New Moon Movie Facts

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
What did you think of the New Moon Movie?
If you have seen the new moon movie, how many stars would you give it?
And who was your favorite character?

    • ANSWER:
i would give the movie five stars!!
i found it to stay very true to the book and only skipped little parts. i liked it much better than twilight because in twilight you couldn't feel the emotion between bella and edward and see their relationship progress. while, in new moon you were able to feel the emotion of everyone. edward and bella's love was much more evident. taylor was an EXCELLENT jacob. they couldn't of found a better person!! there was also more color in the movie, twilight seemed really...dull to me.
my favorite character was jacob. i've been team jacob since the books. but the fact that taylor was soooo sexy just made it better.

  2. QUESTION:
What is the entire cast list for the 2009 movie New Moon?
I want to know all of the cast for the New Moon movie.

    • ANSWER:
All of the actors and actresses who played the Cullens are coming back. That includes
      Robert Pattinson as Edward
      Ashley Greene as Alice
      Nikki Reed as Rosalie
      Kellan Lutz as Emmett
      Jackson Rathbone as Jasper
      Elizabeth Reaser as Esme
      and
      Peter Facinelli as Carlisle.

Kristen Stewart is also coming back as Bella Swan, and it has been made official that Taylor Lautner is definitely coming back as Jacob. Billy Burke is still going to play Charlie, and Gil Birmingham will still play Billy. I think the rest of the human characters are going to stay the same as well, such as Renee, Jessica, Eric, Mike, and Tyler.
Also, Solomon Trimble is returning as Sam Uley, and it will also be the same actor for Embry (I forget his name) as far as I know.

As for the Volturi and other members of the pack, nothing has been announced yet. Casting decisions are still being made because filming is scheduled to start in March.

And if you hear any rumors about Vanessa Hudgens playing Leah, its NOT TRUE. It's been confirmed that there's nothing of the sort going on, not to mention the fact that Leah is not even set to be in the New Moon screenplay according to the script writer Melissa Rosenburg.

      Hope I helped! =]

P.S. The Twilight DVD is coming out on March 21st, and you can already pre-order it from Amazon. The New Moon movie is set to come out at the end of November.

  3. QUESTION:
In Sailor Moon do any of the other scouts get married?
I recently got out all my old sailor moon movies and have been watching all the episodes. i was wondering though, i know how basically everyone dies and are all brought back and serena and darien get married but is anything ever implied about the other scouts? do they ever get married? i know theyre alive and still scouts in the future but do they have families? just curious. o and any other neat things you know about the story line. :) thankx!

    • ANSWER:
All the inner scouts/senshi have seemed to have interest during the series (In English - Raye and Chad, Amy and Greg, Lita and her many ex boyfriends, Mina and Andrew) but it was never really implied that they carried on with these interests in Crystal Tokyo. In fact, after only a few episodes, their interest seemed to diappear (Except Chad and to an extent Andrew).

But from what I know, it was never implied that any of the senshi/scouts, outer or inner other than Serena get married and have a family. The outer scouts seem to have a little family going though, with Haruka/Amara, Michiru/Michelle and Setsuna/Trista as the three older figures and Hotaru as
the child. other than that and Serena and Darian, nothing is mentioned

Hope that answers your questions :)

  4. QUESTION:
What kind of car does Edward Cullen drive the in New Moon Movie?
is it the Volvo S60R from the Twilght Movie?
or is the a Volvo XC60?
    or another different car?
please give manufacturer and model e.g. S60R

    • ANSWER:
It's a black Volvo XC60 :) There was a lot of outrage about the fact that they didn't stick to silver. It's completely different to the Twilight car, for one the Twilight car was a hatchback (I'm pretty sure x) ).
      Hope this helps :)

  5. QUESTION:
What are your favorite quotes from the movie and book Twilight?
Also can be the from the books new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn!

    • ANSWER:
Here are some quotes from the book, haven't watched the movie yet -

"Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars --points of light and reason....And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything"

That's a beautiful literary metaphor, perfect for a report.

There's also the famous "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb."

Probably not much use in a report but I love "Oh, a sadistic vampire, intent on torturing her to death, sure, no problem, she runs off to meet him. An IV, on the other hand... "

Renee said: "There's something strange about the way you two are together... the way he watches you- it's so... protective. like he's about to throw himself in fromt of a bullet to save you or something"

and "Sleep, my Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who has ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love. "
A sweet Edward quote, totally shows how much he loves her.

*"No, I don't want to be without you, Bella, of course not. Be rational. And I have no problem with saving you, either — if it weren't for the fact that I was the one putting you in danger… that I'm the reason that you're here." -Edward Cullen
*"You are my life. You're the only thing it would hurt me to lose." -Bella Swan

      In New Moon:
*"So maybe this is hell. I don't care. I'll take it." - Edward Cullen
*"How can I put this so that you'll believe me? You're not asleep, and you're not dead. I'm here, and I love you. I have always loved you, and I will always love you. I was thinking of you, seeing your face in my mind, every second that I was away. When I told you that I didn't want you, it was the very blackest kind of blasphemy." - Edward Cullen

In Eclipse: I have a few faves..
*"There's something... strange about the way you two are together... The way he watches you—it's so... protective. Like he's about to throw himself in front of a bullet to save you or something." — Renee Dwyer
*"Do you ever think that your life might be easier if you weren't in love with me?" — Edward Cullen
*"Besides... the more time I spend with you, the more human emotions seem comprehensible to me. I'm discovering that I can sympathize with Heathcliff in ways I didn't think possible before." — Edward Cullen

In Breaking Dawn: my favorite will always be that last line..
"And then we continued blissfully into this small but perfect piece of our forever."

..as you can see, I usually like Edward's lines because they tend to be with deeper meanings! I LOVE IT..

      =d

  6. QUESTION:
Does the Moons gravity influence the hollow in the center of the earth?
The oceans & seas are affected by the moons gravity, could the hollow earth be shifted & what effect would this have on sensitive instruments & weather conditions?

    • ANSWER:
The earth isn't hollow. In the movie "Journey to the center of the earth", there was a subterranean sea under a subterranean sky, which is also not possible. A hollow earth is impossible because the weight of the rocks overhead would quickly collapse any such structure. Especially since, as you go down, it gets warmer, and the rock begins to flow like molasses.

However, if the earth were hollow, and if that hollow was off center from the center of the earth, everything would be affected. In fact the earth would wobble.

  7. QUESTION:
Does anyone know why they took Sailor Moon off tv? and if the Sailor Star series will be dubbed?
I am a big fan of Sailor Moon, but I watched it on Saturday mornings. I was wondering why they took it off tv. I have heard that there was a scary episode, and so they had to take it off. But I also heard that there were some episodes that they didn't dub for some reason. But I've been hearing that the Star series will be dubbed soon. So I was wonering when they were gonna dub them?

    • ANSWER:
The english dubbed version of Sailor Moon stopped being aired because DIC entertainment(the TV production company in NA owning the rights to air SM) lost the rights to SM after the due period of time. And maybe as Sailor Moon has been tagged with an adjective "backdated" :( ,they didn't bother to renew the license. The original television production company in Japan owning all the legal rights to Sailor Moon(the anime),known as the TOEI Animation, got involved in a dispute with Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of the SM manga. Naoko Takeuchi was the one who actually originated the character Sailor Moon(along with the manga SailorV),got depressed with TOEI's behaviour and instantly cut off all the relationships between her and TOEI. And to the despair of every obssessed Sailor Moon fan out there, her action caused TOEI to lose all the rights to SM,thus strictly prohibiting them from airing the Sailor Moon episodes in TV anymore. Lots of SM fans have later tried to persuade her by sending numerous emails, letters to her address, but she sticks to her decision still now. Thus, although one of the hardest facts to accept,Sailor Moon is not going to be aired in tv anymore. :(

And Sailor Stars has never been dubbed in English because the DIC authorities had no clue how to explain the lesbian relationship between Usagi and Seiya. They got away with Haruka and Michiru's relationship by stating that they were cousins, but couldn't find a way to describe the scene where Seiya, out of emotion, suddenly kisses Usagi. So,I guess, the prejudice about the lesbians became a bar to the process of dubbing. 😛

But if you wanna re-watch Sailor Moon, here's a fine place that has all the Sailor Moon episodes including Sailor Stars and the SM movies.

  9. QUESTION:
If a giant asteroid with a direction towards the earth almost the same size of the moon has been detected?
If a giant asteroid with a direction towards the earth almost the same size of the moon has been detected? Do you think there are ways to control it to save the earth? Will countries cooperate each other to destroy it before it will be too late?

    • ANSWER:
      1. There is no asteroid with the same size as the Moon. In fact, if you took ALL the asteroids and piled them all together, the final object would still be smaller than the Moon.

      2. Anything with the size of the Moon can be seen ANYWHERE up to 40 AU (40 times the distance between the Sun and Earth). For example, Pluto is smaller than the Moon and is at 39 AU. Therefore, it is impossible to suddenly discover something the size of the Moon coming our way.

      3. If a very large asteroid collides with Earth, the biggest problem will be the heat generated by the sudden stop of the asteroid. It does not matter is the "sudden stop" is the collision of a big asteroid with the surface, or with millions of pieces being stopped by our atmosphere. The amount of heat energy will end up being the same. That is why breaking it up is NOT a solution (except if you are making a movie, of course).

      4. Very few countries have the ability to send heavy launchers far enough away to do something with sufficient energy to cause a deviation of such a large asteroid. Only Russia has such launchers (and, maybe, China might be working on something). Maybe they will cooperate together if this kind of emergency occurs. But then again, maybe not.

  11. QUESTION:
Can anyone translate the two parts that ARO speaks in Italian in the NEW MOON movie?
The first part he calls Bella El Cantante? I know what that means from the book. There is another part that he speaks Italian after that and when she asks him to kill her. Any idea what it means?

    • ANSWER:
      Aro tells"la tua cantante"..
that means that "your singer". she is HIS SINGER because her blood sings for him :)
Her blood is such a delicious thing for Edward 😀
But he is able to stand close to her,, with a lot of efforts.. ^^

      And the second part:
Bella : (to Aro) You don't know a thing about his soul.
Aro: forse nè del vostro l'una per l'altro
( literally -> I know neither about your one for [the] other)
He refers to the fact that he doesn't know anything about what they feel for each other. He also implies about the fact that they are ready to risk their life for the one they love.

Thank to your question I knew they spoke in ITalian *_*
      I didn't know...
      So cool!!!! *_*

  12. QUESTION:
What is the most effective way to get people concerned about their planet?
I need the single most effective fact, image, song, video, concept, or idea that would really make people stop and reconsider their view on our environment.

Preferably something short and simple that really hammers home the point, or tugs at the heart-strings.

    • ANSWER:
Umm i think movies affect me the most, the moving images and sounds make the most impact. Movies like Day after tomorrw, Water World, Jurassic Park etc made a lot of impact and the dicussions with my class after the viewing were exicting for me - because i could not only get across the message of the movie but also the syllabus i was teaching.

Besides taking the people for an excursion into the dumps, near the sewage plant or a certain scene is effective. We in india make ganesh idols and after worshiping them for 14 days, sumberge them in any water body especially the sea. This traditions of bringing idols home was started 300 years ago by lokmanya tilak - the idols were made of the pond clay which would dissolve without difficulty when sumberged into the waters. But now a days we use plaster of paris to make bigger grander idols. These dont dissolve well and hence we see the sea shore littered with the half dissolved desolate remains of our beloved ganesh - the elephant headed god. Not only this, the paints used to decorate the idols are poisonous but also the abulations litter the beaches!!!

I take my students to see this scene and since last two years we make a group to cleanup the beach - this activity lasts for 50 minutes.

We ask the students to suggest various other ways of pleasing the lord ganpati (he can do without this insult).
They suggested making pondclay idols again or keeping the idol at home to use for the next year only symbolically seeing the lord off for the year(recycling the idol - gods are wise, they will understand. Also i want them to understand that these only rituals made by us). They suggested using natural colours like turmeric for yellow, juice of hibiscus for purple, indian goosberry for black etc.
      These are simple.
We bring out the seperation and recyling of waste matter and how much energy and resources it saves.

The Songs: We are the world by Micheal Jackson

      and the song from Pocahontas

Song: Colors Of The Wind Lyrics

You think I'm an ignorant savage
And you've been so many places
I guess it must be so
      But still I cannot see
If the savage one is me
Now can there be so much that you don't know?
      You don't know ...

You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name

You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends

How high will the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon

For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind

You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind

I will just leave it at this or it will become a huge lecture from me to you. :)

      Hope this helps. :)

      regards

  13. QUESTION:
Anyone else annoyed by the voulturi scene they put in the eclipse movie?
I am! I feel like they're just doing it for dakota fanning's benefit. It is so annoying because that scene never happened in the book, in fact, the voulturi only get a small portion in the eclipse book, at the end after the fight scene. I think the movies are just killing the book serieres. Anyone else? I mean, its like a love hate relationship. I liked twilight, new moon to an extent (I thought the ending was dumb and the vampires looked weird) Anyone else?

    • ANSWER:
Wow I;m happy to see some twilight who don't just follow the movies mindlessly, personally i really liked the book series but the movies annoy me. Kristen stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner aren't fit to play those characters! Although I shouldn't be shocked if you hear them in interviews they have a very limited understanding of the books. As well I don't think I should even get started on the other people behind the scenes making the movie because I found it so weak. I really bothers me that the movie is the representation of twilight most people see while they rarely actually go and finish the series. It's no wonder there are people who bash it without reading the books, the assume it's bad based on the movies.

Twilight was bad however New Moon didn't offend me as much and I haven't got up the nerve to let down again by Eclipse, I've given up *sigh*

  14. QUESTION:
Was the moon landing staged, and is there feasible evidence rendering it true?
There is no air on the moon and why is it that we have incredibly
powerful telescopes such as the hubble telescope that can see well past the moon but can see neither the flag nor the equipment left from the "moon landing" (shovels, land rover, etc.), or the tire impressions on the moons surface from the lunar rover.

    • ANSWER:
Why would you need evidence for the moon landings? That is totally irrational.

It's like 50,000 people witness a murder and the defence lawyer stands up in court and says to the prosecution "what evidence do you have?"

With all these nutty conspiracy theories, they can be knocked down with pure basic logic that anyone who gives it any thought can work out.

For instance, the conspiracy theory that jet airliners were not flown into the towers by terrorists. Apart from the fact that thousands of New Yorker saw it, don't these idiot conspiracy people think why American and United Airline staff didn't stand up and say " hey, we haven't had any airliners go missing", or the air traffic controllers stand up and say "hey, no planes went off our radar".

For God's sake folks apply some thought. Hundreds of Mission controllers would have to have been duped (or paid off) for 3 years of Apollo. It is impossible that any simulation they could have filmed in the desert could fool these highly trained controllers, and for 3 years and 6 landings, looking at the data on their screens, making them believe they were monitoring moon walks when it was just a bunch of movies and false data.

If that does not convince you, then nothing will, because you would rather believe ridiculous conspiracy theories than that in 1969-72 mankind embarked on the most exciting and fantastic exploration ever.

PS - Hubble is not powerful enough to resolve down to a few meters at the distance of the moon. That is what would be required.

But why should they bother to point Hubble at the moon to satisfy really daft theories that only ignorant people believe.

PS x 2 - And do you really think about what you are saying? Everybody can see well past the moon, even without a telescope, when we look at the planets, stars and even a few naked eye galaxies. But we cannot read a newspaper from 10 meters away, can we?

What you demonstrate is the lack of thought that conspiracy lovers give to the trash that they read.

  15. QUESTION:
Why could the Americans land on the moon in 1969 but can't do it anymore?
There were several moon landings in the early 1970s. Now NASA says it will be at least 2020 before the USA can land on the moon. Why is that? Back in 1969, computers were huge, slow, very limited memory, and thermionic vacuum tubes were still in heavy use. Science was nowhere near where it is today.

Chances are the Chinese will get to the moon before America does.

    • ANSWER:
We are able to go to the Moon moreso and many more times over than we did back in the 60's. There was immense political pressure being put on NASA to get this 'project' done and in a timely fashion. Now, there is no political pressure to get anything done (in fact, in some cases, there is political pressure to cancel NASA). The sad part is, no one really cares about space except the few 'egg heads' in small pockets of populations around the world. There was a day when children were inspired by space and the prospect of chartering new planets and discovering new things. Now, children are only confused by the math and science and are too busy watching movies where people die in space, or meet an alien race bent on destroying us. I guess, you could venture so far as to say the media has 'demonized' space and caused a great decrease in interest. Also, the mainstream media has children wanting to become fashionistas or business people or sports stars, before becoming anything related to science. I think the pendulum will swing back (as it always does) and there will be a renewed interest in Space exploration.

The Japanese were blasted for doing 'silly' experiments in space (like trying to fly a kite, or seeing what liquids would do under this circumstance or that circumstance). While many thought it a huge waste of taxpayers money, some thought right of it. It was a way to stimulate the younger generation and those in the population who didn't understand why testing bacteria growth in a zero gravity envirnment was beneficial. That's what we need to do. We need more 'common sense' experiments that actually start to capture imagination.

We can and we will go back to the moon. But, there just have to be certain circumstances behind that. If more private business exec's would donate more money to NASA and other Space administrations around the world, then there will be growing interest.

  16. QUESTION:
where can i find the original version of the song "Blue Moon" sung by Richard Rodgers to listen to streaming?
I've looked for it everywhere but all I can find are covers. I want the version that is actually song by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. I heard the original at the beginning of the movie "An American Werewolf in London".

    • ANSWER:
      hi there,

I have no knowledge of the fact that composers Richard Rogers & Lorenz Hart ever have sung the song themselves.

Although the song goes back to 1934, the best remembered, and most played song version on the radio in oldies shows, is the version by The Marcels (1961)

At the beginning of the movie "An American Werewolf in London", there's a version by crooner Bobby Vinton

  17. QUESTION:
What do you think about the Twilight movie and books? And the movie cast?
So, what do you guys think about the upcoming Twilight movie? And the books? And the cast? I want to hear what you think. I really like anything Twilight. Thanks.

    • ANSWER:
OK let me start off by saying that i am a huge Twilight fan. I have read all of the books twice in less than 2 weeks and I research the movie everyday

The cast fo twilight is amazing. Some people are fussing over the fact that Alices hair isn't short enough and that she is too tall. There is no way that Cathrine Hardwicke is really going to find a teenage actress that is 4' 10". Ashley Greene fits Alice amazingly.

Now on to Edward. I think Robert Pattinson plays an amazingly perfect Edward. Some people were saying that he wasn't hot enough. I don't understand how anyone can get hotter. He does have an English accent but he does use an American accent for this role and he did put a lot of effort into this!

Some people have to remember that Vampires in the Twilight Saga are amazingly hot and perfect but they are fictional and there is no one on the face of this Earth that is that. Get over the fact that Alice's haire is a few inches longer than described in the series or that there isn't a girl petite enough to play her because these little details don't make the movie.

Moving on... Kristen Stewart is a great Bella. She is a great actress and fits the role of a normal teenager well. I believe Kristen is one of the best actresses in our generation. The chemistry between Kristen and Robert is really what makes the movie and Stephanie Meyer said it her self that from the clips she has seen, the chemistry is unbelievable. I trust Stephanie when it comes to her characters.

As for the nomadic vampires... they were also a great choice. The way that they mix together looks great and they are a great mixture.

The other Cullens and the Hales look great and I really believe that they took a lot of time and effort to create the characters within themselves because every single twilight fan has their own edward or bella or rosalie or alice so they did have a lot of weight on their shoulders while filming.

As for Jacob taylor looks like a Jacob Black he is an excellent actor for this role. I am curious to see what he looks like as a wolf in New Moon. Taylor was always good with this genre.

      On to the books...
I was never one for reading. I can actually say that I hated reading until I read twilight. i read the whole series in less than a week. You can say i was a late bloomer b/c didn't read twilight until Breaking dawn came out.

I liked the romance and the suspense in the series. the secrets of the characters are crazy and the physical and emotional pain they are going through is what attatches the reader because no one want to read about Vampires who love some one SO much that they wouldn't ever do anything to hurt them where as edward actally expieriences pain and suffering to be with bella.

I love everything twilight and my new hollywood crush is Robert Pattinson. The way everything in the series has a meaning is very hard to describe each decision that is made matters A LOT.

I love reading interviews and watching the Comic Con with the twilight cast on you tube. If you havent seen it chectk it out. watch parts 1-5 they are hilarious

  18. QUESTION:
Is it possible for two planets to pass close to each other, causing damage?
I was inspired to ask this question watching "When Worlds Collide". In that book and movie, a planet passes so close to the Earth, that it causes mass destruction like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, etc.

    Is this possible?

    • ANSWER:
IF it were to happen, then yes, it would cause damage.

However, the likelihood of this happening in a solar system as old as ours is very, very, VERY small.

And by very small, I mean that is more likely that I will be unanimously elected Dictator of the World.

It might have happened billions of years ago in the early solar system. In fact, it almost certainly is why Earth has a Moon.. two primitive planets collided, and it may also be why Uranus spins on its side and why Venus rotates backwards.

But it can't happen now. Any planet passing through our solar system on a long orbit now would have disturbed the other planets' orbits long long ago, and we would not be here to see it.

A planet ejected from another solar system eons ago could, I suppose, pass through ours and do some damage, but this is also incredibly unlikely given how vast space actually is. Plus, we'd notice long beforehand because its gravity would still disrupt other orbits, comets, asteroids, and so on.

  19. QUESTION:
In the book, does the vampire in Twilight put make-up on to look white or is that how his skin naturally is?
The reason I ask is because in the movie, he just looks like he's wearing white make-up and if he's supposed to have naturally white skin, the movie make up fails. So what is it?

    • ANSWER:
In the book its his natural skin color due to the fact he's basically dead. His heart doesn't beat and he only breaths out of habit. The movie did no justice for the book, I was highly dissapointed with the poor make up skills and the acting as well. Kristen stewart portrayed Bella so poorly, let's hope New Moon is better.

  20. QUESTION:
Why was the US flag in the first man on moon mission waving on the video?
Isn't there no air in space or on the moon?

    • ANSWER:
Have you ever actually LOOKED at the video of the flag on the Moon? I'll bet you haven't, and you're taking somebody's word for it. I HAVE looked at the video, and in fact 99% of the time the flag is not moving. The ONLY time it moves is when one of the astronauts shakes the pole. The rest of the time it is absolutely rigid. In still photographs, it LOOKS like it's waving, but that's only because they sewed a wire into the upper edge of the flag so that it would look right. When the astronauts actually planted the flag on the Mon, it looked pretty silly just sitting there rigidly, so they jiggled the pole to make it move. I've watched a sped up movie from a fixed camera in the lunar module, and that flag doesn't move a millimetre for 99% of the time, then every so often one of the astronauts walks over to it and juggles the pole. Watch it yourself (it's on YouTube) and don't take somebody else's word for it!

  21. QUESTION:
What anime would you recommend for a teenage girl?
I would like to watch some anime but I've only ever seen a few and a few anime movies. I enjoyed sailor moon and pokemon but what else is there that you can recommend?

    • ANSWER:
Vampire Knight: VERY VERY popular with teenage girls!! O_O (such as myself) Trust me, if your a anime fangirl and like romance, drama, dark storyline, and HOT vampires and great character design then you will definetly love it!xD Even ask the billion fans that watch it! x3

Pandora Hearts: Alot a teenage girls watch this anime too. Pandora Hearts is a tragety, drama, mystery, comedy, horror, and sweet romance anime that gives you a Alice in Wonderland feel to it, but its not excactly like Alice in Wonderland (In fact its alot different, its a whole lot darker, theres no talking animals, really nothing like it) but it still is similar. All of my friends and I are IN LOVE with this anime!! Infact Pandora Hearts is my favorite anime right now and I'm really picky when it comes to having a certain anime be my fave!xD ITS AMAZING!!

Ouran High School Host Club: HILARIOUS!!! This anime will have you laughing till your gut hurts!!xD Its one of the best anime shoujo comedy's you can find!! It also has cute romance too and the art is fantastic^-^

  22. QUESTION:
Name of a movie set in rainforest with alien children?
I remember watching this movie when I was little. I remember that the first scene was a little naked child crying on a rope bridge in the jungle. The movie was set in an Amazon rainforest. I remember there being some tree houses. I don't remember much, but in the end it turned out the children were in fact from space (possibly the moon) and they had to take pills in order to stay young forever and if they stopped, they immediately got old and died or something like that.

    • ANSWER:
      the smurfs

  23. QUESTION:
Is it possible that man can reach the center of the earth?
This pertain to the inner core of the center of the earth, we have seen a movie regarding this subject, but is it possible that man with his invention and enough ingenuity could penetrate the deepest core in the center of the earth? If man can reach the farthest star or planet why not the center of the earth?

Perhaps now this is purely sci-fi imagination, what if one day we could but the problem is what is the purpose of going down there in the first place?

    • ANSWER:
The benefits of doing this are almost un-imaginable in terms of energy production.

The fact is, with current technologies, it isn't possible. We are still not even 100% aware of exactly what the inner structure of the earth is. The current accepted descriptions are based upon analysis of earthquake waves. In addition, the temperatures would be too hot to endure.

PS: man hasn't traveled to the farthest star or planet. The furthest man has traveled into the moon. The furthest man has sent a space probe has only recently gotten close to the outskirts of our solar system, let alone the nearest star (which is millions of times further) let alone the furthest star!

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound patronizing.

  24. QUESTION:
Do you believe man really landed on the moon?
Apparently there are scientific facts proving it never happened. What are these facts?
One that I've heard is that there's no wind there, although in the tv footage the flag is 'blowing'.
    What are your thoughts?
"aviophage" I was only asking for opinions and I did NOT state my own so don't tell me to 'stop being foolish' and then later in your speel tell me to 'ask around on yahoo there are people here who will give answers' when that is what I'm doing.
Wake up woman. This is obviously something you feel strongly about and that's fine, I only needed your opinion, not advice.
    Thanks for your answers.

    • ANSWER:
Of course not. NASA spent billions of dollars on styrofoam rockets and plastic movie sets. And Congress let them.

  25. QUESTION:
Why are movies about the future so inaccurate?
Look at movies like 2001, Blade Runner (takes place in 2019), etc. They are way off on their predictions for the future. In fact they over predict. What they show probably won't happen for another hundred years?

    • ANSWER:
A few decades ago a lot of people thought that by the year 2000 we would have cities on the moon, spaceships going to other planets, flying cars and androids to do all the hard work, none of them were anywhere close, maybe they should set futuristic films at least 60-80years ahead, at least the creator of Star Trek had the sense to set it in about 2250 instead of 1990's like Terminator Judgement Day, Lost In Space and Space 1999.

  26. QUESTION:
Does anyone know anything about New Moon the movie?
I really am a huge Twilight fan and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about the movie? Like when it starts shooting, when it comes into theatre's[month, season, day]? Or anything on the characters or who will be who? Any information on the movie will be greatly appreciated. I'm part of a Troubled Teen Club and most of us love the Twilight series. It's our latest scandal. Please let us know. Thanks.

    • ANSWER:
I'm not sure what exact date it comes out, but I know for a fact that it will definitely be in theatres next year.

  27. QUESTION:
What are some of your favourite Twilight quotes?
i am a big fan of the twilight books and movie and just want to hear some of your favourite quotes. There are soo many of them, so hopefully some of you have some funny ones!

    • ANSWER:

I LOVE IT..

      =d

  28. QUESTION:
what % of people think that the Apollo moon landing was a hoax?
I have a neighbor who seems like a bright man. He is an engineer and makes good money.
But he believes that the moon landing was a hoax like the movie Capricorn One.
He also thinks that we did not kill Osama bin Laden but a lookalike. Is there a genetic trait that allows otherwise-rational persons to think like this?

    • ANSWER:
I know the government lies to us, and brilliant people tend to be more open-minded and skeptical. It's very hard to believe anything now-a-days because we get lied to all the time. Sometimes people go over board and believe EVERY conspiracy theory. Certain governments are much less corrupt, and thus I think that makes the people less likely to distrust and disrespect their governments (America is obviously not one of those countries).

However for one, I believe we were lied to about the facts of 9/11 (watch Loose Change). I'm not saying it was Bush or wasn't Osama, I just am certain we were lied to. But that is another topic.

Intelligent people tend to look at both sides, they don't always like to listen to the news, because the news lies all the time, and propaganda and deceit aren't just in other countries, other than America. Also pride and arrogance can skew what you believe especially who's saying it. There are so many problems with people in power, their greed and lies, that it's no wonder there are so many conspiracies out there. You gotta choose your battles, and really dig deep into the facts.

We landed on the moon, the video clearly proves we did (all the conspiracy theories of the moon landing d NOT hold up).

"A 1999 Gallup poll found that a scant 6 percent of Americans doubted the Apollo 11 moon landing happened [...]"

People get so hooked on a belief (moon landing didn't exist) that no matter what evidence is shown to them here on out, they will always believe what they believe. Kind of like religion or brain washing - hardly anything deters you from your strongest beliefs.

I keep such an open mind that any evidence contradicting my beliefs, I will then question, and reevaluate what I believe. Not everyone does that. I just want to say keep an open mind, don't judge him too harshly, and ask him why he believes it maybe. Try to argue with him :) I hope my comments helped.

P.S. Here is evidence of our government lying to us (we can't be so naive as to believe our government really cares fully for us and wouldn't lie): In 1898 the Spanish War was started because we believed they blew up one of our ships. Well we examined the ship and took it out to sea and sunk it in 2 mile deep waters, so no one could retrieve it. Well around 1960 some guy discovered that the engine blew up, and it had nothing to do with the Spanish at all. I think history is good and making something innocent look like an act of war, and I think humans are so willing to find someone to blame, it causes problems.

  29. QUESTION:
Do you think in a few year Twilight will be more popular than Harry Potter?
After they have both finished, and all of the movies have come out and everything?

    • ANSWER:
Never! Twilight is a phase. Harry Potter has been out for much longer and is already translated in 67 different languages. Also the movies for Harry Potter usually follow the books very closely. Many fans got frustrated with Twilight when the on-screen adaption was different from the books. If New Moon (the second Twilight movie in the series) is similar to the book, then maybe it will have a shot at being popular, but who knows.

For now, Harry Potter seems to be the one that will last longer since it a totally different fanbase, and overall just more fans. Harry Potter fans have grown up as each of the books have come out, so they had a certain anticipation as they waited each year for the books, and then the movies. The Twilight series came out very quickly so the fans couldn't really develop a real appreciation of it because it all came out at once and now there's nothing to look forward to other than the movies.

The Harry Potter movie franchise is also going to last last longer because it has actors of all ages so the viewers can relate more to the films and the books, while Twilight only has teenagers and adults. People who see Harry Potter can feel like they're actually growing up with the characters, while in Twilight, everyone is already grown up so they are going to watch them get old. Twilight is just a phase and once that phase is over, no one will care about it anymore because they'll grow up and realize how lame it really was. Also the fans of Twilight are usually people without boyfriends who were really captured by the fact that Bella didn’t have a boyfriend until she was 17, and also the author made her seem very “plain” just like the average teenager. The books were directed to sell, and it shows. If you have read both Harry Potter and Twilight, you would realize how much simpler Twilight is and how it just copies every other vampire book or movie out there, like True Blood which came out before Twilight yet everything is extremely similar.

Just watch, in a few years, teenage Twilight fans will grow up and grow out of their phase. Twilight is one of those things that gets popular really fast and people try to make as much money they can while people are still interested. The Harry Potter franchise never had to seem so desperate by making every single thing they sell a “collector’s item.” And while Harry Potter does have some expensive items to buy they aren’t overpriced tee-shirts, they’re replica props from the movies that actually look real.

  30. QUESTION:
Where can I find interviews with Johnny Depp that are not highly publicised?
I want to find out the facts that not every one knows, like that he dropped out of school at 16, and plays the guitar.
Where can I find interviews that he talks about his teenage life? or about his family, and his experimenting with drugs?

    • ANSWER:
found this article for you, hope it helps xx

      Early Life
Unlike many other celebrities like John Wayne, Tom Cruise and Charlie Sheen, Johnny Depp kept his real name instead of changing it when he entered showbusiness. He was born John Christopher Depp II on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky. (He grew up in Florida.) His father was an engineer and his mother Betty Sue worked as a waitress. (His parents later divorced when he was 15.) A brother Danny, and sisters Debbie and Christie rounded out the Depp family.

      His Teenage Years
A little known fact about Johnny Depp is that he began smoking cigarettes at the young age of twelve. He now smokes his own rolleys, preferring Bali Shag brand tobacco and Rizla cigarette paper.

At the same age, Johnny Depp decided to teach himself how to play the guitar. It took him two years to do it, but he finally succeeded.

While other teens who loved rock 'n roll had posters of their favorite artists plastered across their bedroom walls, Depp's bedroom looked like an art museum instead. He thinks highly of Vincent Van Gogh and had reproductions of his art hung up instead.

Of course, being that Depp is a musician himself, he has always loved music. His favorite rocker is Keith Richards. In fact, he designed his Jack Sparrow character in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies to be a mixture of Richards, cartoon skunk "Pepe Le Pew" and Dean Martin.

School life was rather exciting with Depp around. He mooned a teacher and got suspended. At age 17, Johnny Depp dropped out of high school to pursue his love of music and start a rock band.

      His Life Now
Another little known fact about Johnny Depp is that he has two silver skull rings, one for each ring finger. The rings, along with his penchant for sword fighting, seems to make him the perfect choice for a lead in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. Actually, he wears the skull rings to remind him that life is short and every moment needs to be lived to the fullest.

Actor Johnny Depp earned ,000,000 for starring in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" in 2003. He raked in an additional ,000,000 for starring in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" in 2006. Yet, he loves to shop at thrift shops to look for unique bargains. (Depp also loves antique stores.) In fact, Depp found a nine foot tall fiberglass rooster at a thrift store. He purchased it and had it placed it in his home. Depp calls it "my nine-foot cock."

While he's not afraid of giant roosters, another little known fact about Johnny Depp is that the 5'10" actor suffers from Coulrophobia, which is a fear of clowns.

  31. QUESTION:
what do you think will happen to akatsuki in naruto road to ninja and what do you want to happen?
I really hope that something funny happens to them or at least some fan service like Sasuke and Hinata ( I might actually like sasuke in this one) If anyone has info about akatsuki in the movie please tell me :3 I seriously want to see more akatsuki~ Hopefully Kishy will do a bit fanserivce and confirm certain pairings -////- So, what do you think will happen to them besides die again?

    • ANSWER:
Well, Tobi/Madara's Eye of the Moon Plan (I think that's what it's called) ends up happening, so basically the Akatsuki win and everyone ends up in turmoil.

Please don't tell me you're going to be all fan-like for Sasuke in this movie, even though you don't like him to begin with. I love Sasuke now, and I'm not switching around just because he's good-looking.

Apparently SasuSaku is supposed to be getting attention, and NaruHina.

You can't confirm pairings for a movie that's solely based on a 'what-if-this-happened' idea, which is what this movie is based on. Any couple that is shown in this movie that hasn't been confirmed/established in the anime is NOT confirmed to be a couple in Naruto because this movie is based on an alternate timeline, and is going to tell us why things should be the way as they are, which is bad, and everyone wants things to be different.

I personally think that, since Minato and Kushina don't die, Naruto won't have the motivation to be as strong, coupled with the fact that Sasuke doesn't leave the village. This suggests that the Uchiha Clan Massacre never happened, and Itachi isn't part of the Akatsuki. He may have a replacement?

Naruto probably won't be the Nine Tails' jinchuuriki, and thus Gaara probably won't be the Kazekage....

Okay, now I'm confusing myself. I'm sure Kishimoto won't take all these amazing things back... He can't alter the story THAT much, can he? O.O

If the Eye of the Moon plan is supposed to happen, that means the Nine Tails' jinchuriki was captured... so whoever that is in Road to Ninja will be dead, and Gaara probably won't be revived.

This movie just keeps on sounding more amazing~

  32. QUESTION:
What would be a good thesis statement for my research paper about the 2012 Phenomenon?
I'm writing a research paper and I need a good thesis statement. My paper is about 2012 in general; what the Mayans predicted, about the movie, the galactic alignment, etc.

    • ANSWER:
      Time to do some research.

The Mayans didn't predict anything about 2012. In the Long Count calendar, it is the start of the next cycle (not the end of the world).

The "galactic alignment" actually occurs every December, not just in 2012.

The science in the movie is completely inaccurate (for example, neutrinos don't react with matter and so can't heat the Earth's core).

Your thesis could focus on the fact that schools don't teach any basic science anymore, so any hoax or myth that someone decides to post on YouTube or wherever suddenly becomes reality (while actual historical facts such as the moon landing is labelled a hoax).

It seems that people no longer have a trash detector they can rely on.

  33. QUESTION:
What Twilight quote should I put as my Facebook status?
Tomorrow, apparently, is "International Twilight Day" and you have to set up your status as something about Twilight. I want to do a quote. Preferably something funny. Any Ideas?

I've read the series 12 times and I just finished Twilight and New Moon for the 13th time. (no i am not kidding.) So I am still searching, but I need ideas.

  34. QUESTION:
What will happen if the moon will collapse?
Im just curious... because I've watched a movie about that.... then I dont really know what will happen then.

    • ANSWER:
The Moon is a solid body and, as such, cannot collapse. If it were hollow, that might be a remote possibility. Don't mistake science fiction for science fact. Movies are made for entertainment and aren't meant to be taken as reality.

  35. QUESTION:
Memories and feelings about the moon landings as you rememeber it?
(I am doing a project with some children at school and they are looking at memories from around the world on the moon landings in 1969) Thanks

    • ANSWER:
      July 20, 1969

I was 17 years old and employed as an assistant counsellor at a summer camp in the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York. During the day, we had our radios on, and people were sharing updates in between regular camp activities. I remember someone coming into our cabin and telling us that the lunar module had landed, but that the astronauts would not be exiting from it for several hours.

That evening, after "lights out" for the campers, I accompanied several counsellors to the camp director's cabin to watch the developments on the camp's only television set. This was long before the days of cable tv, and the reception at this remote location in the mountains was not very good. As it is, the quality of the broadcast from the moon was blurry even on a good tv, so we did not have the best picture. Still, we could make out the spacecraft sitting on the lunar surface....and we waited.

Eventually we saw Neil Armstrong emerge, we saw him descend the ladder, we heard him speak so matter-of-factly about what he was doing. "I'm starting to descend the ladder.....I'm on the last rung......I'm going to step onto the lunar surface now...." And then the now-famous quote, "that's one small step for man....."

And then we actually saw a man walk on the moon! Live! I had the sense that something immensely significant had changed in the blink of an eye. For the entire history of the human race the moon had been unreachable, and now we were watching someone walk on it. And it happened so quietly, accompanied by Armstrong's humble, low-key demeanor, without the triumphant music that would have been playing had this been a movie!

My strongest memory of that evening, however, is what happened when we left to return to our own cabins. As I walked across the baseball field I suddenly stopped, turned, and stared at the moon. I was struck by the fact that it looked the same as it always had, but I knew it wasn't the same.

I had looked at the moon all my life, and now I tried to get it into my head that two men were up there at that moment even as I gazed at it. Even though I couldn't see them, of course, I knew I was looking at them. As I was about to head to my bed in my cabin, they were settling down to go to sleep up there! It seemed so unreal, so hard to believe.

It may be that someday I will be sitting in front of a tv set, with a much better picture, watching the first human walk on Mars. I'm sure I'll find that exciting, but I doubt if it will have the impact of watching the moon landing. By now, I have developed an expectation that we can visit other worlds. Back then, the moon BECAME another world , as opposed to merely something in the sky, when someone walked on it.

      (subjectively speaking, of course :)

  37. QUESTION:
Do you think that the new movie Apollo 18 is real?
The government never gave us a strait out reason why we havn't been back to the moon. And why would they relese something like this. And I am very curious cause we did have a lot of fails in the Apollo missions. But why did they have to quit now when our technology got more technical. Is there something up there that they are tryingt to hide. Are they scared. What is up there that they don't want us to find out?

    • ANSWER:
      >"The government never gave us a strait out reason why we havn't been back to the moon."

Wrong. The government has been very explicit about why we haven't been back to the Moon. First, it was incredibly expensive. The expense was justified by scientific progress and by beating the Soviets, but after a while prices spiraled far beyond early estimates and the public lost interest. People were unwilling to keep funding a project whose purpose had apparently already been served, so the Apollo program was canceled after Apollo 17. The government decided to focus on the development of the space shuttle and on space station programs. None of this is secret information, by the way.

      >"why would they relese something like this."

They wouldn't, because it never happened. This movie is fiction. At no point does it claim to be based on real events. It exists purely for entertainment.

      >"And I am very curious cause we did have a lot of fails in the Apollo missions."

Apollo 1 caught on fire on the ground, killing three astronauts. Apollo 13 suffered an explosion in space that crippled the spacecraft and caused them to abandon their Moon landing attempt. The rest of the Apollo program is considered one of the greatest technical achievements of mankind...ever.

      >"But why did they have to quit now when our technology got more technical."

They didn't. In fact, they made TREMENDOUS leaps in technology just to get Apollo going. And as I explained earlier, they took the money intended for more Apollo missions and funneled it into the space shuttle, which was even more technologically advanced than the Saturn V rockets had been. So no, this is wrong.

      >"Is there something up there that they are tryingt to hide. Are they scared. What is up there that they don't want us to find out?"

No, and nothing. NASA has been very transparent about the Moon landings. There was no Apollo 18, and the movie by that name is fiction. I hope this helps. Good luck!

  38. QUESTION:
what name did Bastian call out the window in the Neverending Story?
In the movie, Bastian (the Earthling child) had to give the Empress a new name. He said earlier in the movie "my mother had such a beautiful name". During a storm Bastian yells, presumably, his mother's name out the window but I can't understand what he's saying.

    • ANSWER:
Okay, some back story on this. In the movie, which isn't the best rendition of The Neverending Story, he mentions that if he were asked to give the Childlike Empress a new name, Bastian would give her her mother's name. However, in the movie, somewhere between the time he makes that statement, and actually calls out her name he changes his mind, because he calls out "Moon Child". Now, I very highly doubt that his mother's name was "Moon Child Bux".

Now, in the book, Bastian never makes the claim that he will give the Childlike Empress his mother's name. In fact it never comes up at all. When faced with the decision to let Fantastic (Fantasia in the movie), or name the Golden-Eyes Commander of Wishes (The Empress), he named her. And he names her Moon Child, which, by naming her, he showed his power of imagination, and the power to create worlds with it.

So, so answer in the question, in the movie, he called out "Moon Child", but it was never his mother's name.

  39. QUESTION:
Does anyone know any really good sayings or quotes to live by?
I am one of those people who loves quotes. But i like them to be about life or love. It can be from any movie or any book. hint hint I love the Twilight Series.

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” - Anatole France

“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.” - Pamela Vaull Starr

“Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” - Thomas Alva Edison

“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” - Albert Einstein

“Recognition is the greatest motivator.” - Gerard C. Eakedale

“Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.” - Albert Einstein

“People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.” - Zig Ziglar

“Came but for friendship, and took away love.” - Thomas Moore

“One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.” - James Earl Jones

“Dad, I love you very much” - Priyanka Chopra

“Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” - Benjamin Franklin

“Drink to me” - Pablo Picasso

Besides, here are some excellent Twilight quotes -

I LOVE IT..

  40. QUESTION:
how many movies are they making of the twilight series, just the first one?
I've been thinking about the movie a lot and would be slightly upset if they didn't make all four books into movies, despite the fact that i am thankful they're atleast making one. Does anyone know if they plan on making new moon, eclipse, and breaking dawn into movies aswell?

    • ANSWER:
It depends on how much the movie makes...if Twilight makes enough...they'll do New Moon...that's what the director said in some interview that I read today...I forget what interview it was though...but it all depends on how much Twilight makes...and if they do New Moon...I don't think they'll stop...because then they'd have to finish the series...you know?...and right now it's looking like it'll be a box office hit...so they'll most likely be sequels...I was a bit repetitive...sorry...lOl.

  41. QUESTION:
Does anybody know the name of the actor that died, who was supposed to play jacob on Twilight?
This was during the casting, of the first movie... I think, and one of the actors that was supposed to play Jacob (or some other character) died? And the news magazines were speculating who was going to play Jacob? Taylor Lutner plays him now, but who was the one going to play Jacob before?

    • ANSWER:
There are no public records available for deaths related to names included in previous casting decisions.
You may be thinking this incorrectly due to the following facts:
Due to major physical changes that occur in the character of Jacob Black throughout the series, the director of Twilight's sequel, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, considered replacing Lautner with a different actor in the second film. In an attempt to keep the role, Lautner weight-trained extensively and gained approximately 30 pounds. Lautner reprised his role as Jacob in New Moon.

  42. QUESTION:
Do you think Vanessa Hudgens would make a good Leah for New Moon Movie?
She is only rumored to play it but how do people feel about it?

    • ANSWER:
well personally I don't see why they need a LEAH in the first place for New Moon Leah doesn't even come in until Eclipse but I think that vanessa would be alright to play Leah if it came down to the facts she does have American Indian heritage she is about Leah's age... but as the others I'm not a huge fan of her

  43. QUESTION:
How do you think new moon is going to be?
I think that new moon is going to SUCK. I hate robert pattinson, he plays a terrible edward. Kristen is ehh okay. I also don't like the fact that they change it so rob is in it more-ew. I love the books, but i didn't like the twilight movie, nor did i have any expections of it...

  44. QUESTION:
Who do you think will play Renesmee in Breaking Dawn?
Ive been thinking about this for a long time. I know its going to be hard because she grows very fast. I read some where were its coming out in 2011 and its going ot be two movies. So who do you think? Or have they already casted? And do you think your gonna like it?

    • ANSWER:
It’s confirmed: There will be a fourth Twilight movie. Wrapping up filming on New Moon and Eclipse, Robert Pattinson confirmed that he’s going to make Breaking Dawn.

Readers familiar with the Twilight saga–or those who’ve just heard about it on the Internet–know that the fourth book is the one where things finally get, er, physical between Bella and Edward, and that things don’t go according to plan. Breaking Dawn contains some scenes that would make the staunchest horror-movie fan a bit queasy. Added to that the fact that the book is essentially three books stuck together, and you get something that might be quite hard to film.

Still, fans might be ready for a little action (double entendre intended) after three movies where most of the plot centers around the breakups and makeups and tension between Bella and Edward (and of course Jacob). Stephenie Meyer’s skill doesn’t lie in epic battles or other things that translate well to film, but in getting inside the head of a teenage girl in love. Yet the middle of Breaking Dawn is told through Jacob’s voice, and it comes out surprisingly convincing as well.

So there are several things in Breaking Dawn that haven’t been in the previous books, some for the better, some decidedly worse, and I wouldn’t want any part of having to translate it to film, but we’ll get to see what becomes of it sometime in the next couple of years.

  45. QUESTION:
What personality characteristics would you expect from a female with...?
Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio, and Mars in Leo?

(P.S. If you need even more information for accuracy, I have Mercury in Libra, Jupiter in Scorpio, Saturn in Pisces, Uranus in Capricorn, Neptune in Capricorn, Pluto in Scorpio, and N.Node in Scorpio.)

    • ANSWER:
Sun in scorpio means your passionate, intense, and mysterious. Scorpio rules the 8th house death, metaphysics (astrology palmistry, etc) sex and death. At first glance to some your mysterious or too quiet they have to know you, to others alluring, and to some a bit weird. Cancer moon can cause you to take to many things to heart and with vengeful scorpio sun you may be more obsessed than most with getting someone back. Loving cancer may never act on it but it will be the last thing on your mind at night. Break-ups will be extremely hard and you may never let what happen go but you have to LET THEM GO.

Not all bad loving and protective cancer cares for many people and things and with passionate and determined scorpio sun you will always take care of your partner physically and emotionally. ANYOME WILL BE EXTREMELY LUCKY TO HAVE YOU. Don't waste it on a pity case (and sometimes you will) You care deeply for others and strong enough (if not yet trust me you will be. Took years but eventually the mars we share with aries came through) not for them to take advantage of you. Scorpio/cancer a worrier with a gentle heart

With venus in scorpio your sensual, deep, mysterious and sometimes a bit cruel, your fame as a passionate and tempestuous lover is deserved. This is despite the fact that you're so very good at burying that smoldering intensity.

Scorpios can be cold but with warm leo in mars. With passionate leo you won't only tell them you love them, you will show them. (With venus scorpio you'll show them 3 times a night) With a leo in mars it's like "come on let's fly to paris." Expansive leos love to romance there partners (calm down a intense movie night will do) What's yours is his (remember cancer moon unless he paid for it, it's fine to share but don't let him take control of your things.)

  46. QUESTION:
Does our thinking affect what goes on outside us, and what goes on inside us?
Stars, moons, and planets remind us of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Is there a bigger being walking with all the stars within? Does our thinking affect what goes on outside us, and what goes on inside us? I think it does.

    • ANSWER:
i'm reminded of the eames movie entitled "the powers of 10" in which the viewer goes on a roller coaster ride backwards (by distances measured in powers of 10) starting at a park in michigan, to a million million miles out to watch galaxies appear as specks of dust, only to zoom back in to that park, and then zoom down, way down to the quarks in intense interaction in the nucleaus of a carbon atom in a capillary of a man's hand. good movie.

i'm also reminded of a specific siddhi, a technique for yogins living in india, written about 5,000 years ago, in which "the accomplished" could make himself (or herself) as big as the universe and as small as an atom at once.

our thoughts are unique in the universe. not only can we interact plainly with everything around us, and in fact master that interaction, but we can also imagine what exists on vastly larger and smaller frames of reference, indeed, i believe, the scientific persuit of such knowledge may be the very reason we were put on our own frame of reference.

to conclude, i would like to offer a quote from pablo picasso, "everything you can imagine is real."

  48. QUESTION:
Are they going to replace Taylor Lautner for New Moon?
I have heard rumors that Taylor Lautner is going to be replaced in the movie New Moon due to the fact of hes suppost to grow 6 inches. Is this true?

    • ANSWER:
yes - they are keeping him! I'm SO EXCITIED! they made it official yesterday

      January 7, 2009

Good news about New Moon from director Chris Weitz:

I'm very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in New Moon and that he's doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.

The characters in Stephenie's books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon; and I'm looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

      very best

      Chris Weitz

I'd just like to add that I was very much a part of this decision. My first priority was always what was best for New Moon—what was going to give us the best possible movie. I'm truly thrilled that Taylor was the one who proved to the director, to Summit, and to me that he is the best possible Jacob we could have. And I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he's going to bring to Jacob's character this year.
