about one man's struggle to contain the curse he hides within and his last-ditch attempt to free himself with the love of his family. When it looks as if he is losing his battle and endangering all he holds most dear, the family dog, Thor, is the last hope for his family's survival and the end to the curse. // NOTE: He does chain himself to a tree in the woods in an effort to keep from killing again.
Here's Part 1 on YouTube:
Why does everyone hate Twilight and Justin Bieber so much?
Not, "Just cuz they suck" but why? Or if you love them, why?
WTF Granger? I didn't say I was bothered. I was just curious. Why the hell did you even answer this question anyway. Your answer was just a waste of space.
Because both are not deserving for the popularity they are given.
For the past two years (and without a doubt the next two) the movies have been nominated in nearly every category at the MTV Movie Awards, and winning every one of them. Because MTV doesn't monitor IP addresses and allows people to vote multiple times, New Moon beat out Alice in Wonderland and Avatar (both of which grossed over a billion dollars), The Hangover (the highest grossing comedy ever which, like Avatar, won Best Picture at the Golden Globes), and Half-Blood Prince. Got even worse in 2010, when Eclipse beat Inception Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Black Swan and The Social Network in categories like Best Film, Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance, and Best Fight (Yes, the films with wizards blowing up a restaurant with spells and two guys fighting in a rotating hall got beaten by vampires)
But there’s more reasons to why Twilight is so hated-
Edward and Bella's relationship as twisted, controlling and abusive due to things like Edward breaking into Bella's home, watching her sleep, stealing her belongings, breaking her truck so she can't see other people, putting her under house arrest, threatening, talking down to and manipulating her. Not to mention when he leaves her in New Moon–he (seemingly) wipes all traces of himself in her house, including photographs she took of him, and with zero emotion or pain whatsoever tells Bella he doesn't love her anymore.
Bella has Borderline Personality Disorder, she has very variable moods, black and white thinking, idealization (like when she describes vampires and especially Edward)), unstable interpersonal relationships (Edward or Jacob), unstable self-image (she describes herself plan but it doesn't seem like it), no identity of her own, very insecure (that's actually what causes the "plot"), she's suicidal etc. Also, Bella is a selfish, heartless sociopath who has zero empathy for anybody else. Jacob is content to let Bella use him and manipulate him into doing things for her while getting nothing in return because he's nursing the vain hope that Bella will eventually forget Edward and fall in love with him.
Yet so many girls just squeal over how cute Edward is and that Twilight really interesting..... I have read Fanfic for FREE and they’re more orginal than Twilight. Also if you look through a cliche Shojo Manga, the similarities between the Genre and Twilight are cannot be ignored.
As for Beiber, Teen girls make him more popular than he should be. Go to YouTube search "Baby" and haters will tell you it's annoying as "Friday" By Rebecca Black.

All Morioka Kohei wants to be a regular photographer, but all he ever seems to capture on film is ghosts! With 70 percent of his photos inhabited by the undead, Kohei has managed to gain not only a reputation, but also a job at an occult magazine. Things couldn't be more "normal" until he is sent to a obscure castle where he photographs a mysterious girl with a knack at disappearing, thus piquing his interest to return. And thus, Kohei sets out on a journey that takes him into the heart of the occult, on a mission to help the cutest vampire in existence find her long lost mother!
The story is about the relationship between freelance photographer Kouhei Morioka and Hazuki, a teenager who descends from a royal vampire lineage. At the beginning of the story, Kouhei travels to a castle in Germany to take photographs of paranormal phenomena for his friend Hiromi, who is the editor of an occult magazine. At the castle, Kouhei meets Hazuki, who feeds on Kouhei's blood and claims him as her unwilling servant. Although this "blood pact" is supposed to bind Kouhei to Hazuki as her obedient slave, her act has no effect on Kouhei. Following an action-packed sorcerers' battle in which Kouhei and his cousin manage to free Hazuki from her captivity in the dreary castle, Hazuki travels to Tokyo, and takes up residence with Kouhei in his grandfather's house in Japan. Hazuki claims that, because she fed on his blood, Kouhei is now her servant, but Kouhei continually refuses to obey her, especially when he thinks her requests are unreasonable. Despite their fighting, the relationship between the duo progresses over time - even in the face of repeated attacks by opposing vampires - until Kouhei becomes determined to protect Hazuki from the vampire servants of her family, who are determined to retrieve her by whatever means necessary.

Do love triangles and serious history movies mix? I do not think so. What are your thoughts?
I would like to know what you history buff thoughts are on History movies, that take themselves seriously and they add love triangles. Does this mix? I just finished watching the movie: Enemy at the Gates and found myself frustrated and disappointed. The first 30 minutes I was saying to myself, I am buying this movie and by the time I was half way through it I was fast-forwarding the DVD player (and glad I did not buy it) to get through the love story. They did the very same thing with the movie, Pearl Harbor and it distracts from the seriousness of the history content of the movie. Lets look at some other great classic war movies as well: Patton, Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Apocalypse Now (this movie had Playboy bunnies but no love triangle), Full Metal Jacket, Dirty Dozen, The Deer Hunter, The Bridge over the River Kwai, all these classics had no love triangle and most of them won academy awards.
My question is, am I the only one that finds annoyance in this?
Edit update: The reason I wanted to point out those other war movies with no love triangles is they were for the most part, hits. That point being made, Hollywood does not need to add the love story to make the war movie a hit. Jack if it is only about demographics then why were the other movies I mentioned with no love triangles hits? Personally, I think it is a few (not all thank goodness) miss-guided studios that think they must have a love story to make a war movie work. For example, one could argue that Dr. Zhivago is a war movie with a love triangle but lets face it we all knew that it was a love story when we went to see it. By using Dr. Zhivago the movie industry should see that there could be a clear dividing line between love stories and a good historical war movie. Personally, I have enjoyed a few good love story movies and I understand the need for telling them, however, not when you are telling an important part of history as it distracts form the story.
Serving Jesus, I totally disagree with you. You do not need a love story to show that we need to make the characters more real. Could you image the loss of respect movies like Patton, Platoon, Saving Privet Ryan would have had to endured if the directors had decided to put in a love story right in the middle of those movies. These three movies are major academy award winners and speak for themselves. Enemy at the Gates was another one of those war movies that had no business getting a love story thrown in right in the middle of the story. It was as if the director threw the love story in to slow down the pace and that ended up making the movie to long. Ron Pearlman saved the movie with his performance for about 10 minutes then he was shoot and we where right back to the love slop again. What a disappointment.
EDIT PER ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
You ask a good follow-up. The fact is, all of the movies you point out (but one) were made 30 to 40 years ago when a totally different demographic was in play. Look at your list -- the only modern film you have in there is Pvt. Ryan, and that's easy to explain -- Steven Spielberg. When your name is Spielberg you get to write your own ticket -- remember, the guy has his own studio "Dreamworks."
But in general, it has to be said, yeah, of course, every once in a blue moon Hollywood will produce a genuinely historical drama and leave out the sentimentality -- but those films are very rare. So when I speak of the power of demograhics, The best I can do is make a general statement about the way most people behave most of the time. Obviously there are going to be exceptions that pop up from time to time; but as you well know, the trend isn't toward greater accuracy, but to taking greater liberties with the subject matter.
I haven't seen the film yet, but there's a new film coming out about the "Zodiac Killer." And from what I've read, the real meat of this film doesn't deal with the murders or even the killer, but with the marital problems of the reporter focusing on this case. Go figure!
And also -- please note -- when I say these things, I'm not disagreeing with you. I actually DO agree. I think there always has been, and always will be a big market for quality, historically accurate films that have the confidence in their material to tell a story without adding any romantic fluff. But I don't work in Hollywood.
Unfortunately, the people who work out there are slaves to the demographics, and because of the great cost of making films, tend not to want to rock the boat. There can be no doubt but that the powers-that-be out there continually underestimate the intelligence and taste of movie goers. So they continually go with "Formula Plots." And whether you and I like it, "romance" is now considered an integral part of the formula.
P.S. As I said above, most of the films you mentioned were made 30 to 40 years ago. Did you notice that that's when the C&W singers I mentioned were all doing their thing as well. The demographics back then were different for everything.
I know what you mean, I payed good money to see "Pearl Harbor," and was so turned off by the gushing sentimentality that I walked out halfway through the thing. Honestly, I did. The same with "Titanic," a certified piece of god-awful dreck that girls of all ages turned into a box-office bonanza.
As one who knows something about the science of demographics, I can tell you for sure, it's all driven by statistical analysis.
Many aspects of the entertainment world are driven by demography, and nothing more so than movies. Detailed analysis of consumer tendencies reveals that the biggest determiners of movies are teenage boys and women. Slasher films, and ridiculous pseudo-historical monstronsities like "300" are made for teenage boys, and a great deal of the rest of films are made because of women.
Outside of the lucrative "Teen Market," the boyfriend or husband defers to the woman's choice of what films to see. This gives women a disproportionate power in what kinds of films get made. And as a previous answerer stated, most (but by no means all) women are turned off by straight historical film-making.
You didn't ask this, but I'll throw it out for free anyway. The same phenomenon is true in Country music. Many years ago, I used to be a fan of Country Music. These were the days of Kristofferson, Cash, Paycheck, Jennings, Haggard and Jones.
At THAT time, Country Music used to be known as "White Soul," and it was a period when men were the majority listeners. But NOW, women make up the majority listeners to C & W, and you can hear it in the cheap, sentimental, smarmy crap that gets that put out by singers today.
There was a time when Country was biting, and cutting edge; and now it's about love-sick cow-pokes moaning about how much they love and miss their wives. Sorry to seem so misogynistic, but I hate to see a great art form ruined.
I'm sure your answerers will give me pleanty of "thumbs downs" for this, but the "Feminization" of the arts (movies included) makes me sick.
In any event -- cheers, mate.
Isn't it the best when you see a movie you anticipated to be JUST NOT FOR YOU, only to end up enjoying it?
With a title like Eat Pray Love
I thought it would be either
Turns out it is fun, sweet, balanced and gently profound.
So, yay to them! (yes, I'll watch it again sometime.)
Having grown up in the Fifties, I've never judged movies by their titles (for example: "I Married a Monster from Outer Space" is much better than anyone might guess). But, I've heard of movies or the avid praise for them and expected to not like them. Films that surprised me, several of which I was *figuratively dragged to the theater* to see, are:
*One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Unconditional Love (2002)
A.I. Artificial Intelligence
*All the President's Men
All are on my list of favorites!
I must note that my younger sister was the one who dragged me to those three movies. On the other hand, she was grateful that I dragged her to "Tommy", "The Little Prince" and "Butterflies Are Free".
Where can i watch New Moon online free?
NO VIRUS' PLEASE.
Also, what other movies or TV shows are interesting? no horror pls. ^_^ long night ahead for me.
the quality for the newer films are crap, but they have a huge variety of movies & tv shows.
How was your first same-sex experience? How did you feel afterwards?
Well for me I felt like it felt right.I didnt feel like it was wrong or like I felt guilty. And I was obviously nervous lol I would like to hear your story keep it PG jk
experience as in sex or just any kind of experience? i kissed a girl when i was around 6 at summer day camp. we met up i the bathroom and kissed over and over during nap time. then we got caught. :
as far sex...i was in high school. yeah okay PG...
i felt like i had just discovered an entirely different universe from what i had known up to that point and i wanted to go back as soon as possible!!
i was only a little nervous but not too much. it wasnt like my first time with a guy. i mean both times i did it because i really wanted to have a new experience and i wasnt necessarily in love with either of them. i really liked both of them and i felt a connection with both. the first time with a guy was way too quick in comparison ( i mean the dynamics are a bit different of course lol) and there was a bit of blood and afterward i just kind of had this feeling that i had done what i wanted to do. more of a "mission accomplished" feeling and not so much "i really enjoyed that" feeling at all.
it was perfect with my first time with a girl because my parents went out of town for three days to celebrate their anniversary- kind of like a mini second honey moon. we actually planned on doing it before then but i convinced her that this would be much better! i had the house to myself for three whole days so i invited her to come over and stay. i think there was something so cool about being able to walk around my parents house with the beautiful funny smart girl that i really cared about kissing her and dancing with her just as if we were free and open and living on our own. so we did the whole candle light thing. no music. we waited until around midnight/early morning and it was so perfect...until we tried the strap on. lol
i ordered this strap on online because i saw one being used in a porno. XD that didnt go too well the first time around...it was really awkward and kind of impersonal like a barrier between us plus we hadnt used one before so neither of us knew what to do. plus we had no lube or anything! it was like a scene from a comedy film. that part was a disaster lol so once we ditched the strap on and we started over it was great. though we didnt just jump into it. we decided to wait until the next night and set up everything the exact same way but just do it naturally. we went out to eat first, came home and had a snack and watched some tv and we laid in bed talking for a while getting more and more relaxed and then it just happened naturally. it was amazing and we just connected so well. again the fact that i was alone at home pretty much made it that much more amazing. we cuddled after and just laid in bed. then we did it again during the day. lol very intimate and ideal. i never told my parents even after i just recently came out to them (im in college). i kind of feel like that is something secret from them that they dont deserve to know because they would kind of try to impose their beliefs on it and take away from how important it was to me. they wouldnt try to understand it.
i have never really been ashamed about my sexuality even when people try to make me feel that way. sexuality is something beautiful and sex is a way of connecting on different levels - something raw and primal or spiritual and intense. its all good and not wrong at all.
now that you know my life story ill be going...lol
Where did the term, "Brother sun, sister moon," come from?
Sounds Pagan, but I just heard a Christian minister say it.
Francesco Bernardone (Graham Faulkner) comes back home to Assisi in 1200 A.D. nervously exhausted by the wars. His well-to-do parents are quick to assure the townspeople that he is not a coward. The young man languishes in bed with nightmares of battle while his loving mother pampers him. His father, a brutish merchant obsessed with success, cannot understand his son's malady.
One day, Francesco alights from his bed at the chirping of a small bird. He follows a ray of sunshine to the balcony and then walks across the roof to fetch the bird. It is the beginning of his awakening to a new life. He spends days in the lush fields near Assisi. Claire (Judi Bowker), a pretty young neighbor, tells him that the villagers think he's berserk — after all, he loves flowers, chases butterflies, and sings like a bird. When he went off to war, he was judged sane and bright.
In the Roman Catholic church, the wealthy sit jewel-bedecked and passive while the poor are huddled in the rear of the church. During the Mass, Francesco sees the eyes of the kingly Christ on the altar cross open. He screams "No!" and is removed from the church. Later when he flings his father's silks and fine clothes to the poor of the streets, he is beaten and taken before the Bishop. There, in front of the authorities and the poor, Francesco makes his break with family and wealthy community. Quoting John 3:6 — "that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" — he takes off his clothes, giving them to his weeping father, and tells him that there are no more fathers, no more sons. He will become a beggar like Christ and seek happiness and peace of mind. He will be as free as the creatures of the earth.
Francesco's retreat is the beginning of a life of self-sacrifice. His friends eventually gather around him, and together they restore a ruined chapel in the fields near the city. There the poor, the physically scarred, and the weak find a home. Francesco and his community of brothers beg for food to survive and worship the Christ on the cross who died with his eyes open, a poor man. The simple folk come by droves to the community. But their church is burned by the Bishop in hopes that Francesco and his followers will be reconciled to the city. Instead, he goes to Rome to obtain a meeting with Pope Innocent III (Alec Guinness). Francesco is blessed and told that he puts the rich holy men to shame. He returns to Assisi renewed.
Franco Zeffirelli, Suso Cecchi D'Amico, Kenneth Ross, and Lina Wertmuller co-authored the screenplay with some fictionalizations added to the true story of St. Francis of Assisi. Brother Sun, Sister Moon is a gorgeous piece of filmmaking with opulent outdoor photography and stunning views of Assisi, the towers of San Gimignamo, and Monreale's great basilica. The folk songs — written and sung by Donovan — give the film its parabolic beauty and emotional impact. The fresh good looks and remarkably sensitive acting by Graham Faulkner and Judi Bowker (who joins Francesco and his brothers) most likely will draw many young people into this very touching account of the early life of St. Francis.
Can you write an amusing story using as many of these old movie titles as possible?
These were are filmed from 1947 to 1976 and all have a common factor. Can you also name it?
1. The Farmer's Daughter
2. Man From Texas
3. Roses Are Red
4. Two Lost Worlds
5. Stars In My Crown
6. Iron Man
8. Islands In The Sky
9. Many Rivers To Cross
10. The Lone Ranger
11. The Macahans
12. Big Jim McLain
Mary Lou Maynard, the farmers daughter, had decided to break free from her father's tyranny and get a job away from home! She felt her current existence was between two lost worlds and had dreams of Islands in the sky!
At 19 years old all she had ever done was work on her dad's farm and in the past year go on a few "supervised" dates with Big Jim McClain, the strapping cowboy from the neighboring Mclain Farm. She wanted more!
Although she enjoyed Big Jim's attentions, she hankered to see what the world outside had to offer!
As luck would have it the new Iron Man Bar and Grill had advertised for a bartender and Mary Lou had applied for and gotten the job!
When the Macahans brothers, who owned the bar, had seen her walking in they had nearly dropped dead at their good fortune!!
Mary Lou was GORGEOUS!!!
Counting their blessings they hired her on the spot!
As they expected Mary Lou was a BIG draw!
Within a week business had tripled and the bar was filled with cowboys vying for the attentions of the heart-breakingly beautiful Mary Lou.
One man in particular, a man from Texas, named Hondo Honcho was truly smitten!
Night after night he sat at the bar in his big white cowboy hat mooning over the lovely lass.
This did NOT sit well with Big Jim McLain, who had also been spending every night at the bar watching the fools drool over HIS gal!!
One night things came to a head.
Hondo was semi-smashed and had written a poem for Mary Lou, which he recited at the bar:
"Roses are red, violets are blue
Can you give me a kiss
When your shift is through?"
Big Jim had heard it and not liked it a bit!!
"Well, well well...So the Lone Ranger is also a poet....sounds like you need to try out that sorry ass poetry on your horse"
Hondo was non-plussed by the barb and was in fact feeling very philosophical and non confrontational!
"I see you have many rivers to cross my friend before you can understand my gifts"
McLain was NOT amused!
"I'll cross your river RIGHT now!!"
He lunged for Hondo who deftly sidestepped him.
Big Jim wound up on the floor and Mary Lou was immediately at his side!
"I see stars in my crown" was all Big Jim could say!
Mary Lou scowled at Hondo.
"You're cut off!!"
She motioned to the bouncers who quickly removed Hondo.
As she ministered to Big Jim he laughed to himself thinking,
"One up for me, one down for the Lone Ranger!!!"

Where can I download Twilight Saga New Moon film free I tried limewire but it ended up being just twilight.?
No surveys, or extra downloads like limewire. I don't want to stream it, I just want to download it.
where can i download movies for free on my laptop?
i just wanna be able to download movies and watch them on my laptop:)
The Internet Archive - This is the motherlode for all kinds of free media (it's even got video games). The Archive has loads of old movies, foreign films, documentaries, and more. There's even a couple of movies about ice cream (hey, we just blog about this stuff -- we can't explain it either).
Emol - If comedy and cartoons are what you're after, Emol.org is the place to go. Here's where you'll find Charlie Chaplin, The Three Stooges, Bugs Bunny, and Popeye.
AngryAlien - Just because none of these sites are likely to have the latest box office blockbuster available, that doesn't mean you can't still watch Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, or Star Wars. In less than 30 seconds. Acted out by bunnies.
PublicDomainTorrents - Head here for B-movies "Like Attack of the Giant Leeches", "Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter" (wonder what that love child looks like?), and "Track of the Moon Beast". On the other hand, you'll also find "Night of the Living Dead" on this site -- so it's not all bad.
AtomFilms - There are some very creative films on this site made up of mostly user-created content. AtomFilms is a service of MTV Networks that serves up content to mobile phones and Web sites, but since they're partnered with Comedy Central and Spike TV there are a few gems on here if you poke around a bit.
Is there a movie character you can strongly identify with?
In some way or another... this question feels a tad cheesy... but a character you think you have a lot of common with or something. If not, is there a movie that you can really connect with?
Feel free to say something humorous, serious or sarcastic- whatever you feel like. I'm a bit bored, anyway.
BQ: Smashing Pumpkins or Nine Inch Nails?
BBQ: Unoriginal, I know but last 5 films you watched, and can you rate them out of 10?
"cheesy" you say... i like cheesy.
Well, here goes: I'm a John Cusack fan, i really connect with some (not all) of his characters he plays.
High Fidelity (2000) is one of my favorites from Cusack, not because of his story with multiple girlfriends because i have never been that 'lucky', but there is something about this particular film that i simply cant narrow it down to why. Basicly when i see him on screen i feel i am living it.
Music: anything that makes me feel good about my self.(sometimes its instrumental - like chill out mp3's )
Last 5 movies: (wow, the test of memory:)
something like this, from most recent..
Sky High (2005)
I would agree with 6.5 but Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in it, and that is how i found the movie, so i give it a Clear 7.5
Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
Dont allow people to discourage you from enjoying it, it is what it is -transformers-
Big Bang Theory, downloaded off the internet s501 & 502... funny but i hate the relationship stuff..
Horrible Bosses (2011)
I dont care, i say 9/10 a very funny movie (dark comedy) like pineapple express' and jason bateman rocks.
The Lake House (2006)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410297/ ....not sure yet..
also i would like to mention i have started to watch this tv show (downloaded)
its a blast.

russian science fiction film mid to late 2000s?
I saw a Russian science fiction film in either mid to late 2000s that was supposed to have a couple sequels. I saw something online about a film called 'Night Watch' but I don't think this is the film I saw. Has anyone else seen a Russian sci-fi film that came out in the states in the last 5 years which was supposed to be part of a trilogy?
First on the Moon - 2005. About a 1930's Soviet Landing on the Moon
The Inhabited Island - 2008. In 2157 the main character is a pilot of the Free Search Group.
Paragraph 78 - Future: soft drugs are legalized, countries such as the Asian Union and the Latin States of America appeared
Those are the one's that I found that could possibly fit.

And I think the New Moon film comes out in November 2009.
VIVA LA RAZA!
Did Neil armstrong really step on the moon..or was it another hoax like the UFO?
I dont believe he's really been on the moon or he was the first person to land on the moon.It was just the way NASA spread this false picture which was shot in the arizona desert to collect funds for research.
How can the flag be fluttering," the 47 year old American kept asking himself, "when there's no wind on the atmosphere free Moon?" That moment was to be the beginning of an incredible Space odyssey for the self-taught engineer from New Jersey. He started investigating the Apollo Moon landings, scouring every NASA film, photo and report with a growing sense of wonder, until finally reaching an awesome conclusion: America had never put a man on the Moon. The giant leap for mankind was fake.
It is of course the conspiracy theory to end all conspiracy theories. But Rene has now put all his findings into a startling book entitled NASA Mooned America. Published by himself, it's being sold by mail order - and is a compelling read.
The story lifts off in 1961 with Russia firing Yuri Gagarin into space, leaving a panicked America trailing in the space race.
At an emergency meeting of Congress, President Kennedy proposed the ultimate face saver, put a man on the Moon. With an impassioned speech he secured the plan an unbelievable 40 billion dollars. And so, says Rene (and a growing number of astro-physicists are beginning to agree with him), the great Moon hoax was born.
Between 1969 and 1972, seven Apollo ships headed to the Moon. Six claim to have made it, with the ill fated Apollo 13--whose oxygen tanks apparently exploded halfway--being the only casualties.
But with the exception of the known rocks, which could have been easily mocked up in a lab, the photographs and film footage are the only proof that the Eagle ever landed. And Rene believes they're fake. For a start, he says, the TV footage was hopeless. The world tuned in to watch what looked like two blurred white ghosts gambol threw rocks and dust. Part of the reason for the low quality was that, strangely, NASA provided no direct link up. So networks actually had to film "man's greatest achievement" from a TV screen in Houston--a deliberate ploy, says Rene, so that nobody could properly examine it.
By contrast, the still photos were stunning. Yet that's just the problem. The astronauts took thousands of pictures, each one perfectly exposed and sharply focused. Not one was badly composed or even blurred. As Rene points out, that's not all:
The cameras had no white meters or view finders. So the astronauts achieved this feet without being able to see what they were doing.
There film stock was unaffected by the intense peaks and powerful cosmic radiation on the Moon, conditions that should have made it useless.
They managed to adjust their cameras, change film and swap filters in pressurized clubs. It should have been almost impossible to bend their fingers. .
Award winning British photographer David Persey is convinced the pictures are fake. His astonishing findings are explained alongside the pictures on these pages, but the basic points are as follows:
The shadows could only have been created with multiple light sources and, in particular, powerful spotlights. But the only light source on the Moon was the sun.
The American flag and the words "United States" are always brightly lit, even when everything around is in shadow.
Not one still picture matches the film footage, yet NASA claims both were shot at the same time.
The pictures are so perfect, each one would have taken a slick advertising agency hours to put them together. But the astronauts managed it repeatedly.
David Persey believes the mistakes were deliberate, left there by "whistle blowers", who were keen for the truth to one day get out. If Persey is right and the pictures are fake, then we've only NASA's word that man ever went to the Moon. And, asks Rene, why would anyone fake pictures of an event that actually happened?
The questions don't stop there. Outer space is awash with deadly radiation that emanates from solar flares firing out from the sun. Standard astronauts orbiting earth in near space, like those who recently fixed the Hubble telescope, are protected by the earth's Van Allen belt. But the Moon is 240,000 miles distant, way outside this safe band. And, during the Apollo flights, astronomical data shows there were no less than 1,485 such flares.
John Mauldin, a physicist who works for NASA, once said shielding at least two meters thick would be needed. Yet the walls of the Lunar Landers which took astronauts from the spaceship to the moons surface were, said NASA, "about the thickness of heavy duty aluminum foil". How could that stop this deadly radiation? And if the astronauts were protected by their space suits, why didn't rescue workers use such protective gear at the Chernobyl meltdown, which released only a fraction of the dose astronauts would encounter? Not one Apollo astronaut ever contracted cancer--not even the Apollo 16 crew who were on their way to the Moon when a big flare started.
"They should have been fried," says Rene. Furthermore, every Apollo mission before number 11 (the first to the Moon) was plagued with around 20,000 defects a-piece. Yet, with the exception of Apollo 13, NASA claims there wasn't one major technical problem on any of their Moon missions. Just one defect could have blown the whole thing. "The odds against this are so unlikely that God must have been the co-pilot," says Rene.
Several years after NASA claimed its first Moon landing, Buzz Aldrin "the second man on the Moon"--was asked at a banquet what it felt like to step on to the lunar surface.
Aldrin staggered to his feet and left the room crying uncontrollably. It would not be the last time he did this. "It strikes me he's suffering from trying to live out a very big lie," says Rene. Aldrin may also fear for his life. Virgil Grissom, a NASA astronaut, was due to pilot Apollo 1. In January 1967, he baited the Apollo program by hanging a lemon on his Apollo capsule (in the US, unroadworthy cars are called lemons) and told his wife Betty: "if there is ever a serious accident in the space program, it's likely to be me."
Nobody knows what fuelled his fears, but by the end of the month he and his two co-pilots were dead, burnt to death during a test run when their capsule, pumped full of high pressure pure oxygen, exploded. Scientists couldn't believe NASA's carelessness--even a chemistry student in high school knows high pressure oxygen is extremely explosive. In fact, before the first manned Apollo fight even cleared the launch pad, a total of 11 would be astronauts were dead. Apart from the three who were incinerated, seven died in plane crashes and one in a car smash. Now this is a spectacular accident rate.
"One wonders if these 'accidents' weren't NASA's way of correcting mistakes," says Rene. "Of saying that some of these men didn't have the sort of 'right stuff' they were looking for."
NASA won't respond to any of these claims, their press office will only say that the Moon landings happened and the pictures are real. But a NASA public affairs officer called Julian Scheer once delighted 200 guests at a private party with footage of astronauts apparently on a lunar landscape. It had been made on a mission film set and was identical to what NASA claimed was they real lunar landscape.
"The purpose of this film," Scheer told the enthralled group, "is to indicate that you really can fake things on the ground, almost to the point of deception." He then invited his audience to "come to your own decision about whether or not man actually did walk on the Moon". A sudden attack of honesty? You bet, says Rene, who claims the only real thing about the Apollo missions were the lift offs. The astronauts simply have to be on board, he says, in case the rocket exploded. "It was the easiest way to ensure NASA wasn't left with three astronauts who ought to be dead," he claims, adding that they came down a day or so later, out of the public eye (global surveillance wasn't what it is now) and into the safe hands of NASA officials, who whisked them off to prepare for the big day a week later.
And now NASA is planning another giant step--project Outreach, a one trillion dollar manned mission to Mars. "Think what they'll be able to mock up with today's computer graphics," says Rene chillingly. "Special effects was in its infancy in the 60's. This time round will have no way of determining the truth."
Apollo 14 astronaut Allen Shepard played golf on the Moon. In front of a worldwide TV audience, Mission Control teased him about slicing the ball to the right. Yet a slice is caused by uneven air flow over the ball. The Moon has no atmosphere and no air.
A camera panned upwards to catch Apollo 16's Lunar Lander lifting off the Moon. Who did the filming?
One NASA picture from Apollo 11 is looking up at Neil Armstrong about to take his giant step for mankind. The photographer must have been lying on the planet surface. If Armstrong was the first man on the Moon, then who took the shot?
The pressure inside a space suit was greater than inside a football. The astronauts should have been puffed out like the Michelin Man, but were seen freely bending their joints.
The Moon landings took place during the Cold War. Why didn't America make a signal on the Moon that could be seen from Earth? The PR would have been phenomenal and it could have been easily done with magnesium flares.
Text from pictures in the article show only two men walked on the Moon during the Apollo 12 mission. Yet the astronaut reflected in the visor has no camera. Who took the shot?
The flags shadow goes behind the rock so doesn't match the dark line in the foreground, which looks like a line cord. So the shadow to the lower right of the spaceman must be the flag. Where is his shadow? And why is the flag fluttering?
How can the flag be brightly lit when its not facing any light ?
And where, in all of these shots, are the stars?
The Lander weighed 17 tons yet the astronauts feet seem to have made a bigger dent in the dust.
The powerful booster rocket at the base of the Lunar Lander was fired to slow descent to the moons service. Yet it has left no traces of blasting on the dust underneath. It should have created a small crater, yet the booster looks like it's never been fired...
What animes similiar to Fate/stay night?
Im tryin to find anyme that similiar to fate stay night
i like action romance
please dont suggest anything that have robot or a lot of technology
i like sword or that kind of stuff
i watched Buseo Renkin and Kaze no Stigma
i really like these kind of anime please help
I recommend Kara no Kyoukai since it's from the same writer: Kinoko Nasu. It's a series of seven films, each about murders that are taking place through supernatural means. The protagonist is Ryougi Shiki, a girl that has been raised in a family of demon hunters and has the ability to see the death of everything through her Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. She also has an almost insatable urge to kill. It also has some amazing art and animation:
I also recommend reading the Fate Stay Night visual novel. There are three routes. The anime only covers the Fate route which is only one-third of the story. There's also the film which covers the UBW route but cuts out about 90% of the depth it has, but the best and final route Heaven's Feel was never adapted. You can download it from somewhere if you google it. English patches are available for free from Mirror-moon if you want to buy it.
Beautiful Creatures movie and book?
I just watched beautiful creatures last night and am very intrigued by the story, however since I saw the movie I dont really want to read the first book but start on the second one. Does the movie end where the first book left off? Or am I missing major things the book had that the movie didn't. Thank you
I KNOW THE BOOK AND MOVIE ARENT EXACTLY THE SAME. BUT UNLESS SOME INTENSE MAJOR PART HAPPEND IN THE BOOK THAT THEY DIDNT SHOW IN THE MOVOE. LET ME KNOW AND ILL READ THE BOOKS. BUT IF NOT.. I HONESTLY JUST WANNA KNOW IF THE BOOK LEFT OFF WHERE THE MOVIE DID
Main differences you should know about (many more though if you want to see the rest go to the website in "Source" its near the bottom of the page on tht website) <3 The ending of the movie is possibly the biggest difference from the novel. With his memory of Lena gone and free of any ties to Gatlin, Ethan is more than happy in the final moments of the film (which takes place six months after her 16th birthday). He prepares to leave for a college campus tour to New York and stops by the library just before he leaves to say goodbye to Amma. He runs into Lena there, which sparks his sudden lost memories of her, and the film ends with him screaming out her name just as he and Link pass the county line. In the book, the sequel is completely set up in an entirely different way - taking place directly after Lena's 16th birthday (instead of half a year) after she accidentally caused Macon's death and is more than guilt ridden and broken, therefore setting up the events for Beautiful Darkness. Ridley plays a major role in attempting to kill Ethan in the film than she did in the book. In the film, she seduces Link into accidentally shooting him with a real bullet instead of a blank during the town’s annual Civil War reenactment. However, Link instead kills Macon who was disguised as Ethan. In the book, Ethan actually misses most of the reenactment and neither of these events ever happened.(He was actually stabbed by Sarafine and then Lena does the spell to bring him back and Macon dies in his place) Lena casts a spell and wipes out Ethan’s memory of her so he won’t possibly die in order to break her family curse (only to have him regain his memories at the very end of the film). This never happens in the novel. Link discovers the Caster world at the end of the novel when he and Ethan become involved in the final showdown between Lena and her mother, Sarafine. In the movie version, both Link and Ethan are knocked unconscious before Lena's confrontation with her mother. In the movie, Lena discovers she must kill someone she loves in order to break her family curse, a detail that isn’t part of the book. In the novel, Ethan dies when he is murdered by Sarafine after she fatally stabs him. Lena and Amma then ressurrect him by making a deal with The Book of Moons by trading his life with someone else's. This, therefore, setting up the major plot line for his needed sacrifice (as well as his severed soul which plays a large role) in Beautiful Chaos. However, in the film his death and murder never happen.
WOMEN ONLY - What are your favourite selection of great films?
I am attempting to write a book about films for women - not chick flicks as such but a good variety of films that women enjoy, including some of my personal favourites. I would really appreciate your input of favourite films and why you like them. Many thanks
It's easy to list films, but how do you explain why you like a film? For me, that's practically impossible to explain in a few words, a few paragraphs or even a few pages why I like a particular film. That could be asking too much. I've been a film buff throughout my life, and I love many genres. I can give you an enormously long list of movies that I have watched multiple times; I mean that many of these I have viewed 100+ times.

Where can I watch the movie Moon online for free?
The movie came out June 12th in selected theaters. I've been looking everywhere and I can't seem to just WATCH the film. There are sites that would ask me to fill out surveys, then they end up trying to sell you stuff.
So in short, please send me a link that goes directly to the movie without me filling out surveys, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
please, also, can you give me a DIRECT link to the movie. I'll find a way to give more points if someone does!
