  2. QUESTION:
How can i get video footage in a youtube video?
Just to be clear i know how to create a video on my camera and put it on youtube.. that is easy
    BUT...
i want to know how can i like get for an example a a sample of a youtube video in my own video so i can put on youtube.. or maybe a sample of a DVD film playin from my laptop, how would i get that in a video created by me onto Youtube?

    • ANSWER:
Use "Free Download Manager" to download videos from youtube and similar sites:
      http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

It integrates with any browser. When the add-on is installed, you'll see a small green 'Download with FDM' box appear when you hover your mouse pointer on the upper left hand corner of the video a few seconds after it starts to play.

You can download videos from streaming video sites like Youtube, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Veoh, Google Video, etc.

The video is saved in its native format but can be directly converted to other popular formats like MP4, MPG, AVI, WMV, FLV, and yes, even MP3.

As for DVD movies, rip the whole movie to your hard drive using this:
      http://www.formatoz.com/

After getting all the videos you need, edit them on Windows Live Movie Maker 2011:
      http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker

Finally, post your work to youtube.

  4. QUESTION:
Why is the online version still not available for download, is the zeitgeist movement being hypocritical?
So many Volunteers involved and the producer intends to make it rich?

    • ANSWER:
Not counting his own time, Peter Joseph, the creator of the Zeitgeist films, spent 0k of his own money making this third movie, "Moving Forward".

Let's do some quick calculations to see how rich PJ can get off this film...

From his web page, the prices can be seen for ordering DVDs:
      http://www.zeitgeistmovingforward.com/dvd

Let's assume the most expensive case and people only buy one DVD at a time:

PJ doesn't get the DVDs he sells for free, so let's guess that each disc costs him . The discs are professionally produced, with an image label burned on to them, etc, so is probably pretty close for his material costs. That means he's making per DVD.

This means he has to sell 40k copies just to make back the 0k he sank into it.

How many copies do you think PJ can sell? Who is buying them? Blockbuster and Netflix are not stocking up on them. They are not for sale at Amazon or Walmart.

Most people will just watch it for free on-line:

As of today, just two weeks after the world-wide theatrical premier, the torrent is available.
You can find it on his official web page for the movie with a link straight to the torrent download:
      http://www.zeitgeistmovingforward.com/
      http://thezeitgeistmovement.com/Zeitgeist.Moving.Forward.2011.NTSC.DVDR-VODO.torrent

So, at profit (not counting his personal time to mail them out), how many copies would you say PJ must sell to make it rich? Since it's easily available for free on-line, what do you think his chances are? I don't think he'll even make back the 0k of his own money he put in.

  5. QUESTION:
Can I watch Little Red Riding Hood 2011 online?
If so, may you please be kind enough to include links that worked for you. Thanks a million, so exicted to see it!

    • ANSWER:

  6. QUESTION:
How do I delete Windows Live Essentials?
I've tried what I've read online already. There is no folder in Program Files (x86) called Windows Live, and when I tried to uninstall it another way (some way with the control panel, I forget), it said that it was already uninstalled. Reading this you may think that I already have it uninstalled; when I try to install Windows Live Essentials, it says that I already have the latest edition. Worst part is... I don't even have the program I installed Windows Live Essentials for, Windows Live Movie Maker.

    • ANSWER:
You can't delete a program. You have to uninstall it.

Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features>Windows Live Essentials (usually followed with the year, i.e. 2011). Windows Live Essentials is almost at the bottom of the list. Click on it once to highlight it and then click on Uninstall up at the top of the list. Or just right click on it and click on the Uninstall/Change button that appears.

Windows Live Movie Maker's program files on in the Photo Gallery program folders. The pathway is:
Computer>C:>Programs Files(x86)>Windows Live>Photo Gallery. If you double click on the Photo Gallery folder to open it, you'll see the colorful film strip that is Movie Maker's exe file (the file that starts the program) and other Movie Maker dlls and files. Movie Maker files can be found in just about all the folders in the Photo Gallery folder. This is why you have to install Photo Gallery and Movie Maker together. To uninstall one of them, you have to uninstall both of them.

If there's no Windows Live listed in Programs and Features and there's no Windows Live folder in Program Folder(x86), the program is uninstalled. If you can't do a new installation of Windows Live it means that the programs are not completely uninstalled, that bits and pieces of them have been left behind.

You'll have to use an uninstaller, like the free version of Revo Uninstaller Pro, to remove them.

  10. QUESTION:
When is motion empire going to work again?
I go on this website motionempire to watch tv shows online and it isn't working and i was wondering when or if anyone knew why it was down and if or when it will work again?

    • ANSWER:
Having been a member on ME for about three year I really can sympathise with those of you reading this report....................................................................

      Recent Events.............
It all started a few months ago when the US authorities ordered the shut down and seizure of the world renowned and most popular live streaming/download entertainment site called Mega-upload together with its sister-site Mega-Video. The directors were arrested and the company which at that point is reputed to be worth several million dollars was charged with something called copyright-fraud.
In my view this was bound to happen sooner or later after all the people who produce these films, TV shows and such like DO have a living to make and somehow I guess it isn't all that cool to rip them off by airing their product free of charge as they, and others, have been doing for quite a few years now.
      .......................................................................................................
      Motion Empire Itself...........
Anyway back to ME; It seems that their directorship took a look through their crystal ball and saw nasty things by way of the US Justice department approaching. SO a decision was made to severe all links with any and all websites that even so much as "looked like" they might entertain this form or piracy.
The result of this was a total deletion of the many thousands of films they previously had links to. The statement they made went something like this...
We have decided not to offer links to any site that does not hold the copyright to the films they store on their servers. Instead we are going to be good little boys and observe the letter of the law "bla-bla " ......................................................................................................

      The Results.....................
The inevitable result of all this was that members left the site in droves as there was nothing left to attract them to the site. this in turn would have had a major impact on the advertising revenues that ME would have been able to secure which in turn would make them re evaluate any future plans they might have had.
Previous to this whole sorry saga ME had announced that they were building a new site "Motion Empire 2" back in december 2011 however, in my view, this plan superseded the events relating to "Mega-video".
Its a great shame as this was truly one of the best sites of its kind, but then, without the content they had they ceased to be competitive.
I am not sure why the site simply vanished as it did but I guess if you don't pay the bills you cant keep the server !!!
Last reported sighting of the site that I am aware of was April 3rd at 1.36 am UK time! ....................................................................................................................

PS I hope they manage to sort something out though it seems awfully doubtful to me at this time !

  11. QUESTION:
Where can I buy Ghost Hunting Equipment?
I understand that there aren't ghost hunting stores that can make enough money to stay open traditionally. So I'm looking for recommendations for online ghost hunting equipment stores that are reputable and have been around awhile?

    Any positive help is appreciated!

    • ANSWER:
I think I can help with this one. While there are many places online that you could buy ghost hunting equipment, I would recommend only a few – here’s why.

Of course visit http://GetGhostGear.com From there you can click through to the world’s largest and first online ghost hunting equipment super store (direct link to store http://GetGhostGear.com/store.html). For full disclosure I founded the website well over a decade ago. I’ll include more about myself at the close of this so you know where you information here is coming from (this is important even if you never visit my website - I recommend you know who you are giving your money too)!

The parameters I use when shopping for non-ghost related items is simple; who’s the owner. There are many, many ghost hunting equipment stores online that popped up since the huge popularity of Ghost Hunters. Many of those ghost hunting store websites are run by persons with a strong understanding of websites and marketing, but absolutely no interest in the paranormal field. Now, I’m not faulting them; however I think the question becomes would you rather buy them a new car, or fancy watch as a result of shopping on their website OR would you perhaps rather support a ghost hunting site such as GetGhostGear.com that is run by people who have dedicated their life’s work to exploring the unexplained seeking answers; not wealth. Of course there are a few other websites out there mainly run by authors who offer ghost hunting equipment for sale. I’ve got some links off of GetGhostGear.com to some of them that I know personally and have networked with over the last two decades on various research and investigation into the paranormal.

Not just for sale, but a TON of FREE stuff on my site. We offer the largest archive of articles on ghost hunting gear with a cool interface with dozens of pictures http://getghostgear.com/gear-list-with-images.html Just click through an image that you recognize or want to learn more about. From their you can purchase or simply read, and read, and read…because we wrote a lot over the last two decades! Also a bunch of FREE downloads that other 'ghost' sites charge or only give you free with a purchase.

Hope this helps, and keep in questioning everything!

  12. QUESTION:
how can you make a video from pictures where the camera zooms and pans over the pics?
like what you see in history documentaries, can you do this using powerpoint

thanks in advance for any help

    • ANSWER:
You can use almost any video editor to do this. Another popular program that was specifically designed to do this sort of work is the free Photo Story - http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=11132

You can also pan and zoom using PowerPoint - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/create-pan-and-zoom-effects-in-powerpoint-HA010232631.aspx and http://www.pcuser.com.au/guides/office/2011/jul/pan-and-zoom-a-powerpoint-image

Out of interest watch this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlVczvB4FQk - this is the opening sequence from the 1973 film Soylent Green and still one of the best examples of what can be done with photo video montages.

  13. QUESTION:
is the hunger games soundtrack released?
iTunes says the soundtrack won't be out until march 20th but I was at walmart and they have a regular and a special edition out. Are these the same as the ones itunes will release?

    • ANSWER:
The Hunger Games soundtrack will be out on Tuesday, March 20th on iTunes and Wal-mart.

The soundtrack is produced by T Bone Burnett who won Grammies for his work in several soundtracks before, including Crazy Heart and Cold Moutain.

The album's lead single is number four, Safe & Sound by Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars. This song sold 140,000 downloads within two days of its December 23, 2011 release and debuting at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

      1. Abraham's Daughter by Arcade Fire
      2. Tomorrow Will Be Kinder by The Secret
      3. Nothing to Remember by Neko
      4. Safe & Sound by Taylor Swift (featuring the Civil Wars)
      5. The Ruler and the Killer by Kid Cudi
      6. Dark Days by Punch Brothers
      7. One Engine by the Decemberists
      8. The Daughter's Lament by Caroline Chocolate Drops
      9. Kingdom Come by the Civil Wars
      10. Take the Heartland by Glen Hansard
      11. Come Away by Maroon 5 (featuring Rozzi Crane)
      12. Run Daddy Run by Miranda Lambert (featuring the Pistol Annies)
      13. Rules by Jayme Dee
      14. Eyes Open by Taylor Swift
      15. Lover is Childlike by the Low Anthem
      16. Just a Game by Birdie

Amazon.com says "fans who pre-order tickets now to the film on MovieTickets and Fandango will also receive a free track; "Tomorrow Will Be Kinder," by The Secret Sisters."

Maybe at your Wal-mart, an employee stocked the soundtrack out on the floor before they were suppose to. This has happened to me before, but they won't sell the item. Online both the Wal-Mart regular and deluxe editions of the soundtrack have all 16 tracks on one CD. Their website does the clarify their difference, but the price of the deluxe editions is an extra four dollars.

  14. QUESTION:
How do you speed up film in Windows Live Movie Maker?
I want the film to appear like the film in this video:

Please watch the whole thing :)

    • ANSWER:
Well first make sure you have the Windows Live Essentials 2011 downloaded. If you do not have it then you can download it free, safely, and easily at this link. http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials?os=other All this package does is give you a few new things like effects and such. 😀 Now just go to your project and double click on the video you want to speed up. After doing this you should see a little box with "1x" written near the top of the screen. You can click on the drop down box and select from one of the options or you can type your own speed in. 😀 Oh and here's a few tips from experience if you want them. If I were you and I was trying to speed a really long video up really quick I would do this. Put the videos that you want to speed up individually in separate Windows Live Movie Maker projects by themselves while your individually speeding them up. First just put the video in Windows Live Movie Maker as you would normally and then move the speed up to 2x, no higher than this. The reason you don't move it up to like 5x or 4x is because it will only show little clips of your video and it will look like a bad stop motion video of pictures and trust me you don't want that. Now after speeding up the video to 2x save the movie as one file, I'm sure you know the process saving process. Now that the video is one big speeded up file, place it into another Windows Live Movie Maker project and speed it up to 2x again if you want it faster. You can continue to do this until your content with the video. I know this sounds like a lot, but it comes out really good. Once the video is speeded up to your desire, you can add it in with all the other videos in your original project, and you want even have to speed it up, it will already be, because you did the whole speeding up thing. 😀

P.S. Sorry my answer was so long. Let me know if I missed something or you didn't understand it. 😀

      Hope this helped!!!

      Vote me best answer!!!

  17. QUESTION:
Is there a movie character you can strongly identify with?
In some way or another... this question feels a tad cheesy... but a character you think you have a lot of common with or something. If not, is there a movie that you can really connect with?

Feel free to say something humorous, serious or sarcastic- whatever you feel like. I'm a bit bored, anyway.

BQ: Smashing Pumpkins or Nine Inch Nails?
BBQ: Unoriginal, I know but last 5 films you watched, and can you rate them out of 10?

    • ANSWER:
"cheesy" you say... i like cheesy.

Well, here goes: I'm a John Cusack fan, i really connect with some (not all) of his characters he plays.
High Fidelity (2000) is one of my favorites from Cusack, not because of his story with multiple girlfriends because i have never been that 'lucky', but there is something about this particular film that i simply cant narrow it down to why. Basicly when i see him on screen i feel i am living it.

Music: anything that makes me feel good about my self.(sometimes its instrumental - like chill out mp3's )

Last 5 movies: (wow, the test of memory:)

something like this, from most recent..

      Sky High (2005)
      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405325/
I would agree with 6.5 but Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in it, and that is how i found the movie, so i give it a Clear 7.5

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
Dont allow people to discourage you from enjoying it, it is what it is -transformers-
      7.5

Big Bang Theory, downloaded off the internet s501 & 502... funny but i hate the relationship stuff..

      Horrible Bosses (2011)
      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1499658/

I dont care, i say 9/10 a very funny movie (dark comedy) like pineapple express' and jason bateman rocks.

      The Lake House (2006)
      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410297/ ....not sure yet..

also i would like to mention i have started to watch this tv show (downloaded)
      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460091/
      its a blast.

      That LIST!! lol

1998 TV Manchete made a 52-episode miniseries based on Brida. This adaptation was written by Jayme Camargo, Sônia Mota and Agélica Lopes, and directed by Walter Avancini. The Brazilian actress Carolina Kasting played Brida. It was the last novel filmed by TV Manchete. It was an audience failure and this adaptation was even reproved by Paulo Coelho himself. Due to the lack of sponsors, it had a premature ending: the last scenes were not recorded, being replaced by screenshots with narrations.
2004 Warner Bros. bought the rights to the film adaptation of The Alchemist. The project stalled and never materialized and the film rights were sold to Harvey Weinstein who will serve as the film's producer.
2007 In June Paulo Coelho announced The Experimental Witch Project, a collaborative project based on The Witch of Portobello.
2009 Veronika Decides to Die was made into a film released.
2011 In July Coelho ran Aleph, The Video Contest to collaborate and increase interaction with his more than 5,000,000 friends on Facebook. The winner was Turkish artist Raif Kurt

For viewing, try hulu or ch131. Unfortunately, I dont think I can recommend sites for you to download them from.

The book thief by markus zusac?
i heard theres a movie i just finished reading the book where can i watch an original trailer. where can i get or watch the movie. online? free. no downloading but if u have to then still plz give me links thx for the help

    • ANSWER:
This my absolute favorite book. I have been searching for the movie info for over a year and still can't get anything. I think they have sold the rights of the book but the movie was supposed to come out in 2011 and I don't think that is going to happen because I haven't heard anything about it. There is no trailer but someone made a great trailer for a film festival I think. It is one youtube and is kinda creepy. When and If they do make the movie I hope it is really good and stays true to the book otherwise I don't think I want to see it.

If you really liked the book I recommend I Am The Messenger by Zusak. It is much different but the writing style is the same and is still a very good book.

  36. QUESTION:
MY SONY HDR-TD10 CAMCORDER WONT IMPORT TO IMOVIE!!!?
I just filmed so stuff and now I need to import it in to iMovie 2011, but whenever I go into my files to import it says theres no video in this file, but I can still do playback on my camcorder. I filmed in Hd if helps...please answer quick..

    • ANSWER:
You can create a new folder in your computer, copy those videos from your camcorder to that folder and then try importing them from that folder you created on your computer. If that doesn't work, maybe the extension (type) of your footage is not compatible with iMovie. As far as I know, it won't play extensions like .wmv, I don't them all, but if that seems to be the problem, you can download a video converter from Mac App Store. I use Miro Video Converter for that, it is free. Hope this helps.

  37. QUESTION:
    Questions about the macbook?
Okay so I have a few!

    1. If you have a windows pc connected to a printer, can you also connect your macbook to it?

    2. Is the apple Office able to download Microsoft Office files?

    3. What are just some generally bad things about it?

    4. What are just some generally good things about it?

    5. Is it good for doing assignments for school and such?

Thats all, and if you have any other information about them thats interesting, please share!

    Thankyou!

    • ANSWER:
      "Questions about the macbook?"
Apple sells two types: Air and Pro. Which one?

      1. A thousand computers can connect to the printer at the same time by Wi-Fi (If it is a Wi-Fi printer), but the printer will be overwhelmed if they all try to print at once. Two computers will never be a problem.

      2. Office 2011 is the Mac version. As for typing stuff in a document, you have these options:
-- You can open and edit .DOC files in TextEdit. You can also create reasonably good .DOC files with TextEdit. It lacks some of the more exacting formatting options found in the other choices below.
-- MS Office 2011 (for OS 10.5.8 or later). About US0.
-- Apple's Pages that is like Word, and Keynote that is like PowerPoint. Each US.99, click the App Store on the Dock.
-- NeoOffice, newest version US, last year's version free. Some people use OpenOffice or LibreOffice, but they are lesser cousins to NeoOffice.
-- GoogleDocs or other online office editors.

      {NeoOffice is the direct Mac development of OpenOffice and LibreOffice, and thus has a better interface, smaller size, and better highlighting appearance. Most people learn about OpenOffice from PC use, but they don't know there is a better free version for OS X.}

MS Office 2011 can edit and save any office document. Apple's Pages / Keynote / Numbers (sold separately) can edit any .DOC / .PPT / .XLS document, and export as .DOC / .PPT / .XLS document, but can only view .DOCX / .PPTX / .XLSX documents and edit / export them as .DOC / .PPT / .XLS. NeoOffice can edit and export any Word document, but has the same limits as Keynote for PowerPoint documents.

Pages is similar in use to Word, except not as many oddities and hidden defaults that are hard to change. Keynote is similar to PowerPoint, except with much better transitions. Keynote has two limitations: it cannot apply a video to more than one slide, and it cannot apply an audio file (music) to more than one slide (except as background for the whole presentation). That's why I have both Apple's office apps and MS Office.

      3. No important bad things in my opinion. I don't think it is expensive, because it has better hardware specs than a PC (EFI firmware, aluminum case, Firewire 800, Thunderbolt, glass trackpad, etc.).

      4. Runs all software if you install Windows (PCs do not run GarageBand, Pages, Keynote, QuickTime X, iMovie, iPhoto, Photo Booth, FaceTime, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, etc.). Most reliable brand (See PC Magazine list below). Easy to use. Easy to set up a network. Best security (Windows gets a lot of viruses).

      5. Any tablet or notebook computer can do school assignments perfectly, unless you are in architectural school or film school---in which case, the Mac is the best.

      ****************************************
Deciding what computer to buy without even going into a shop and trying it is like a mail-order spouse. Good luck with that type of blind decision.

  38. QUESTION:

I need to do a project for this at school so I have a few questions

    1.) what is it about
2.) what are three situations where he questions himself
3.) are there any websites where I can watch it for free without downloading it

  39. QUESTION:
Please help me find this movie > Gun Hill Road (2011) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1525838/?
Movie is Gun Hill Road (2011) [1] http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1525838/

I'd appreciate anyone who can help me find it in any way. I've searched usenet, and all I've found was password protected spam, torrents, dead or DMCA'd. Not on netflix, and release date on March 2013 for amazon. I don't care where I get it, I just need to get it like yesterday. It's for someone's HW.

    Please help. :)
No available torrents and it's dead on Usenet. Release date for DVD is march 2013 (wtf for a 2011 movie) so I can't buy it yet. This teacher is a retard.

    • ANSWER:
      Here's how to do it.

Legally: go to Google, type the film title in and go to shopping, it should be there, if not, do the 2nd options (I do not recommend this next option what so ever!!)

Illegally: go to tube plus, it usually has every film ever made and gives you 3/4 free links to watch them all on.

Alternatively just search in Google the movie title and then free copy/free download/torrent and it should help.

  40. QUESTION:
    Windows Movie Maker effects?
I want to make my footage look similar to an old 8mm film. These effects are great http://www.pixelan.com/mm/intro.htm
However, the free version has a big "X" in the middle of the screen, which I don't want... Do any of you know of any free effects for Windows Movie Maker such as an increase in saturation, a warm hue, and a yellow tint?

    • ANSWER:
You have to be using either Movie Maker 2.6 or 6.0 (installed on Windows 7 is OK) to use Pixelan's Spice 6 Wizards or Packs. It's the same situation for the best of the rest of the Movie Maker add-ons. The best extras are for WMM 6.0.

There aren't a lot of extras for Windows Live Movie Maker. Microsoft didn't release the code to developers so the brilliant guys who create extras have had to do it by trial and error.
      http://www.thefxarchive.com/index.php?category=WLMM_2011

You can download WMM 6.0 (Vista) combined with a Windows 7 installer from Blaine's blog. Blaine also has a lot of good extras for v6.
      http://movies.blainesville.com/p/wmm-60-on-windows-7.html
      http://movies.blainesville.com/
Blaine also has a good set of contrast effects.
      http://movies.blainesville.com/2007/08/custom-contrast-effects-for-movie-maker.html
You can also use Blaine's compositing and translucency effects for putting scratchy effects on your videos. You'll need to download a clip of scratchy film to composite.
      http://movies.blainesville.com/2010/12/compositing-and-translucency.html
(I'm going to have to ask on windowsmoviemakers.net about the clips. I couldn't find anything appropriate in the gazillions at Neo's Clip Archive.)
      http://www.thecliparchive.com/index.php

Patrick has been churning out extras for v6 and you can find saturation and other color effects, etc. in his list.
      http://home.comcast.net/~pleabo/MovieMaker/

A lot of Patrick's animated transtions and effects need the freeware version of Rehan's Shader TFX.
      http://www.rehanfx.org/shader.htm
(The freeware version is the regular version but you don't pay for it after the 14 day trial period. And, don't worry, it's OK. Rehan, Blaine and Patrick are all moderators or participants of the forums at windowsmoviemakers.net.)

Additional: Got a reply from Blaine at windowsmoviemakers.net. WMM 6 has "Film Old", "Film Older" and "Film Oldest" effects. I applied the Film Old effect twice (2X), desaturated the clip and it looked pretty old. I couldn't believe the effect was right in the program and I'd missed it but I have a gazillion effects from Patrick and they all begin with DPL so I must have skipped right over the few "F" effects that followed them.

  42. QUESTION:
is asking alexandria getting a new album?
i heard that asking alexandria was releasing an album this year. Does anyone know when?

    • ANSWER:
Asking Alexandria is currently writing material for a third album, which is scheduled to be released in 2013. Revolver Magazine has included the album on their list of the Most Anticipated Albums of 2012. Commenting on the sound of the album, Worsnop has said it is "a musical baby of Mötley Crüe and Slipknot."

On 1 May 2012, Asking Alexandria released a trailer for a new "shocking" short film entitled, Through Sin + Self Destruction. The release date was set for 15 May. The film promises a "controversial, uncensored look into the real lives of a new era of rockstars for today's generation". The film contains a trilogy of three music videos from the band's second album, Reckless and Relentless. The songs are Reckless and Relentless, To the Stage, and Dear Insanity. The film is available now exclusively on iTunes.

On 13 August 2012, Asking Alexandria announced on their Facebook page that a new single entitled "Run Free" was available for free download through a promotion with Axe.

On 23 October 2012, the band announced that their third album will be more "radio-friendly" with guitarist Ben Bruce stating that "...if things go as planned, will have a lot of radio singles". Bruce expects the follow-up to 2011's "Reckless & Relentless" to contain 13-15 songs, six of which he says will be "radio-friendly" and the rest of which will be "our usual balls-to-the-wall kind of stuff."

On 30 November 2012 the band announced the release of a new EP, Under the Influence: A Tribute to the Legends of Hard Rock, being released exclusively with a subscription to Revolver Magazine.

On 2 December the band were in an accident as they were driving to their show in Chicago from Cleveland. Nobody was seriously the hurt but the band's tour bus was badly damaged.

On 9 December in New York during the Monster Energy Outbreak tour, Danny Worsnop announced that he had torn his vocal cord and wouldn't be able to perform, and that his friends from Attila and I See Stars would be performing vocals for the band until he can perform again.[27] On 7 January 2013 Danny went in for a check-up on his torn vocal chord with vocal specialist Dr. Sugerman who perscribed him some medicine and told that all he would have to do is rest a bit longer and he would be able to return to singing.

During an interview with GuitarWorld.com Ben Bruce has stated that the album will contain "...a lot of heavy riffage on this record, whereas in the past we relied more on rhythms and breakdowns". He also decribed their new album as similar to "Old Slipknot" and the choruses and bridges as their "Mötley Crüe side".[29]

The band has completed work on their third studio album, which has not yet been named.

On 9 February 2013 Metal-Trailers.com released the interview they conducted with the band on January 23 at Markthalle, Hamburg, Germany during the interview. Guitarist Ben Bruce spoke to GuitarWorld.com regarding the lyrical direction for their new material; "It's a lot more mature than anything we've done before. It's not so much about partying and fucking random girls and doing drugs and stuff. We've actually taken the time to write something that's truly meaningful to us. The last two records were great, and we loved them, but we were different people then. We were a lot younger and had less experience. When you compare the albums, it will definitely show how much we've grown."

  43. QUESTION:
What will you do when the government enforce strict copyright internet laws?
ive heard theres a new law that the uk government plan to enforce -

they are now pulling out ' all the stops ' on coprighting laws on using ' file sharing ' programs on the internet - if you now try to download free music or free films online useing file sharing or any other method , they will disconnect you from the internet - 3 strikes and your out .

    here :

    UK confirms file-sharing crackdown

UK business secretary Lord Mandelson has outlined an action plan to tackle internet piracy that will see repeat offenders lose their connection to the internet.

Mandelson said he would introduce legislation next month to ensure the worst illegal downloaders of music, film and television would face punishment, in the face of opposition from internet service providers.

He outlined plans to bring in the sanctions in two waves after the passing of new laws, set to be introduced into Parliament next month.

However, the measures are likely to disappoint some people in the industry who have campaigned for quicker action to combat file sharers.

Lord Mandelson said that disconnection could come within a minimum of 15 months of the Digital Economy Bill receiving Royal Assent in April, which would mean that current offenders will not be punished until the end of 2011.

    1) if this happens, what will you do ?

    2) - if they enforce this law, how will you get your films, tv series or music from the net - or how will anyone ?

3 ) and at present ,how do you download your films and music online ? -

4 ) do you still use file sharing programs ?

    5 )

and finally - what will happen to the people who presentley have lots of music and films on their computer, already downloaded from the internet ?

    • ANSWER:
      1. I don't live in the UK so unless the USA enforces this kind of law, nothing I won't do anything.

      2. If it comes to the USA, I'd probably stick to Fancast for the TV series and movies, I use netflix for and music Youtube

      3. I don't download anything really, occasionally I download a video from youtube.

      4. Nope

      5. I assume those who already have the stuff on their computer will be safe. However that's just an assumption. What I think after reading it all, if anyone downloads AFTER the law takes affect will be taken action against.

    • ANSWER:
It's a disgusting tactic by a man who is hardly in a position to be making such decisions given his track record. It's typical of our government's approach to problems - they don't look at the cause they just tackle the consequences, like an amateur gardener cutting a weed at the stem.
I know there are a lot of people who download because it's free and only because of that but I, and many people I know, have more detailed reasons. What I see is the film and music industries throwing a tantrum because their profits aren't as big as they could be. They expect to be able to knock out huge amounts of mass produced, broad market, uninventive, critically panned garbage and have us pay for it at prices we KNOW are tantamount to theft, as they have been doing for years (and it's only the film and music industry crying, I don't hear the book or video games industries being too bothered. But then they produce stuff worth having). Now the shoe is on the other foot they use the excuse of piracy 'damaging the creative industry', or 'preventing the growth of artists'. Yet the fact is that most brilliant film and music is low budget and independent - films made with a video camera, music made in bedrooms, THAT is what the industry should be about; passion, creativity, imagination, thought. And it isn't, it's about profit. I'll pay for something I consider worth paying for, but I'll only pay what I consider it to be worth to me. I'll carry on downloading things if I consider doing so to be morally justified, I'm not going to obey the law just because it's there.

can no one answer a simple question !

    completley useless.

    • ANSWER:
Should have know it would have something to do with the unelected one, no-doubt he has some shares in the some film company or other.

But just think about it, what will happen to our media companies like BT and Virgin Media if people are cut off for illegal downloading.
I'll tell yer what will happen, they'll go bankrupt that's what.
People won't keep their cable TV, Landlines and whatever else they have, they'll cancel the lot, I would, even if its just through bloody mindedness.

This government hasn't got a clue, They'll all out of touch and brain dead, mind-you its not being proposed by this government is it, its being proposed by its Lord and master, Lord Mandelson.

Only madman could dream this up.

No-wonder this country is in the state its in.

It's in my comfortable zone, more privacy (unless my sister burst in my bedroom) and I can enjoy it like it's my own little cinema.

I do occasionally go to the Cinemas but I don't like most of Today's movies. There some decent ones but I can usually wait till DVD release.

I still watch Disney's classics for Video player, mainly because I love my childhood and could never give up VHS.

Ps, cinema price don't bug me as long as I still have the cheapie cinema where tickets are under .

  48. QUESTION:
Why is the Netherlands planning to ban tourists from coffee shops?
I don't understand why now in 2011 after decades of a notoriously happy culture in Amsterdam and the whole world famous Red Light District, it is suddenly time for a change in a stricter more Conservative direction.

Why would it be necessary now of all times to regress the progress that was made over many decades in one of the most beautiful places in Europe?

The 1960s Provo Movement with the bicycles, and then the free love of the 70s-80s was captured in Dutch films like Turkish Delight.

Holland was and should remain in my opinion, proud of its free-spirited society and not try to change this. Why is that most Dutch people wouldn't agree with me. I don't wanna see a Holland that bans coffee shops, bans nudity, bans books, bans recreational activities, bans music downloads....

it makes me very depressed because I look to Holland as being a model of a society where people have more freedoms than anywhere else and with all this the Netherlands was among the top places to live in standard of living....

I guess it's not my country but it gives me a lost sense of hope that if Holland can turn into another strict Conservative place, then there is no happy haven in this world....

there are cultures that really do have no place in any country, eventhough they are of no harm to others...that's what it means. I thought Holland was the exception but now they changed their minds....
    Is marijuana quasi-legal in Holland?
Answer: It was, but those happy golden days are gone, now people have gotten more Conservative.

Isn't Holland known for its great rock and metal bands
Answer: It was.... in the 70s and 80s, but now rock n roll is being banned and you will get fined or criminally arrested for blasting metal because it is getting a vulgar reputation in the EU.

Isn't Holland known for its nudity?
Answer: It was... but now it is to blame for crime and disease and now if you wear what you want you could find yourself in prison Holland or not

Doesn't Holland cherish the bicycles for eco-friendly transportation
Answer: That was true, but now those hippie weirdos are put in their place and normal people drive

By 2020, Holland will reinstatate capital punishment (death penalty), then declare war on all drugs, then deport all its immigrants.... the end of the Cinematic Holland has come, am I right?
The Netherlands is toughening up its laws and getting stricter

      Better effort Eric, well done!

Indeed you may not understand it so allow me and others who so live here to give you a healthy dose of reality and entry to the year 2011 rather than reminiscing in days gone by

Marijuana has never been quasi or any -sy legal in terms of production and sales. It is illegal. Is, was and will still be. There was a "toleration" under certain circumstances and this scenario has encouraged the phenomenon of "drug tourism" where persons from other countries visit the Netherland for marijuana and nothing else. Simply put people are sick and tired of this drive in approach and the subsequent nuisance and lack of respect paid. So what happens is that the balance starts to swing and actually I am of the thought that this is a great shame. I see nothing wrong with someone coming to the country e.g. Amsterdam to really explore the city and see what is has on offer, and then if they want a quiet smoke then fine, no big deal. It is this kind of tourist that will be the loss. The ones who come to get stoned out of their heads and then top it off with beers and then proceed to stumble around the city puking, shouting and generally acting like idiots are the ones who ruin it for everyone.

"rock n roll is being banned" - really? lol, I'm sure people of my parents age would be amused to hear this fallacy. Rock n roll is not the same as heavy metal and what is being "banned" anyway. Sure if you play music at a loud decibel level you can expect to get your neighbours back up and resulting actions if you carry on, but how is this different from the UK (it isn't!), US and beyond?

"Isn't Holland known for its nudity" Was it? again news for me. Naturism camps exist and there is no talk of them being responsible for "crime and disease"

Bikes - not even going to attempt this one. Humourously silly and banal. If you visited the Netherlands and see how many bikes there are on the road then you would know for yourself. "Normal" people can't afford to drive everywhere. The price of petrol/gas is the highest in NL in the whole of the EU and most of Europe.

"By 2020.... bla bla bla..... am I right? " - Nope hopelessly wrong, but hey, that's no big surprise is it!

Keep trying Eric, maybe with a lot more reading you might actually write something of some degree of accuracy in the future! In the meantime thanks for the laugh.

EDIT @ Enterprise.... well spotted 😀

  49. QUESTION:
What is the best way to emulate kodachrome and other films in a DSLR?
I really admire the saturated colors and the softness from film styles, especially kodachrome. I know that technically digital is supposed to be more realistic due to the more accurate color portrayal, but a lot of the most high-tech digital technology coming out give the subjects an unreal waxed almost doll like appearance. I also heard that film is seen as more realistically because digital processes linear and the human eye does not see that way.

Unfortunately, I chose to shoot digital due to the convenience and the lack of the cost, but I still wish to make my pictures look as kodachrome pictures did, perhaps even ektachrome and velvia as well for a change! Is there anyway I can portray these film types through a program or some kind of tutorial? I have Paintshop Pro 7 and I know about curves, color balance, saturration enhancement and the like, but I do not know how to tweak them to match the look I'm going for.

Something like these is what I hope to achieve:

Can anyone offer help? Thank you!
